Chapter 32 Two Boyfriends
Luann Weaver had gotten used to such situations a long time ago.
Every time Holly Weiss went to the pub, she would attract a group of handsome men.
It was the same wherever she went.
When those men saw Luann Weaver, their eyes instantly lit up.
Without anyone reminding them, they all surrounded her.
"Luann, come sit here!"
Holly Weiss excitedly patted the seat next to her, beckoning her.
As soon as she sat down, Holly Weiss leaned over and giggled in her ear.
"See if there's anyone you like, just take them away, It’s my treat!"
Luann Weaver didn't even glance at those men and casually poured herself a drink.
She took a sip and remained silent.
"No way! Don't tell me you're afraid of being caught by your husband."
The crowd's spirits sank when they heard this.
Such a young and beautiful girl was already married!
"You say your husband is so ugly and incapable in that regard."
"As your sister, shouldn't I help you?"
The men who were feeling down just now exchanged hopeful glances and ignited the spark of hope again.
Luann Weaver was speechless at Holly Weiss' unrestrained words.
"Not interested."
"I realize, you and your husband are simply a perfect match!"
After so many years as best friends, they had grown up together since childhood.
They knew each other's personalities very well.
But Holly Weiss had never heard a single word regarding that department from Luann Weaver's mouth.
She was feeling a bit itchy in her heart!
"Sister, you wouldn't happen to want to live a detached life forever, would you?" Holly Weiss raised an eyebrow with deep meaning.
Its intention was self-evident.
Luann Weaver had no intention of hiding it from Holly Weiss. She waved her hand at those men, gesturing for them to leave.
Then, she told her everything that had happened in the hotel in great detail.
Holly Weiss initially listened with a gossiping mindset, but the more she heard, the more furrowed her brows became.
So, not only did Wilber Gilbert cheat, but he also schemed against Luann Weaver!
She had previously believed, from afar in a foreign country, that Luann Weaver had broken up with Wilber Gilbert to complete the family mission!
Yet, there were still so many unexpected entanglements involved!
"This scumbag! An evil pervert! He even played around in an illicit affair? How shameless can a person be!" Holly Weiss's heart filled with anger, almost boiling over.
How could she allow others to bully her dear friend, whom she cherished like a precious gem?
On the other hand, Luann Weaver took a more open view. "Things are good now."
She and Myron Curtis maintained a respectful relationship, so everything was calm.
"Have you found that person?" Holly Weiss asked the most crucial question.
Luann Weaver took out a delicate cufflink from her bag and placed it on the table.
"I came across this incidentally that night."
Holly Weiss picked it up and examined the light refracted inside.
"It looks expensive, something not just anyone can afford."
"I haven't seen this design before; maybe your older and second brothers would know if they were here,"
Luann Weaver shook her head in resignation.
"The room was too dark at the time, and I didn't even see what he looked like," she said.
Holly Weiss let out a sigh, her good mood vanished.
"Never mind, don't think about it anymore."
"Let's go, let's dance!"
She pulled Luann Weaver out of the private room and walked to the center of the chaotic dance floor, wanting to drown out the recent gloom with deafening music.
Luann Weaver was fairly distracted. She pushed through the crowd and walked towards the bar to sit down.
But, someone unexpectedly forcefully bumped into her, almost causing her to fall.
"You blind woman, can't you watch where you're going? Are you blind?"
Luann Weaver had just straightened herself up when she heard an unreasonable voice.
The person was clearly drunk, with a face as red as a monkey's bottom, reeking of alcohol.
"Apologize! Can you not hear me?"
He stretched out his hand and pushed Luann Weaver rudely.
In the next second, Luann Weaver was pulled into someone's embrace.
"Brother, can your eyes grow on the back of your head?"
"She was walking in front, could you see her?"
Luann Weaver looked up and saw a young man with impeccably groomed hair.
"You who the hell are you! What does it have to do with you! Get lost!"
The young man chuckled lightly, mixed with a trace of sharpness.
"I forgot, you can't reason with idiots."
After speaking, he raised his leg and kicked the man's stomach hard!
The man fell to the ground in pain, howling.
The young man's hand rested on Luann Weaver's shoulder, protecting her as they left the dance floor and arrived at a relatively quiet corner.
"It's a coincidence to meet again, it seems like we have some fate."
"I saved you this time, how do you plan to repay me?"
"By offering yourself... how about that?"
The young man's smile carried a sense of mischief, revealing a pair of slightly pointed tiger teeth, his amber eyes fixed on Luann Weaver as if she was already in his grasp.
Luann Weaver created a safe distance between them and said, "Thank you."
"Holly!"
Holly Weiss ran over, looking at her with concern.
"Are you alright?"
The young man's eyes lit up slightly, his rosy lips repeatedly pronouncing the word "Holly" between his teeth, "Holly, is that your name? It sounds really nice."
Holly Weiss looked up and couldn't help but gasp.
"Oh my god... he's younger than you! This is unbelievable!"
The young man was highly satisfied with her reaction.
He playfully placed his hand back on Luann Weaver's slender shoulder, trying to pull her closer.
At the same time, he asked her in a clear voice,
"Do you feel that we have a matching height?"
Luann Weaver bluntly replied, "No."
The young man was about 1.8 meters tall, but compared to Myron Curtis, he was still a bit shorter.
"Cough, cough, we've met twice now, and I think you're quite my type. How about we date? I've never been with a girl older than me before, you would be the first."
In his words, there was an implication that she should feel honored.
Luann Weaver politely refused him, "I'm sorry, I already have a man."
"Then you can have one more." The young man spoke without reservation.
Luann Weaver's expression suddenly became meaningful. She raised her beautiful almond eyes, reflecting specks of light from the surrounding lamps, and a hint of smile slowly emerged and gradually spread.
"Are you sure?"
The young man nodded without hesitation.
He firmly believed that with his status and appearance, no girl could resist him!
As long as Luann Weaver was with him, he was confident that he could drive away her original partner.
"Of course I'm sure!"
Luann Weaver extended her slender fingers and lightly hooked them.
"Your phone."
The boy thought she was going to give him her contact information and quickly took it out, carefully unlocking it.
However, Luann Weaver opened the contacts and dialed a number that was familiar to both of them.
Before the young man could react, a cold voice from his older brother echoed from the other end of the phone.
"Hello." Luann Weaver smiled.
"Your brother just asked me if I mind having multiple boyfriends."
Young man: "???"
“No, it's not like that!”
“Big brother, listen to me. Let me explain!”
