Chapter 465 Very Perceptive
Myron patted Luann's back earnestly.
Her rosy lips still had traces of milk she hadn't wiped off with her gaze darkened slightly.
Luann didn't notice and said with a mix of laughter and tears, "This is getting out of hand. If Alvin tells Joshua's mom, who knows how we'll deal with it."
After speaking, she didn't hear a response from Myron for a while. When she looked up, she found herself staring into a pair of deep, ocean-like eyes, hiding a suppressed fire.
"Honey?" Luann called softly.
Myron's hand pressed her shoulder, easily pinning her onto the bed.
The next second, he lowered his head. His tousled bangs fell onto Luann's face. She closed her eyes and felt a cool sensation on her lips.
"Hey, Come on," Luann mumbled softly, but the rest of her words were swallowed by Myron.
Finally, she had a moment to catch her breath, and Luann turned her head, blushing. Her breathing was uneven.
"We have to get up early to catch a flight tomorrow. It's time to rest." Luann pushed.
Myron brushed her hair aside, revealing a flawless, almost glowing face.
"Just once." Myron negotiated with her.
Luann bit her red lips lightly, "No, not even once."
A low chuckle came from Myron's throat, deep and magnetic like a cello, tickling her heart.
"Baby, do you really not want to?" He leaned close to her ear, his breath causing ripples.
Luann's gaze trembled, a layer of tears forming in her clear eyes. Her eyes reddened visibly, a faint allure in her brows.
"Then you better be quick." Luann nodded.
This sentence was like a spark in a dense prairie, igniting a blazing fire the moment it was lit. The light was turned off. Clothes were faintly heard hitting the floor.
In the increasingly thick atmosphere of intimacy, Luann's complaint could be heard: "Myron, you jerk."
Morning came. Myron opened his eyes. Luann was sleeping soundly in his arms, her long eyelashes closed.
She was comfortably and greedily snuggled in his embrace, her brows relaxed, a faint smile on her lips, as if she was having a sweet dream.
Myron gently kissed her forehead. As he was about to get up, Luann murmured and hugged him tighter in her sleep.
Myron skillfully pulled a pillow from the bedside and placed it in Luann's arms, then got out of bed smoothly. He cradled and picked up Luann in one swift motion.
After getting dressed, he returned to the bedside. He cradled Luann in one swift motion.
Luann yawned groggily, her head drooping on his shoulder, asking, "What time is it?"
"Six-thirty." Myron's right foot stepped on a small stool in the bathroom, his straight leg bending. He lifted her slightly, making her sit securely on his leg.
"Hold on to me." After Myron's deep instruction, he turned on the faucet to wash Luann's face and brush her teeth. Finishing this, Luann was much more awake.
Today was the day she had to return to Unionia for a shoot with Sunflower Group. Elodie's schedule was tight, so they had to compress the time as much as possible. Luann gave Alvin a location and told him to meet at eight sharp, with no exceptions.
After waiting for a while without a reply from Alvin, she knew he might not make it.
But it didn't matter; if he really wanted to come, he could book a later flight himself without all the hassle.
"Are you so tired?" Myron noticed Luann rubbing her waist and stepped forward to help her massage it.
Luann gasped and glared at him with a mix of blame and coquettishness, ignoring him. Myron was clearly being unreasonable last night.
"Are you mad?" Myron nuzzled her neck like a small animal, affectionately.
"Go away." Luann picked up her suitcase, ready to leave. Myron quickly took it from her. How could he let Luann do such things herself?
"Do you think I didn't perform well last night?"
As soon as they got in the car, Myron asked.
Luann rolled her eyes, gritting her teeth.
"Good, well done." Luann rolled her eyes, gritting her teeth.
"So good that you kept me up all night."
"But it was indeed just once." Myron calmly reminded her. Luann didn't bother arguing with him.
"Just go. We still have to pick up Elodie." Luann urged.
"Okay." Myron nodded The car soon stopped in front of Elodie's building.
Elodie was quick. As soon as the car stopped, she came down with her assistant Mira.
Mira greeted them warmly. Elodie glanced at Myron's cold expression and said sensibly, "You two lead the way, we'll follow."
Luann was puzzled, "There's enough room in the car, it's just the four of us."
Elodie smiled, "No, I'll sit in the back. I might get car sick, so I'll trouble you."
Luann didn't insist after hearing that. But Myron was quite pleased with Elodie's sensibility.
He gave her a faint glance. Elodie nodded politely, quickly getting in the car.
Mira asked in surprise, "Elodie, since when do you get car sick? You've never been car sick before."
Not to mention car sickness, actors often have to do wire work. If they got car sick, how could they film?
Elodie replied expressionlessly, "Why would I intrude when a couple is in the car? One should be considerate and sensible."
Mira nodded repeatedly, saying she learned something.
"Yeah, Mr. Curtis does seem indifferent and not easy to get along with."
"When he glanced at me just now, I felt like it was winter."
"Geez, I don't know how Ms. Weaver puts up with it." Mira chattered.
Elodie smirked, a smile that didn't reach her eyes.
"Someone who seems hard to get along with just doesn't want to get along with you."
"It doesn't mean he's the same with his loved ones," Elodie explained.
Mira suddenly understood.
"That makes sense."
They soon arrived at the private jet terminal. The four boarded the plane.
The interior wasn't large but had everything they needed. The beds were comfortable and neatly made, perfect for a good sleep.
Elodie took a quick look around and knew this was a private jet frequently used by one person, with everything in place.
She guessed right; this was Myron's private jet for occasional domestic and international trips. Myron had no intention of offering it to her, instead helping Luann to sit down.
"You didn't sleep well last night. How about catching up on some sleep now?" He spoke softly.
