Chapter 275 Private Detective

Juliet was a mess. Her hair was matted with coffee, and she was trembling and wiping her eyes with a soggy tissue.
Onlookers stared in surprise, but no driver would let her in their car.
Her phone rang, and without a word, she burst into tears.
"Juliet, what's wrong?" Ally asked, concerned.
"Luann humiliated me," Juliet managed to say.
"Luann? But you said you were going to Starlight Group today," Ally replied, growing impatient with Juliet's silence.
"Never mind, just give me your location, I'll come to you."
After hanging up, Ally rushed to Starlight Group from the airport. She spotted Juliet, who was a mess, and Ally waved frantically. "Juliet, over here!"
The driver hesitated, "Miss, this person..." Ally handed over a wad of cash.
"For the car wash." The driver took it, not daring to say a word. Juliet got in, her hair a mess, soaked through.
Ally sighed, embracing her without a hint of disgust.
"Don't cry. Let's get you cleaned up. You're a mess." Ally comforted.
"To the hotel," Ally said.
Juliet clutched Ally's clothes and spilling her drink. After a quick shower, Ally was exhausted.
"What happened?"
Juliet sniffled, holding a tissue to her nose, "It's all because of Luann. She not only stole Grace's Cloud Blue collaboration but also ask her fans to throw coffee at me, making me end up like this."
Ally was furious. "How could she be so cruel? Doesn't she care about your sisterhood?"
"I don't know what I did to offend her," Juliet said, her voice fragile.
"Ally, you have no idea how many fans were there just now. I feel so embarrassed, so humiliated," Juliet said.
Ally gently touched Juliet's dried hair.
"I feel so sorry for you. But I've heard of Starlight Group. With Luann's abilities, how could she let Starlight Group find a replacement so quickly?" Ally asked.
Juliet gritted her teeth. She said, "It's all because of the person providing financial support to her! Otherwise, how could so many things have happened?"
Ally frowned. She suggested, "Luann is already with Myron, yet she's still fooling around. We can't let her off easily!"
"Why don't I tell Myron about this and let him investigate?"
"No, you'll be alerting the enemy," Juliet said.
"Why do you say that?" Ally asked, puzzled.
A hint of fierceness flashed across Juliet's face.
"the Curtis family currently favors Luann. If we tell Myron without caution, he won't believe us, and Luann will find out." Juliet explained, "Then Luann will definitely be more cautious, and her dealings with the person providing financial support will become even more secretive."
Ally, deep in thought, stroked her chin.
Ally said, "Juliet, you're really smart. I didn't think of all this."
Juliet's eyes sparkled with satisfaction, her hidden intelligence shining through. She replied, "No, it was your idea. I just helped refine it."
Ally asked, "So what should we do now?"
Juliet seemed to have a plan, "Take photos and videos, and gather evidence of Luann's intimate activities with the person providing financial support.
"Then...
"We'll use this opportunity to expose Luann to everyone!
"Even if Myron wants to protect Luann, the Curtis family will never allow such a woman to stay in the Curtis family!"

Ally's eyes lit up.
"Great idea!"
"Let's do as you say." Juliet nodded.
"I'll hire a few private detectives to track them."
"This time, I will make sure that Luann can never get back on her feet!"
"And I'll help you get back to the restaurant!" Ally replied.
"Just let me know if you need anything."
"Okay." When they left Starlight Group, it was already dark. Luann came out of the building and saw a car with its headlights on. She walked up quickly, her smile sweet.
"Did you wait long?" Myron shook his head.
"Just a moment."
"Then let's go back to the hotel."
"Okay." The car moved slowly along the road.
Luann's hand gradually moved closer to Myron's, and she held his large hand, which was resting on his knee, with interlocked fingers.
"Myron."
"What's wrong?"
"Is Myron the owner of Starlight Group?"
She tilted her head, and the tunnel's light reflected on her face, making her bright black eyes stand out. Myron smiled gently, not hiding the truth.
"It seems I was too obvious?" "Yes, very obvious." Although Luann had already guessed this result, her heart couldn't help but be shocked for a moment.
When she found out that Myron's appearance was not actually damaged, Luann understood that the power behind Myron must have long since separated from the Curtis family.
It's no wonder that the older man loves Myron so much. There is a reason for that.
"Are you angry with me?" Myron asked cautiously.
Luann was puzzled. "Why should I be angry?"
"Myron is so capable; I'm just happy." He was relieved and no longer so nervous.
His background is a bit too complicated to tell Luann all at once—the matter of Starlight Group has two purposes: one is to help her, and the second is to see her reaction.
"That's good."
Luann leaned against his chest, unconsciously fiddling with his fingers in his palm. The phone in her bag vibrated twice.
Luann took it out, and her face froze when she saw the content. It reads: [My dear daughter, you've been back to the Upper West Side for so long. How's the investigation going on the Curtis family's side?]
