Chapter 203 She's Remarkable
Malcolm, wordless, carried Reese upstairs. Alyssa stood there stunned. Eventually, she shrieked in disbelief.
"Oh my God!”
They hooked up in the car! No wonder Reese was so drained. So much for those who doubted her brother; this was just epic.
At this rate, Alyssa mused, there might soon be a bundle of joy. She'd become an aunt, right? At least she’d have someone adorable to play with and wouldn't be so bored.
She waltzed in cheerfully, only to run smack into Everly, who had just stepped out. Everly caught Alyssa’s goofy grin and threw her a disdainful look.
“What guy did you meet online this time? Who got you smiling like that?”
Everly and Alyssa's relationship had been tense ever since Alyssa had a sudden change of heart and became Reese's loyal defender. Now, whenever they met, it was like a standoff, and Everly couldn’t fathom why Alyssa had taken such a liking to Reese.
Alyssa glared back. “What’s it to you? Don’t tell me... you’re not sour because Reese and Malcolm finally hit it off, are you?”
Everly’s eyes widened in anger. “What nonsense are you spouting? Those two...”
Impossible! Wasn’t it common knowledge that Malcolm and Reese hadn't gone there? Even the daily cleaning crew hadn't spotted anything like condoms or bloodstains.
Seeing Everly’s shocked expression gave Alyssa immense satisfaction.
“Why not? Are you watching them 24/7? Plus, Malcolm and Reese like it adventurous. Is it any of your business if they get their thrills in the backseat?”
“Outrageous! That’s just irresponsible.” Everly was fuming, her face beet-red, and she looked like she could slap Reese on the spot.
Alyssa crossed her arms and tilted her chin defiantly.
“They’re a married couple enjoying their marital bliss, and it’s none of your concern.”
“I…” Everly suddenly found herself at a loss for words.
With a smug look, Alyssa strutted past Everly and headed upstairs. Everly’s nails dug into her palm, watching Alyssa’s proud departure.
What did she have to be smug about? Malcolm just saw her as an outlet, a nobody from the sticks. How could he ever truly love her?
Only Everly deserved him. She had adored him since childhood, dismissing other eligible suitors without a second glance.
He was indelibly etched in her mind.
And Reese? Everly absolutely must find a way to get her out of the Flynn family.
When Reese woke up the next day, she felt much better after a good night's sleep. Stretching lazily, she turned her head and was greeted by the handsome features of the man lying beside her.
Memories of the previous day's intimate moments flooded her mind. His physique was truly top-notch, even though she hadn’t really compared him to other men.
Malcolm's physique was a feast for the eyes—flawless, no excess fat, all perfectly sculpted. Even his look of restrained desire was enough to make Reese swallow hard.
"Can't get enough?" His voice was a husky murmur, tinged with tease. "Go ahead, touch. I don't mind, honey."
A blush swept across Reese’s cheeks. “Who’s looking at you?”
“You mean you weren’t?” Malcolm teased knowingly.
Reese turned away, glancing at her phone—it was already nine o’clock.
“You don’t have to go to the office today?” she asked.
“I figured I’d spend the day at home with my wife.”
His hand rested on Reese’s waist, pinching the soft flesh of her belly. He wished he could keep her all to himself, away from any prying eyes that might covet her beauty.
Ever since he had his wife, Malcolm felt like an indulgent ruler who lost interest in his duties, focusing only on the beauty in his arms. He’d even cancelled his morning meeting just to spend a few more precious moments with her.
“I don't need you to stay home with me, I've got my own things to handle.”
Reese also wanted to check on Louis’s injury to see if it was healing well.
Suddenly, Malcolm’s eyebrows quirked up, and he leaned in, his cool lips brushing her ear as he whispered, "Honey, I want a kiss."
If it hadn't been for her apparent discomfort the night before, as it was her first time, he’d have wanted more than just once.
Reese prepared to reject him, but then his lips nibbled at her earlobe, sending a shiver down her spine and a jolt through her entire body.
Her neck tickled, and she instinctively shrank back. "It's ticklish, let me go..."
His energy seemed boundless, and Reese couldn’t help but wonder how, after their exhausting previous night, he could come at her so eagerly this morning.
She generally prided herself on her stamina but had to admit that she was still a bit sore and uncomfortable.
But Malcolm felt invigorated, as if initiating that intimate connection had unlocked his vital energy. Just holding Reese set his hormones racing, almost as if he had the urge to merge her into himself.
His fingertips trailed over her soft waist, and his voice deepened with desire. "Honey, I want you..."
Reese’s eyes widened in shock. Malcolm was a divine tormentor, especially with that voice that nearly drove her mad.
She thought, maybe in another life, she should switch roles with Malcolm. She’d render him unable to leave the bed.
"I'm sore down there," she murmured, perhaps more gently than she’d ever spoken in her life, likely because of him.
Her voice was soft, laced with a playful pout that made Malcolm yearn even more. His wife was too beautiful; he simply didn't want her to go out.
Yet, when it came down to it, he cared more about Reese's well-being. He knew it was tough for her the first time and that she would need a few days of rest.
He managed to contain his desires.
"Why don't you call me 'honey'?" he teased.
Embarrassed, Reese mumbled, "I... I can't say it."
"Didn't you call me that before? Come on, sweetheart, say it with me, 'honey.'"
He was incredibly patient, gently coaxing her.
Reese's cheeks turned a fierce red, and after a long hesitation, a few strained words finally escaped her lips.
"Honey," she whispered.
Malcolm's lips curved into a pleased smile. "That's great. Now say it again, honey..."
Reese followed his lead and repeated, more confidently this time, "Honey."
"Good girl." His eyes brimmed with adoration as he lovingly ruffled her hair.
"So can you let go of me now?" She hadn't forgotten.
Content, Malcolm finally released her. They got dressed, and as Reese was putting her hair up, Malcolm, holding his tie, gave a sly grin.
"Babe, would you tie this for me?"
