Chapter 462 Competing for a Man
Eight people looked at each other in confusion.
"So, what do you mean?" They confused.
Joshua poured them some wine and said earnestly, "I just need you to give me some advice on how to get closer to my partner or how to pursue this relationship."
Everyone suddenly understood. They were quite happy about it.
After all, earning money just by talking was quite enjoyable.
"Sir, how old are you both?" they asked.
Joshua replied, "I'm 24, and he might be 21 or 22."
Joshua guessed correctly; Hill was a bit younger than Luann, only 21.
"Oh, 21, he should still be in college, right? That's such an innocent age. Even though you're both guys, you can still give him gifts that he likes."
Joshua said, "He's not in school. He lost his parents when he was young and has had a very tough life. He doesn't play games much, either."
"Oh my." Someone with a soft heart sighed and added "That's so pitiful."
"Sir, I think this is even easier. For someone who has lost their emotions like this, you just need to stay by his side and keep giving him warmth. Let him know that no matter where he goes, there will always be someone behind him, supporting him. That's the best way."
"Alright, I think so, too." The eight people continued.
Joshua frowned and said, "So, after all you've said, there's still no concrete plan?"
"This is very concrete. Basically, just make him feel the warmth of a home." They replied.
"For example, have more people at home, cook for him every day, make the food he likes, and after eating, take a walk together. Imagine it, if it's at dusk or evening, the two of you holding hands, walking on a quiet path, the atmosphere would be wonderful. Occasionally, you two could exchange a smile."
"Yeah, in the evening, cuddle on the couch watching a game. When he falls asleep, carry him to bed and give him a gentle kiss."
"Wait, how could anyone fall asleep watching a game?" Joshua paused. The more Joshua listened, the more he felt something was off.
Whenever he stayed up late to watch a game, he was always very alert.
"That's not the point. The point is you need to create that atmosphere, you know?"
Joshua seemed to understand somewhat. So, everyone gave him a two-hour lesson. When Joshua came out of the private room, he felt enlightened and refreshed.
Some who hadn't left yet saw how good he looked and couldn't help but sigh, "Youth is great."
Such stamina, he could handle all eight of them.
Joshua didn't want to think about what they were imagining. Anyway, once he got in the car and left this place, he would never see them again. He also understood that this place was probably a special spot for "insiders," and ordinary people wouldn't find it. Since he had taken a cab here, Joshua needed to hail a cab to go back.
However, in this remote area, he waited for ten minutes without seeing a single car. Joshua decided to call a car, but the nearest one was about twenty minutes away.
"Alright, I'll wait." Joshua sighed and stood by a tree.
Suddenly, he saw a figure coming out from the back door of the bar, getting closer to him.
"Hey, it's you." Joshua greeted him proactively.
This person was one of the eight who spoke very little, just listening the whole time, looking silent and reserved. He looked quite good, but his eyes seemed overly sharp, with slightly upturned corners, giving off an unapproachable vibe.
"Sir." The man curled his thin lips and placed his hand directly on Joshua's shoulder.
"You have to take this step eventually, so why not let me teach you first?" the man voiced.
The disgust exuding from within made Joshua feel like vomiting.
Joshua took a sudden step back. But the man in front of him pressed closer.
"If you don't have any experience, how can you make your partner happy? I've been here for two years, and I know all kinds of tricks. I can definitely give you a different experience. Besides, it's your first time; you should leave a good impression, right?" the man whispered.
Joshua's hand pressed hard against his throat. He was really afraid that if he opened his mouth, he wouldn't be able to stop himself from vomiting.
"Sir, if you don't say anything, I'll take it as you agree, okay?" The man leaned in, blowing into his ear, "Since you fit my aesthetic, I won't charge you."
Joshua barely managed to squeeze out a sentence through gritted teeth, "Stay away from me."
The man let out what he thought was a magnetic voice, "What, can't wait?"
"Are you kidding me..." Joshua's cursing was cut short as he saw the man's expression change, being pulled back a few steps.
He turned his head sharply. Didn't see anyone.
Lowering his gaze, he saw a sharp-eyed person with short hair, filled with anger, looking at him.
"What are you doing?" Hill said each word coldly.
Seeing that Hill was short, the man sneered, "Oh, another one?"
Hill's face remained cold, and she suddenly swung her hand.
The man, about 6 feet tall, flew out and crashed into a tree trunk with a thud. The branches trembled, scattering leaves all over the ground.
The man was stunned as well as Joshua was.
"Oh my, such strength." the man screamed.
Joshua, who had been sitting in an office for a long time, suddenly felt envious.
"Let's go." Hill grabbed Joshua's wrist directly.
The man got up in pain and didn't take Hill seriously.
Although Hill's strength was strangely great, it didn't cause any real harm and wasn't particularly painful.
"I saw him first. Get in line, understand?" The man yelled.
Hill listened to his words with a wild and arrogant smile.
The autumn wind lifted her slightly messy short hair, revealing the faint sweat at her roots.
Joshua's gaze sharpened and thought, 'Could Hill have come here specifically to find him?'
Before Joshua could react, Hill grabbed his collar. He fell forward uncontrollably. The next second, a pair of slightly dry lips sealed his.
Joshua's pupils dilated in shock. A tingling sensation spread through his body like an electric shock.
It was a feeling he couldn't describe with words. There was a pain on his lips.
Hill had bitten him vindictively. After a simple kiss, she let go of him and looked provocatively at the man in front of them.
Her soft hair fluttered, and her exquisitely androgynous face was filled with arrogance.
She spoke wildly, "This man is mine. Got it?"
