Chapter 621 Finally Fulfilled (The Grand Finale)

Reese raised an eyebrow. "Isn't it obvious?"

Sebastian was in awe of Reese. "You really did it. You said you would, and you did."

Sure enough, Clara wasn't on board with the marriage. "What did you say? She came here for you and Alyssa? What are you two planning? If you're thinking about getting married, forget it. I won't agree."

But Sebastian was stubborn. "Mom, if you don't agree, I'll never marry. I'll stay home with you and Dad, and I won't even think about getting a girlfriend."

Clara was almost losing it. "You're being ridiculous!"

Reese cut through the nonsense. "The reason I'm here, as Sebastian mentioned, is about him and Alyssa. Grandpa Flynn has already agreed. Now it's up to you. If you don't agree, that's fine. In a week, the stock market will hit an unprecedented low. Have you decided which stock to buy to protect yourselves?"

Reese was smart about it. She used both carrot and stick instead of just threatening or arguing.

But the Hawthorne family knew that Reese bringing this up meant she had already calculated everything.

And the terms she offered were tempting. Everyone in the industry was anxious, including Stephen. They wanted to buy the hidden gem stock during this turbulent period to make a significant profit, much more than usual.

The terms were so tempting that even Clara was moved, but...

Clara snorted, "You want to trade my son's lifelong happiness for this deal? That's too much of a bargain for you."

Reese sneered, "Whether it's a bigger bargain for you or us, you should know very well."

Alyssa was a girl, and it was clear who was at a disadvantage. Clara's lack of discernment made her words quite ridiculous.

Stephen wasn't fixated on anything else; he just wanted Reese back. Such a capable daughter was a boon for the Hawthorne family.

With so many assets and the Flynn family backing her, how could she be interested in the Hawthorne family's assets?

But as a short-sighted woman, Clara couldn't see the bigger picture. "You've got it all planned out, haven't you? Having my son marry your sister and then legitimately inheriting our family's assets. Plus, with Alyssa, your family members must have planned this out."

Clara's stupidity left Reese speechless. If her mother hadn't been so kind back then, Clara wouldn't have been a match for her.

She couldn't be bothered to persuade further. "If you don't agree, so be it. The upcoming turmoil will bring significant trouble to the Hawthorne family. I think Mr. Hawthorne understands this well. If anything goes wrong, don't say we didn't warn you."

After saying this, she turned to Malcolm. "Honey, let's go. Even if they don't agree, with Sebastian's personality, he'll still be with Alyssa no matter what."

Malcolm supported Reese carefully. "Let's go. Be careful, dear. Now that you're pregnant, you can't be as freely as before."

Stephen could hardly believe his ears when he heard Reese was pregnant. "What did you just say? Reese is pregnant?"

Before Malcolm could answer, Sebastian quickly replied, "Yes, Dad, you're going to be a grandpa."

Stephen was overjoyed. "Really? That's wonderful. Reese, I'll make the decision. Let Sebastian and Alyssa get married. You can discuss a date, and we'll get it done."

"Stephen, you..." Clara was shocked.

Reese responded, "If you can walk the talk, that would be awesome. I'm sure you don't want the Hawthorne Group to face any more turmoil. I also promise that if their wedding goes smoothly, we'll exit the entertainment industry and transfer all unsigned projects to you."

Stephen could hardly contain his joy. "Are you serious?"

"I'm not like you. I keep my word," If she couldn't do it, she wouldn't promise. But once she said it, she would find a way to make it happen, never breaking her word.

Stephen naturally trusted Reese's character. In this regard, no one in the Hawthorne family could compare to Reese.

Stephen offered, "Alright, then we'll discuss it later. Both families can sit down for a meal. Reese, now that you're pregnant, you should have Mr. Flynn take you to the hospital for a check-up."

Reese's attitude remained cold and distant. She was temporarily making peace with Stephen only because of Sebastian.

If it weren't for him, she wouldn't have come to the Hawthorne Villa. She wasn't the type to take the initiative.

