Chapter 470 Sunflower Headquarters
As Alvin got off the plane, his legs were swollen.
He had booked the fastest flight available. Unfortunately, it was only in economy class. So, he had spent all those hours sitting. His legs felt unbearably heavy.
Alvin shook his calves heavily, holding his suitcase in one hand and his phone in the other, calling Luann.
"Hey, why isn't she answering?" Avian said.
After calling about ten times in a row, Alvin felt a bit desperate.
Not knowing the location, he didn't dare to wander around.
So, he squatted in a corner outside the airport, waiting for Luann's call.
But as he waited, he went from squatting to sitting. Eventually, he fell asleep leaning against the wall.
When he woke up, his first reaction was to wipe the drool from the corner of his mouth.
The next second, he realized.
"Where's my phone?"
"Where did my phone go?"
"My god. Who stole my phone." Avian exclaimed.
Alvin panicked and started jumping around frantically, while the people around him looked at him as if he were crazy.
When Luann saw the missed calls, it was already daylight.
She yawned and slowly called back. The other side didn't answer.
Myron said indifferently, "Maybe he's not coming. It's a long way. He probably doesn't have the patience."
Luann nodded, "I think so."
Without much contemplation, Luann swiftly packed her belongings and left for the Sunflower Group headquarters alongside Elodie.
Myron, also having a company to manage here, parted ways with Luann.
Sunflower Group was located in a skyscraper on the main avenue of Unionia.
The main building was extremely tall.
Even from afar, its extraordinary height was evident, indisputably the tallest building in Unionia.
It had 126 floors and a total height of 2,000 feet.
Construction began a year after Sunflower Group's development and took two years to complete, with a total investment of $14 billion.
This was Luann's brand, and she considered it her best work.
Elodie stood downstairs, looking up.
She felt incredibly small.
Mira stood beside her, perfectly straight.
For some reason, as soon as she entered, she felt every cell in her body tense up, inexplicably unable to relax.
The receptionist saw Luann and was about to speak with a face full of joy.
But Luann interrupted, "This is Elodie, here to shoot the company's promotional video. Please arrange it as soon as possible."
Luann knew Elodie's schedule was busy, and she could only stay for two or three days.
So everything had to be quick.
"Okay." The receptionist's voice trembled as she responded.
The receptionist walked over, smiling, "Please follow me upstairs."
The receptionist smiled and said, "Our top floor has many displays about Sunflower's development history. If you're interested, you can go take a look."
"Great"
"But we need to shoot the promotional video first," Elodie said.
In the dedicated studio, the photographer was already in place.
As soon as Elodie stepped in, Mira grabbed her arm excitedly.
In her ear, Mira whispered, "Oh my God. The world's most outstanding photographer, is he here to shoot for us? It's unbelievable that Sunflower could get such a famous photographer."
The photographer stood up and greeted them with a smile.
"Hi, everyone. I'll be handling all the shooting this time."
The receptionist translated for them, carefully explaining to Mira, "It's not that Sunflower hired them, but they volunteered to shoot for us."
"We've received many portfolios from photographers, and our boss personally selects the ones whose styles fit."
"Just so you know, they all volunteered to shoot for us for free. But our boss thinks that's not right, so after each shoot, there's always a generous reward." The receptionist explained.
Mira's eyes nearly popped out.
World-class photographers, who couldn't be hired even with a lot of money, were volunteering to shoot here?
Elodie slightly parted her red lips and sighed softly.
She had to admit the pressure was on.
After changing into her outfit and putting on makeup, she was dressed entirely in Sunflower's creations.
There were five sets to shoot today, a massive amount.
When Elodie walked out and stood there, the photographer exclaimed, "My God, this is almost perfect. Alright, except for Sunflower's boss. It's a pity she doesn't want to model herself."
Mira didn't understand and asked the receptionist.
The receptionist smiled, "Our boss once whimsically wore the same outfit and looked even better than Elodie. But the boss doesn't like to show off, so that was the end of it."
Mira smiled and didn't say anything.
She thought the receptionist and the photographer were just flattering.
After all, everyone knew that for Sunflower to become such a big brand, its background and strength must be very strong.
Therefore, the formidable leader must be a seasoned and rather elderly individual.
Otherwise, how could there be such perfect creations?
"Come on, one more shot."
"Smile."
"Chin up a little."
"Yes, this one looks cool."
"Again." The photographer continued constantly.
Mira sat quietly on the side, waiting.
By the time the second set was finished, it was almost noon.
Elodie's face was pale, even the makeup couldn't cover it.
The makeup artist asked with concern, "Do you want to take a break?"
Elodie shook her head, "Let's shoot as quickly as possible. The sooner we finish, the sooner everyone can wrap up. I'd rather not drag it into tomorrow; I have an MV shoot tomorrow."
The makeup artist was a bit worried, "Okay."
After changing into a new outfit, Elodie got up and walked out of the dressing room.
She suddenly felt dizzy.
Elodie lost control and fell forward.
The scene instantly turned chaotic.
"Oh my God. Someone fainted."
"Hurry. Take her to the hospital."
"Which one?"
"The one our boss usually goes to. Hurry." Everyone hurried.
