Chapter 303 Throw Him Down

Filled with a night of anxiety.
Emma didn't sleep well.
When the alarm clock rang, she lazily turned over in bed, unwilling to get up.
There was a vibration when a message entered her phone.
[Are you awake?]
Emma reluctantly opened her eyes a crack and yawned in response.
[I just opened my eyes.]
[I'm waiting for you at the door.]Lionel responsed immediately
Dragging her tired body out of bed, Emma freshened up, donned cool camisole shorts, slung a bag over her shoulder, and retrieved a large foldable banner from her suitcase.
When she came out, Lionel was startled.
"What's this?"
Emma smiled, "It's for cheering Avoida! When she receives the award up there, I'll wave little stars for her and hold up the sign! This sign can even light up! I'll make sure she is the most dazzling person in the room!"
Lionel hesitated for a moment, then smiled, "Alright."
Although he really wanted to tell Emma that this was different from being a fan.
But seeing Emma so excited, he couldn't bring himself to say it.
As they were about to leave, Luann and Myron were still fast asleep.
The sunlight coming in from outside was extremely dazzling.
Luann reached for her phone from under the pillow, "It's ten o'clock... Huh? Ten o'clock?"
Luann sat up abruptly and slapped Myron's chest.
"Get up quickly!"
Myron nonchalantly grunted, grabbed her wrist, and pulled her into his arms.
In a lazy, hoarse tone, he slowly said, "No rush."
Luann rolled her eyes, "I am in a hurry. If you want to keep sleeping, go ahead, I'll just quickly do my makeup."
It was her first time attending an award ceremony, so she had to pay some attention to her appearance.
But when Luann was ready, she found Myron still sleeping.
"Get up quickly."
"I am tired."
"You're still tired after sleeping for so long?"
Myron, with a smile in his eyes, replied meaningfully, "It's all because of you."
Luann looked puzzled, "You're accusing me. Clearly, it's because you saw the message Emma sent me and got jealous, bothering me until late at night. Otherwise, we wouldn't be waking up so late."
"If you don't go, I'll go by myself."
Before taking a step, Myron sat up.
"Wait for me. Five minutes is enough." He said.
Five minutes later, the two of them left the hotel and headed to the venue.
Coincidentally, as soon as they passed the security check to enter, they saw Emma and Lionel.
Emma remembered Myron's voice message from last night and discreetly looked away as if she hadn't seen them.
It was Luann who spoke first, "Hello, you guys are here quite early. Have you found your seats?"

Emma forced a smile, "Not yet, they said they'll let us in in a while."
"Oh, I see. I'll go find something to eat first." After saying that, Luann took Myron upstairs.
Emma hesitated, "Isn't the food outside?"
Inside the lounge, there were already thirty to forty people seated.
Chatting happily.
Complimenting each other.
Luann even spotted two familiar faces.
"Isn't that Ann and Ross?"
Myron glanced coldly at them.
Roy quickly walked over, happily saying, "Avoida, you're here, your seat is ready, come over."
"I haven't eaten yet, feeling a bit hungry."
"What would you like to eat? I'll prepare it for you right away."
Luann and Myron were afraid that eating here might be inconvenient, so they simply sat on regular chairs.
"Just something casual, you decide."
"Alright."
Roy was efficient. About five or six minutes later, he brought the food over.
The aroma naturally attracted quite a few people's attention.
Ross, seeing Luann and Myron, furrowed his brows, "How did these annoying pests get in here?"
Ann glanced over, feeling somewhat uneasy, "Let's not bother about it."
"What do you mean not bother? Who knows how they sneaked in, and now they're here to eat? They're quite audacious, aren't they afraid security will kick them out?" Ross stood up abruptly, looking like he didn't want to let them off.
Ann hesitated for a moment but didn't follow.
This lounge wasn't a place where just anyone could enter.
'Earlier, Luann had been talking about finding a teacher for Emma. Could it be that she's a friend of hers? And she won an award? So Luann came to visit on purpose? ' he thought.
Just as Ann was lost in thought, a blonde woman walked towards them.
"Oh my God! I thought my eyes were playing tricks on me! It's really you!"
Luann smiled at her, "Congratulations, you got tenth place this time, not bad."
The blonde woman waved her hand, smiling but exceptionally humble.
If it weren't for Luann guiding her during a bottleneck period in her early years, she wouldn't have reached her current height.
To her, Luann was like a life mentor.
They had a brief encounter, with no excessive interaction.
But it had been etched in her memory for years.
Ross, who had approached, immediately understood.
He whispered to Luann, "Don't you know the rules here? Even if you're visiting a friend, you should be more careful, right? Do you think this is the Curtis family, where you can do as you please?"
The blonde woman didn't understand and looked at Luann in confusion.
Luann waved her hand gently, indicating it was fine, and asked her to go back to her seat.
The blonde woman naturally followed Luann's lead but shot a fierce glare at Ross before returning to her seat.
Thinking of saying a few words to her benefactor, she didn't expect to be interrupted by this person.
Luann smiled lightly, "This isn't the Curtis family, nor is it your academy. I'm afraid you don't have the right to speak here."
"I'm more far-sighted than you." Ross raised his head proudly, "If everyone acted like you, allowing anyone to come in for a visit, wouldn't this lounge turn into a hotel?"
Myron's tone turned cold, "Say one more word. I'll throw you down from here."
Ross panicked for a moment but quickly reacted.
"Do you think you can control everything with one hand even if you’re the Curtis family?"
Myron's eyes narrowed, he casually pulled out a handkerchief, grabbed the carefully dressed collar of Ross's suit from behind, and effortlessly lifted him up.
Then, he opened the window and pushed Ross halfway out.
The height of over ten floors made Ross dizzy.
A strong sense of weightlessness hit him.
Ross clung tightly to the window sill, screaming loudly in fear, "Myron! Are you crazy! Let me go! Are you really trying to kill me!"
