Chapter 311 Self-Recognition
The award ceremony had ended.
The audience was still savoring the afterglow of the event.
As they watched the winners leave the stage one by one, not a single person in the audience moved.
Lionel took a deep breath and turned to look at Emma.
"Emma, should we go backstage to find Luann?"
Emma's eyes were vacant with empty gaze, her mouth slightly open, looking like a fool.
Emma had been in this state for a full hour now.
Since Luann went up on stage, she seemed to have lost her soul.
"Emma?"
Lionel lightly tapped Emma's shoulder.
After about ten minutes, when it became clear that there would be no further interviews with Luann and the others, the audience reluctantly began to leave one by one.
"Emma, wake up."
This time, Lionel gently slapped her face.
Emma let out a sudden scream, surprising the departing crowd, who thought something had happened.
Next, Emma started dancing around, speaking incoherently, as if unable to articulate her thoughts clearly.
"How is this possible! Lionel! Oh my God! Am I dreaming? Quick, slap me! Myron is the second, Luann is the first, oh my goodness! They truly are amazing!"
Lionel was bewildered.
He looked around at the puzzled gazes directed at him, as if they were looking at a fool.
He cleared his throat."Calm down a bit. We can talk to Luann about it later. Let's leave for now, okay?"
Emma seemed not to hear Lionel's words, still in a state of shock, seemingly unable to contain her excitement.
Lionel had no choice but to wait silently for her to regain her composure.
After Luann, Myron returned backstage, the staff promptly started serving coffee, water, and various snacks.
Compared to others who had to get up and find cups for water, the treatment was far from equal.
However, no one dared to question it.
Who would dare to question?
After all, they were the first place and the second place.
Linda was also clever. She naturally knew that Myron was talented as well, or else he wouldn't have surged to second place so quickly, almost surpassing Luann.
After handing over the water, she tentatively asked, "Ethan, will you participate again next year?"
Myron replied bluntly, "No."
“Why not?” Linda was a bit anxious.
"There's no challenge." Myron said indifferently.
Linda's mouth twitched.
"How is there no challenge? Isn't Avoida above you?"
"She's my wife." Myron said.
Linda was taken aback.
It was display of affection again.
Luann, munching happily on some food, suddenly remembered something. "What about Ross?"
Linda turned around. "He should been over there. Where is he now?!"
She stood up abruptly and quickly checked the surveillance footage.
Ross had actually woken up half an hour after fainting and slipped away!
"How could you all let a person slip away like that! Such a big person and you let him escape?" Linda immediately scolded.
Myron's expression turned slightly cold, his tone icy, as if he didn't care.
"Let him go."
"I'm curious to see how long he can run."
Ann listened quietly to their conversation with eyes lowered.
Luann stood up.
"let's go back to the hotel."
"Okay."
The staff watched Luann reluctantly, waving frantically one by one.
"We must come back next year! Please!"
"Are you leaving so soon? Don't go."
As Luann stepped out, she was embraced by someone.
The force was so strong that it pushed her back a few steps, almost causing her to fall.
Emma, excited, exclaimed, "Luann, you're my idol! So Avoida is you! Are you my teacher? Happiness came so suddenly!"
Myron frowned, his sharp eyes cold and aloof, exuding a commanding presence.
"Let her go, you're going to hurt her."
Emma, realizing her mistake, quickly let go, standing there at a loss.
"Myron, I need to confess my mistake to you!"
Myron took off his suit jacket and draped it over Luann's shoulders.
The light blue checkered shirt accentuated his tall and slender figure, with a pair of subtly luxurious cufflinks fastened loosely. Every move exuded an air of unparalleled nobility.
"What?"
Emma swallowed nervously, her eyes closed with determination.
Forget it; she was bound to be reprimanded sooner or later!
Might as well let the storm come more fiercely!
"I didn't know Avoida was Luann before. I even thought about turning her into a lesbian, so we could be together! That way, I could always be with my idol! Myron. Don't be angry. I didn't mean to cuckold you! But both Luann and I are girls; you shouldn't be so petty, right?"
"You look so scary. Luann, it seems like he's going to scold me. What should I do, you have to save me. When I said that to you, you didn't refute me! So, by reverse thinking, you agree with me, right?"
A series of words burst out of Emma's mouth.
Myron coldly smiled, seizing the key point.
"Are you trying to cuckold me?"
Emma looked terrified.
"Haven't you known all along?"
Luann sighed, rubbing her temples, "Emma, you didn't say this in front of him."
Emma froze, looking terrified.
"What? Did I not say it? Oh my god! Does that mean I'm admitting it now?"
As she spoke, Emma suddenly grabbed Lionel's hand.
"Lionel, let's run!"
Without a word, Lionel dashed off.
The two figures quickly disappeared from their sight.
Luann forced a smile and walked towards the car.
"Emma is always so impulsive. Well, let's go back too."
As soon as her hand touched the car door, a figure suddenly pressed down on her, enveloping her in his arms .
Myron's handsome face carried a hint of coldness, his deep eyes exuding a chilling ice, with a faint smile at the corners of his eyes.
"Emma just said she wanted to cuckold me, and you didn't deny it?"
