Chapter 282 Lilies Bloom

The atmosphere in the living room fell silent for a moment before erupting into angry laughter.
"Luann, are you kidding me?"
"What do you think you are, daring to say such arrogant words!"
"Will you teach Emma?"
"How dare you say those words!"
Luann raised an eyebrow.
"Don't worry. I haven't finished my words."
Grace confused. "What do you mean?"
Alvin stifled a chuckle.
Ross furrowed his brow, cleared his throat, and then redirected everyone's attention to him.
"If it's a well-educated teacher who has won multiple awards, I could consider sending Emma over."
"However, as far as I know, Miss Weaver, you don't excel in this area."
Myron coldly remarked. "Ross, you're meddling too much."
His icy gaze was sharp as the stars, vast as the deep sea, and ominously bottomless.
Without a hint of warmth, his words, thick with murderous intent, crawled up Ross's spine.
He shuddered involuntarily.
But with Ann by his side and Vito Curtis presiding, he summoned his courage and said, "I'm doing this for the sake of Emma."
Ann, who had been quiet throughout, smiled gently.
"Although this is a matter of the Curtis family, I shouldn't have interfered."
"While I want to say that my teacher has topped the global art rankings, absolutely has the ability, and will definitely produce the next outstanding student."
Lily, hearing this, felt envious to the core.
That's why Ross brought Ann with him, and they were welcomed.
In the global art rankings, only truly talented individuals could make it there!
Just being in the fiftieth spot was enough to surpass the majority of domestic peers!
Not to mention, Ross had brought along someone younger than him yet ranked higher—Ann!
If one day Emma could achieve such glory, it would truly enhance the reputation of the Curtis family!
Upon hearing this, Emma, like a rebellious child, exploded instantly.
"No matter what you say today, I'm going with Luann!"
With that, she ran towards Luann, seeking her protection.
Lily was about to reach out and grab her, but Diana stood up to stop her.
"The child is grown; pushing her too hard isn't good."
Lily gritted her teeth. She turned to Vito Curtis. "Dad?"
Vito Curtis impatiently closed his eyes and waved his hand.
"Let it be; let Emma make her own choice."
"Whatever the outcome, she'll have to bear it herself."
Emma, with innocent eyes, finally relaxed her tense shoulders.
Seeing that things were settling down, Luann gracefully stood up.
"We'll leave now and handle Emma's withdrawal from school in a couple of days."
"Go ahead."
As Luann passed by Ross, her steps paused slightly.
A soft voice drifted into his ears through the air.
Luann warned. "Ross, remember, don't be too arrogant."
"There will be a mountain in front of you that you'll never be able to climb in your lifetime."
Ross's mouth twitched, his fist clenched.
Once outside the villa, Luann took a deep breath.
Myron, noticing her impatience, reached out to massage her temples.
He asked, "Feeling unwell?"
"Listening to their bickering gives me a headache," Luann said lightly.
She never liked arguing with others; she preferred shutting them up with her strength.
Myron suggested, "Let's head back."
"Okay." Luann replied.
On the way home, Myron sat in the back seat, allowing Luann to lie down with her head resting on his lap.
He reached out, slowly massaging her scalp to relax her mind.
The driver ahead drove extra carefully, taking a deliberately longer route to ensure a smooth ride.
By the time the car stopped, Luann had already fallen asleep.
Myron carried her out horizontally and headed towards the house.
John followed behind him.
After settling Luann in the bedroom, Myron came out coldly and said, "Look into Ross from Emma's school and see what shady things he's been up to these years."
"Alright." John nodded.

Two days later, Luann took Emma to the academy to complete the withdrawal process.
While there, they ran into Ann. She looked at Luann with a hint of regret on her face.
Ann remarked, "Miss Weaver might have been a bit impulsive this time."
"Staying here might be a good thing for Emma."
Luann smiled faintly.
She retorted, "What you cherish may not be cherished by others."
Ann's expression stiffened slightly.
Footsteps approached from a distance.
A tall boy stopped in front of them, politely nodding before turning to Emma.
"Are you really dropping out of school?"
Emma nodded. "Yes, Senior Lionel."
Lionel's thin lips parted, and after a moment, he reached out, patting her shoulder.
"Then I hope everything goes well for you."
"Thank you." Emma said.
After leaving the academy, Emma felt a sense of emptiness in her heart.
She couldn't help but look back and saw Lionel still standing there, waving at her when their eyes met.
Emma's mood plummeted instantly. She asked, "Luann, was I too impulsive?"
In fact, Luann hadn't mentioned anything about dropping out to her; she indicated she would find an excellent teacher for her to fulfill her dream.
Luann looked at her, puzzled. "What?"
Emma replied, "About dropping out, I..."
"Do you regret it?" Luann asked.
Emma remained silent.
Luann added, "Dropping out doesn't mean you'll stop learning. You've always loved comics. I can arrange a new school for you."
Emma's eyes lit up. "Really?"
"Absolutely." Luann said firmly.
"Then who will be my teacher?" Emma felt Luann's statement 'I am the teacher' was definitely a deception since she couldn't draw.
Luann smiled slightly.
"Min."
"Min will be your teacher."
Emma couldn't believe that her eyes widened in disbelief.
She asked in astonishment, "Luann, what are you saying?"
"Min can be my teacher?"
"Really?!"
"I'm not dreaming, am I?"
Seeing Emma's sudden excitement, Luann's smile grew wider.
Luann replied, "Of course, it's true. However, she's going to attend an award ceremony soon. Once she's back, she can teach you with peace of mind."
Emma screamed. "Oh my god, sister, you really know Min! Wasn't Min from last time doing that painting? I thought the style was familiar! Luann, tell me, what does Min look like? What type of girl does he like? Do I fit his aesthetic? What kind of image do I need to have?"
Luann was speechless. "Hold on."
"Do you think Min is a man?"
Emma was stunned for a moment.
"Isn't she a girl?"
Luann nodded seriously.
Emma looked crestfallen, but after a moment, she regained her confidence.
"It's okay; I'll just turn her into a lesbian if necessary and date her!"
Luann was speechless.
