Chapter 460 Seeking Experience
"Feeling better now, right?" Joshua turned to his side, his gaze fixed on Hill's profile, and asked cheerfully.
Hill responded, "Yeah, much better. But it sounds pretty bad. Do you really dislike that girl?"
Joshua shook his head indifferently. "What's the big deal? I was the one who messed up first. It's normal for her to be angry. But she really went too far. You have no idea how pretty that little girl is. Her eyes are so bright and her hair is long, looking just like a doll. How can she be so violent? She better be careful or she'll never get married."
Hill glanced at him sideways. "Aren't you afraid she'll come over and hit you for talking bad about her?"
Joshua wasn't afraid at all; in fact, he was quite provocative. "Let her come then. If she dares, I'll fight her!"
With a wicked smile, he added, "But, in bed."
Hill stared at him with a half-smile. "Are you sure?"
Even though it was normal for guys to joke around sometimes, Joshua felt somehow scared and awkward under Hill's gaze. "Let's not talk about this. Let's move on to the next ride. Look, there's a carousel over there." He grabbed her wrist.
"Joshua, you obviously have feelings for me. Why don't you admit it?" Hill said bluntly.
Joshua was so startled by her loud voice that he immediately covered her mouth and pulled her into a corner. "Are you crazy? Why are you shouting? Do you want everyone to hear?"
Hill shrugged. "I don't care."
"Explain yourself. When did I ever show interest in you? Can you stop being so narcissistic?" Joshua was fuming.
Hill started counting on her fingers. "At the beginning, you took money from my bowl to get my attention. Then, when I had no place to stay, you generously took me in. You didn't charge me rent, and you even took care of my meals and clothes. Today, you brought me to the amusement park and cared about my health by not letting me eat ice cream. Joshua, your feelings for me are so obvious. Just admit it."
Joshua took her money because his wallet was stolen. He took her in because she clung to his car window and almost scared him to death. He didn't charge rent because she said she spent all her money on a phone. As for the amusement park and ice cream, they had nothing to do with her.
Just as Joshua was about to refute, Holly's words flashed through his mind. "At this moment, if another equally rich and good-looking person appears in front of Hill, the problem will be solved. For Hill, whoever has money is the boss. If there's no suitable woman, a man will do."
Now was the perfect time to easily pull Hill away from Luann. If he seized this opportunity, he would be entangled with Hill in a complicated relationship.
Joshua thought Luann had done so much to guide him and now it was time for him to repay her.
Joshua looked up and forced a smile he thought was perfect. "Didn't expect you to find out. So, do you want to be with me, Sweetheart?"
Alvin peeled a banana and took a big bite. His cheeks puffed up as he chewed, looking at Joshua, who seemed like the sky was falling, and asked, "Joshua, you've sighed sixty-five times. What's bothering you so much?"
Joshua looked at him, hesitated, and all the words he wanted to say turned into a sigh.
Alvin rolled his eyes, took out his phone, and prepared to play a game. But Joshua suddenly grabbed his wrist.
Their eyes met. Alvin clearly saw the struggle and hesitation in Joshua's eyes, along with some embarrassment.
Joshua said, "I do have something to ask you today. Close the door first."
Alvin sighed and got up reluctantly. "What's with the secrecy?"
When he returned, Joshua patted his shoulder. "Sit up straight."
"Okay." Alvin cooperated.
After a series of internal struggles, Joshua finally asked, "I just want to know how to get along with a guy around twenty-one years old."
Alvin replied without hesitation, "Just like us. You're the elder. Why are you nervous?"
Joshua realized he misunderstood and quickly clarified, "I mean, dating!"
Alvin was stunned. "What do you mean? You like guys?"
Joshua quickly stopped him, a bit angry. "Why are you so excited? Aren't you the same? Just tell me the tips, or I'll expose your dirty secrets with Eddy to Holly."
Alvin was shocked. "Are you crazy?"
"Do you want a beating? Don't think I don't know about you messing around with Eddy in drag. That video was really something." Joshua used Alvin's past as a shield. If Alvin didn't have this experience, he wouldn't have humbled himself to ask him.
