Chapter 295 Bide One's Time and Preserve Strength

This incident caused quite a stir on the internet.

The Weaver family was surrounded front and back, unable to even step out of the main gate.

If Juliet hadn't been able to return to the Talent Agency early to prepare the house for her, it would have been quite difficult for her to come and go.

Juliet extinguished all the lights, huddling in a corner. Her face was eerily lit by the lone glow of her phone.
When James learned of this news, it was already too late to stop it.

James looked at the numerous discussions online, pressing his temples with a headache.

Juliet really didn't give him a moment's peace!

Just a moment of distraction, and how did she manage to create such a mess?

Unknown: [These exposure photos are unbearable to look at!]

Unknown: [Who would want to see her? Delete it quickly!]

Unknown: [It must be said, Juliet has a pretty good figure!]

James, feeling irritated, got up and was ready to leave the office.

But the door was pushed open by someone.

Grace walked in wearing a pair of black high heels and said directly, "Looking for Juliet?"

James nodded.

Grace added, "James, I advise you not to get involved in this matter."

"Otherwise, Myron will definitely not let you off."

Although she didn't like Myron very much, Grace also knew Myron's methods. Especially when dealing with people other than the Curtis family, he would show no mercy.

Upon hearing Myron's name, James's mouth twitched slightly, saying, "So am I just going to sit here and wait to die?"

"If you want to keep your life," Grace said calmly.

"What is going on here?"

"I would like to know too."

The incident happened too suddenly; even Grace was in the dark, not knowing exactly what had happened.

Moreover, Vito clearly intended to protect Myron, avoiding the topic and not allowing them to discuss the matter with Myron privately.

It was really frustrating.

"I've said what I needed to say; I have things to attend to, so I'll leave now," Grace said and returned home.

In the room.

Lily was sitting there, looking somewhat restless.

Grace said, "Mom."

Lily got up, anxiously grabbing Grace's hand and asking, "What is Myron really up to? Why does he wear a mask on weekdays to deceive people? His appearance has long been restored; why doesn't he say it? But he keeps hiding it!"

There was an indescribable anger on Lily's face.

Grace patted Lily's hand and said, "Myron is a peculiar person with a strange personality and way of doing things."

"What I'm most worried about now is that your grandfather is too fond of him, biased towards him!" Lily recalled the favoritism Vito Curtis showed towards Myron many years ago, saying, "At that time, everyone in the Curtis family thought that Myron would be the next helmsman!"

"If it weren't for the fire incident, Myron would probably have already secured his position in the Curtis family."

"For us, that wouldn't be a favorable situation!"

Listening to her mother's concerns, Grace advised softly, "Don't think too much now; Myron has been out of the business circle for many years."

"Even if he wanted to make a comeback now, it's probably too late."

Lily sighed in relief , "That's what I think, too. the Curtis family has such a huge industry, and everyone has put in effort. Why should we just hand it all over to Myron for nothing? That's unfair."

Grace nodded and said, "Don't worry; even if they want to return to the company, they'll need my approval first."

"Even Luann, didn't I quietly switch the contracts of the people I buried in the company without her knowing?"

Lily and Grace smiled at each other.

"You are smart," Lily praised Grace, who was her only hope.

"Don't confront Luann directly now; bide your time and preserve your strength. As long as you maintain your position in the entertainment industry, your grandfather will look at you with favor," Lily said.

Grace replied, "I understand."

"As for the North family, they're practically asking for trouble. Ally's thinking isn't clear enough; don't get too close to her." Lily's words carried disdain.

After all, she was a rich girl from one of the four major families, but she was being used by Juliet, who came from an ordinary family.

They are being used and still working for others.
"As for Ann, my impression of her is still good. If she can marry Joshua, it might be advantageous for us." Lily calculated. "Grace, you have a good relationship with Ann. Do you know what she's thinking?"

Grace furrowed her brows slightly and said, "Ann seems to have already someone she likes, Eddy from the Nash family."

Lily sneered, "That playboy, a waste, idle all day, and often hangs out with Myron, Eddy?"

"Yes," Grace replied.

"Such poor taste. In comparison, Joshua is far superior to Eddy!" Lily cursed under her breath, "If Ann ends up with Eddy, would n’t that be disadvantageous for us?"

Grace shook her head and said, "They won't end up together."

"Holly, Luann's friend, is already dating Eddy."

"Ann is in a dilemma now."

Lily burst into laughter. "Very good."

On the way back to the Nash family.

The car was quiet.

Holly sat next to Eddy, her poker face showing no emotion, texting Luann.

Alan and Sharon sat in the front, exchanging glances and sighing frequently.

Where did this uncultured crazy girl come from?

It was really damaging to her image to get angry and even take off her high heels to chase after someone.

"Eddy...," Alan spoke first, "Why don't you take Holly back first?"

The implication was that they didn't want the three of them to sit in the car together.

Holly looked up and naturally understood the hint in Alan's words.

Without hesitation, Holly cut to the chase, saying, "If you want me to leave, just say it directly; no need to beat around the bush."

Alan's mouth twitched slightly, feeling awkward.

The car stopped by the roadside, and Holly got out, holding up her skirt.

Eddy hurried to catch up and asked, "Are you angry?"

Rolling her eyes, Holly said, "Get angry with elders? Not to that extent."

Looking at her cute, angry expression, Eddy couldn't help but pat her head, saying, "My parents are tough on the outside but soft on the inside; you'll see after spending more time with them."

Holly shivered and said, "Please don't; I'm just here to help you complete the task. Otherwise, I wouldn't have gone looking for trouble."

The smile on Eddy's lips faded slightly. He said, "Let's not talk about this; let me take you to eat. Are you hungry?"

"Okay, I'm actually a bit hungry."

"Let's go."

Eddy naturally took Holly's hand and walked towards the upscale restaurant.

Meanwhile, in the car that had long since driven away, Alan and Sharon were engaged in a heated argument.

"Oh my, how could Eddy find such an uncultured girl as his girlfriend? Today really surprised me too much!"

"No, this Holly absolutely cannot be with Eddy anymore; she will harm Eddy!"
