Chapter 21 Master Taster

Luann Weaver said, "Please go and prepare the wine testing."
Carlton Daniel smiled awkwardly and put his hand in his pocket.
"It was too sudden, I forgot to bring the Gold Card."
The server said, "Sir, if you can provide your phone number, we can verify it on our side."
Carlton Daniel rarely dined at this place.
If it wasn't for Luann Weaver today, he wouldn't have invited these people to such an expensive restaurant!
How could he possibly have the Gold Card?
Luann Weaver took out her card and handed it over.
With the expensive jewelry as an accompaniment, her colleagues in the company did not perceive her as showing off.
Soon, the waiter placed five glasses of drinks in front of her.
Everyone's eyes were fixed on her.
Luann Weaver casually picked up a glass of wine, held the stem slightly tilted, turned counterclockwise, stared at the subtle sediment in the wine with star-like eyes, then lowered her head and took a sniff.
Her behavior was like flowing clouds and flowing water, elegant and noble.
If someone knowledgeable in this area were present, they would know she was an expert at wine tasting.
Even the people who had recently tried to cause trouble for Luann Weaver couldn't help but admire her, focusing their attention on her.
Someone said, "It's so unnecessary to drink like this, why go to such lengths just to drink?"
Before Carlton Daniel could reply, someone forcefully kicked open the half-closed private room door.
"If you don't understand, then stop babbling. Have you ever drunk red wine? Just by looking at her, you can tell she's a wine connoisseur, okay!"
Everyone turned their heads to look.
A young man, dressed in formal attire, with a clear and handsome appearance, stood there.
Under his slightly open suit was a hip-hop-style outfit, dressed in an unconventional manner.
A playful smirk hung at the corner of his mouth, as if he were the person who had been eavesdropping at the door.
"Who are you! This is our private room, who gave you the right to barge in!"
"Yeah! Waiter! Is this the kind of service attitude you have at The Vintage Mirror?"
Upon seeing the appearance of the young man, the waiter immediately bowed respectfully.
"Young Master."
The young man nodded and skillfully used the toe of his shining shoe to pull over a chair, sitting not far from Luann Weaver, raising his hand with interest.
"Please continue."
Everyone exchanged glances.
The waiter introduced, "This is the young master of the Curtis family."
The young master of the Curtis family?
The notorious little demon of the Upper West Side?
The person who had spoken unkindly just now immediately shut his mouth and took a few steps back, hoping to lower his presence and avoid trouble from this young man.
The young man's arm fell freely on the back of the chair, his right leg's ankle resting on his left leg's knee. He gazed at Luann Weaver with keen interest.
Luann Weaver's red lips left a mark on the wine glass, and she took a sip.
The intoxicating taste immediately filled her entire mouth.
After tasting the five wines, someone couldn't help but ask.
"Which one is it?"
The young man involuntarily leaned forward, seemingly anticipating the answer.
"The fourth glass," Luann Weaver said calmly.
The waiter smiled and said, "Yes, it is indeed the fourth glass."
The woman standing next to Alisha Mullen pouted, "She must be guessing, all the wines look the same."
"Just a one-in-five chance, not difficult to guess. When the wine was brought up, I already knew it was the fourth glass," the young man said confidently.
Luann Weaver's red lips curled into a smile.
With a gentle opening of her lips, a cold yet elegant voice reached everyone's ears.
"Bartus, Mutton, Lato, Romanikante, Lafite."
As soon as these words were spoken, everyone was shocked!
Luann Weaver said the names of five wines in one breath. Could it be...
The waiter was stunned for a few seconds before exclaiming, "Miss, you actually got them all right!"
If getting one wine right could be considered a coincidence, then knowing the names of all five wines was extraordinary.
It was clear that Luann Weaver had a high level of expertise in this area!
The young man slowly clapped his hands and looked at her approvingly, saying, "Well done! I've been in this circle for many years, and it's the first time I've encountered someone on par with me.
He picked up the glass of wine that Luann Weaver had finished and handed it to the waiter.
The waiter hesitated for a second and cautiously looked at Luann Weaver.
Luann Weaver said, "Pour it."
"I also like 90s wine. You have good taste, young sir."
After the young man finished speaking, he took a sip.
Whether intentional or coincidence, the spot where he drank from happened to be the same spot where Luann Weaver had drunk.
Luann Weaver didn't mind and instead smiled lightly.
She was naturally beautiful, and her smile was like adding flowers to brocade, softening her coldness and adding a touch of tenderness. Even her eyes softened, making her autumn-water eyes even more enchanting.
"The reason I like this wine the most is because the taste of raspberry mixed with blackcurrant is very delicate."
The young man nodded repeatedly.
"Yes! Yes! We're the same!"
The smile on Luann Weaver's lips deepened.
"Oh, I remembered it wrong. It's actually cloves and blackberry."
The young man: "..."
Did Luann Weaver just play with him?
"Haha... I almost believed that the little devil understood wine."
"He knows nothing. He only knows how to eat, drink, and have fun all day. Look at the way he looks at Luann Weaver. His eyes are practically glued to her."
The young man's ears turned slightly red, and he raised his chin slightly, coughing lightly twice.
"This bottle of wine is on me."
After saying that, he stood up and approached Luann Weaver, speaking in a voice only they could hear.
"What's your name?"
Getting closer, he could smell the faint fragrance emanating from Luann Weaver's body.
It wasn't perfume, but it was especially refreshing.
Luann Weaver's meaningful words came, "Don't worry, we will meet again."
The young man immediately understood Luann Weaver's hint and smiled mischievously before leaving.
Carlton Daniel hurriedly said, "Alright, everyone, please sit! The food is getting cold."
His smile carried a hint of bitterness, and he glanced at Luann Weaver several times.
After all, the other person was the young master of the Curtis family, wealthy and powerful.
Could he compare to them?
Before everyone could even sit down, Alisha Mullen had already downed a glass of wine.
Little did she know, Luann Weaver would not only back down, but she also took this opportunity to show off! She had a charming appearance, not only seducing her husband, but now also getting involved with the little demon king!
How can such an ambitious person be allowed to continue causing trouble in the company?
