Chapter 293 Breaking the Jar

A pair of white gloves fell disdainfully on Ally's body.

Paul and Susan's eyes were filled with tears. But they didn't dare to take a step forward.

Offending Myron and still being able to leave alive was already considered a mercy from Myron. If they provoked further, the consequences would only be more dire.

Peter tried to raise his hand to stop Myron but awkwardly put it back down.

Myron's gaze then turned to the last person involved in today's incident--Juliet.

Juliet widened her eyes, saying, extremely flustered, "This has nothing to do with me!"

"I was just following Ally's orders; I was also forced into this!"

"The Weaver family is no match for the Curtis family; I don't have the luck Luann has. Besides following Ally's instructions, I really have no other choice!"

"Luann!"

Juliet ran towards Luann, grabbing her arm and saying, "Luann, I'm sorry. It wasn't intentional. I really didn't mean it!"

Mike, seeing this, couldn't help but stand up, his expression tense. He was deeply concerned that Luann might pose a threat to Juliet.
He said, "Luann, Juliet is also in a difficult position."

Luann slowly pulled Juliet's fingers apart, saying, "Whether Juliet is in a difficult position is her own business."

"Whether I am willing to forgive Juliet is my business."

Mike gritted his teeth, thinking, ‘What are you doing here? You damn little slut!’

He said, "Myron, Juliet is young and naive, easily manipulated by others."

"Don't worry, when we get back, I will definitely discipline Juliet more and make sure she doesn't anger Luann again!" Mike spoke in a low and submissive tone, nodding and bowing.

Luann's lips curled slightly, her laughter clear but tinged with sarcasm.

She said, "Dad."

"You are really good to Juliet."

"When I was wrongly accused just now, why didn't you say a word for me?"

Mike's face stiffened. He said, "But what Juliet said is true. Before marrying Myron, you were indeed not a virgin, and you even stayed out all night."

Luann looked at him coldly and said, "I thought you would understand what was going on."

Myron directly threw a USB drive towards Peter, who caught it.

.

Myron ordered, "Play."

The powerful word made Peter pause.

Myron's cold eyes swept over. He said, "If you want to help clear Luann's name, do it."

Peter hesitated and walked to the computer, first shutting down the screen and then playing the contents of the USB drive.

Everyone couldn't help but sit up straight, eager to see what other big news there was.

The footage was a bit long, showing the scene where Luann and Wilber went to retrieve the text messages.

After listening to the conversation between the two and seeing the contents of the messages, even Juliet's expression gradually changed.

It turned out that Juliet framed Luann.

Not only did Juliet succeed, but she also turned around and accused Luann.

Sensing the situation turning against her, Juliet no longer wanted to pretend. She had an air of indifference.

Juliet said, "Even if I did all this, so what!"

"Luann and Wilber aren't married!"

"Wilber didn't reject my feelings for him!"

"In that case, I'm not a mistress."

"Clearly, Wilber and I have mutual feelings!"

"Myron, even if you can prove Luann was wronged, so what? She still slept with other men, didn't she?"

"Don't you feel even a bit upset about it?"

"Think about it! How did this woman blush and have relations with another man!"

Myron stared at her expressionlessly.

Juliet's smile gradually turned wild, her features contorted.

She added, "Don't pretend to be calm! In reality, you must be feeling terrible right now!"

Wilber, who was unconscious, regained some consciousness.

Luann looked at Juliet with a hint of pity in her smile.

When Juliet felt uneasy, Myron said, "That night, the person who was with her was me."

Juliet's pupils dilated, her body swayed, almost falling.

Her eyelashes trembled violently due to panic, her hand forcefully supporting the table to steady herself.

Wilber, lying on the ground, upon hearing this, was consumed by anger and fainted again.
"You... you..."

Juliet pointed at the two of them angrily, struggling to form a coherent sentence for a while.

A surge of anger lodged in her chest, making her extremely uncomfortable.

After all the effort she had put in, it was all to help Luann!

Seeing the situation turning against her, Mike hurriedly approached, grabbed Juliet, and left.

Holly immediately blocked their way and said, "Don't leave!"

"You bullied Luann, and now, do you want to leave without any consequences?"

"Mike Weaver, aren't you too biased?"

"Juliet is your daughter, but Luann is also your daughter!"

Mike was exasperated, saying, "Sometimes I wish Luann wasn't born in this world!"

Holly immediately said angrily, "What did you just say? You're asking for it, aren't you?"

Holly forcefully took off her high heels, held them in her hand, and jumped to smash Mike, shouting, "I really can't stand people like you!"

"No sense of responsibility at all!"

"I must teach you a lesson today!"

Mike muttered, "shrew."

Then he took Juliet and left in a hurry.

Holly anxiously shouted, "Eddy! Stop them!"

However, Eddy acted as if he hadn't heard, calmly playing with his phone.

As they passed by Eddy, he casually stretched out his foot, accidentally stepping on Juliet's skirt.

Juliet uncontrollably fell forward, the thin fabric of her skirt shattering.

What shouldn't be revealed was all exposed.

All the cameras immediately focused on Juliet.

Juliet frantically reached out to cover herself, shouting , "Don't film! Stop filming!"

Mike took off his suit jacket and wrapped it around Juliet's waist, his face pale.

"Juliet, let's go!" he said.

After Mike led Juliet away, the people on the scene were still in shock, unsure of what to do.

Myron looked at Peter and calmly said, "Thank you to your hospitality today. I will definitely repay the favor in the future."

Peter's mouth twitched slightly, and he looked at Luann as he explained, "I really didn't know anything about today's events from start to finish."

Luann lowered her eyes. Her tone was calm and unruffled. "Whether you knew or not doesn't matter."

Peter felt uneasy.

Did Luann not trust him?

Luann said, "Myron, I'm tired. I want to go home and rest."

Myron gently caressed Luann's hair, draped his arm around her, and departed, leaving a thousand onlookers and a gobsmacked live-stream audience behind.
