Chapter 23 Luann's Anger

Facing Myron Curtis's cold attitude, Doctor Kim remained composed, smiling gracefully.
She could understand.
Usually, in such situations, people's characters are not very good.
"If the young master wants to drive me away, perhaps he will have to ask the old lady to come in person."
"After all, I was personally hired by the old lady at a high price."
Myron Curtis stared at her coldly.
"Actually, you don't need to have such strong defenses against me. I don't know if the young master remembers, but we met a few years ago at the downtown hospital."
At that time, she was still a young intern.
"At that time, I made a little mistake and got scolded by the director. You happened to pass by and spoke up for me."
From that moment on, Myron Curtis' impressive image was imprinted in her memory.
Later on, she heard that he got into trouble.
And then, rumors about him became more and more rampant.
She wanted to help him, but she always lacked the means to do so.
Until she heard the dean mentioning that the old lady was looking for someone, she used her authority to replace the originally intended professional doctor and came herself.
All for the sake of being able to see him.
"So, we can consider ourselves old acquaintances now."
Myron Curtis had already forgotten about the scene mentioned by Doctor Kim.
"Don't worry, I'm a professional in this field. I guarantee that I can cure your illness."
"Patients like you, Mr. Curtis, I see several of them in a month."
Doctor Kim was very confident.
No matter how cold and indifferent a man was, how could he not be moved in the face of such a beauty?
Myron Curtis's cool eyes narrowed slightly.
"John, take her out."
John outside the door trembled.
He thought he was hiding it deep enough!
The old lady rolled up her sleeves and angrily rushed in.
"Grandson, it's best to treat your illness early! You have to keep bothering me, don't you?"
"I finally found you a doctor, can't you be grateful?"
"Could it be that you don't want any descendants in your life?"
Myron Curtis's face turned dark, "Grandma..."
"Oh!" The old lady clutched her chest and resorted to her usual trick, "It hurts so much!"
She kept giving Doctor Kim meaningful looks.
Doctor Kim understood.
"Young master, it's better not to provoke the old lady."
"Don't worry, I won't take up too much of your time, at most half an hour."
Saying that, she took out a black eye mask from her bag and handed it to Myron Curtis.
The old lady hurriedly snatched it, her actions faster than her words.
"Quick! Put it on!"
Endless darkness enveloped him instantly.
John stood beside them, hesitant to speak. He looked at the satisfied expression on the old lady's face and couldn't help but ask in a low voice.
"If Madam comes back and sees this scene, she won't get angry, will she?"
"How could she get angry? Her temper is always good at night."
"Besides, I'm treating my grandson's illness! Don't worry."
The old lady was confident.
But for some reason, John felt unusually anxious.
The door was gently closed, leaving only a small gap for them to peep through.
Inside the room, Doctor Kim slowly lit a scented candle, and the faint scent of lilies provided a calming and relaxing effect.
"Don't be nervous, Mr. Curtis. We can chat like friends."
"Do you like going to bars, Mr. Curtis?"
"When was the last time you had contact with a woman?"
No matter what questions Doctor Kim asked, Myron Curtis remained silent. His hands clenched into fists on his knees. If he took off his blindfold, she would surely see the strong displeasure and irritation in his expression.
If it weren't for the consideration of the old lady's frail health, he wouldn't let this woman behave so wickedly in front of him!
"What type of girl does the young master like? Mature or youthful?" Doctor Kim's voice seemed to come from all directions.
In Myron Curtis' mind, an image gradually emerged. Luann Weaver. He had never thought that a woman could grasp her own charm so well. He still remembered the night they first met, when she looked like a mature fairy.
But when they met again, her calm aloofness and occasional shy cuteness left a deep impression on him. He couldn't forget it for a long time.
Doctor Kim watched as his fists gradually relaxed, walking lightly to his side with a gentle laughter.
She slightly bent down, whispered into his ear, "What does the young master think of me?" Her voice was seductive, with a lingering tone. Her hand slowly reached Myron Curtis' shoulder.
Myron Curtis coldly snorted and was about to move away from her. But the door was kicked open with a bang! Doctor Kim's hand froze in mid-air.
Luann Weaver held a cake in her hands, her beautiful features emanating a cold demeanor.
Perhaps because she had a little wine that evening, her cheeks were naturally flushed, which looked quite attractive. In comparison, Doctor Kim's beauty seemed a bit dull.
The old lady interjected, "Luann, Luann..." But before she could finish her sentence, Luann Weaver calmly stepped forward with a smile on her lips. Doctor Kim also stared at her. In the depths of her eyes, a hint of deep jealousy flashed by.
"Doctor?" Luann Weaver asked calmly.
"Yes," Doctor Kim straightened up, responding with a somewhat provocative tone.
"Where did you come from?"
"The downtown hospital. I was invited by the old lady."
The old lady passed the buck to John with an awkward smile as she retreated, saying, "Luann, don't be angry. I just wanted to get him treated..."
John quietly pulled the old lady down to avoid involving innocent people.
"Do you really need to make a fuss in treating this?" Luann Weaver walked to the scented candles, sniffed lightly, and then extinguished them.
The corners of her lips curved up as she said with a meaningful tone, "Does your teacher, who taught you these unconventional methods, know that you're using them to treat others?
Doctor Kim felt a slight panic in her heart but pretended to remain calm. "What do you mean? I don't understand."
Luann Weaver let out a long 'oh' and took off Myron Curtis's eye mask, smiling but not smiling.
"I'm really curious, how do you cure patients?"
"Do you sleep with them?"
Doctor Kim's face changed drastically, becoming furious.
"Miss, you are disrespecting people too much!"
"I am a professional doctor, I won't allow you to insult my profession!"
"I don't care who you are, you have already disrupted my treatment of the patient, now please leave immediately!"
Luann Weaver's gaze turned cold.
Raising her hand,
a slap was delivered.
Smack!
Doctor Kim was stunned by the slap.
Luann Weaver sneered.
"A professional doctor?"
"More like a professional in climbing into men's beds!"
"You know better than me what is added to this scented candle."
"And also."
Luann Weaver ripped off the badge hanging from her white coat.
"The invited doctor, your surname is not Kim, is it?"