In response to Stephen's concern, Reese replied coldly, "I know what to do about these things. There's no need for you to worry."

"I... I just wanted to show some concern for you," Stephen felt a bit let down seeing Reese still so indifferent.

Reese stayed cool. "No need. Just make sure you pay attention when Sebastian and Alyssa get married."

"Of course," Stephen nodded. His son's wedding was definitely something to focus on. Actually, Alyssa marrying Sebastian was a pretty good match. The Flynn family was a big deal in the industry, and lots of people would do anything to get in. How could they not be willing?

Sebastian walked Reese and Malcolm out. "Reese, I really have to thank you for today. If it weren't for you, I wouldn't have gotten past my mom."

Reese replied, "Whether you get past her or not is up to you. If you really want to marry Alyssa, no one can stop you, not even your mother. You care about each other. Alright, the rest is up to you to prepare."

Sebastian offered, "Okay. Reese, you should go to the hospital with Malcolm for a check-up. Since you're newly pregnant, you need to confirm it at the hospital."

As the future uncle of the baby, if he didn't have to go back and comfort Clara, he would have wanted to go with Reese himself.

Sebastian's words reminded Malcolm. He said to Reese, "It's still early. If we head to the hospital now, we'll have enough time. I'll ask Justin to make an appointment. It won't take long. We need to check on the baby. Even if you're great with medicine, you can't see the baby without an ultrasound."

Malcolm blocked all of Reese's potential arguments. She had nothing left to say.

Reese could only agree. "Alright, I'll go."

Malcolm drove them straight to the hospital. After a series of tests, Malcolm seemed even more nervous than Reese while waiting for the results.

Glancing back at him, Reese couldn't help but laugh, "Why are you more nervous than I am? You're not the one giving birth."

Malcolm replied, "It's my first time, so it's inevitable..."

Looking at the report, the doctor couldn't help but tease after hearing Malcolm, "Mr. Flynn, don't worry. The baby is very healthy. In fact, several of us doctors think it might be twins."

"Twins? You mean twins?" Malcolm's eyes lit up with surprise.

The doctor nodded. "Yes, there's a 90% chance it's twins. But we can't tell the gender yet."

Malcolm quickly responded, "I don't care about the gender. As long as it's ours, I love them."

The doctor couldn't help but feel envious. "Mr. Flynn, you're a good husband."

Malcolm answered, "It's my duty."

The doctor offered, "I'll prescribe some folic acid for Mrs. Flynn. It's good for both the baby and the mother."

"Thank you, doctor," Malcolm said, carefully helping Reese up.

Reese was bewildered by his cautiousness, gently pushing him away. "You don't have to be so careful. I'm only a little over a month pregnant. I'm not showing yet, and I'm not clumsy."

Malcolm finally let go of Reese.

Soon, the news of Reese and Malcolm's wedding spread quickly in Atlanta. The president of the Flynn Group was having a wedding, which was a major event. The media had been preparing for a month, waiting for the big day.

It was bound to dominate the news and social media.

Moreover, Ms. Alyssa Flynn was also marrying Mr. Sebastian Hawthorne. Both weddings were being held together, making it an unprecedented event.

Setting the date, Aiden informed Reese and Malcolm. The Hawthorne and Flynn families met again and quickly finalized the details.

Although Clara appeared somewhat reluctant on the surface, it was ultimately because of Reese. She chose to remain silent.

On the wedding day, Reese wore a white wedding dress. With her exceptional figure and looks, she naturally stunned everyone. But in her eyes, there was only Malcolm, and Malcolm only saw Reese.

The media didn't miss any classic moments, working even harder than the photographers.

During the exchange of rings, Malcolm held Reese's hand as if it were a treasure. "Honey, I finally get to see you in a wedding dress. You're so beautiful, just as I imagined."

Reese chuckled, "You really know how to charm me, don't you?"

Sebastian and Alyssa were also happy for them.

The bride and groom exchanged rings and kissed.

The crowd erupted in cheers.

Nine months later, Reese gave birth to twins, a boy named Roy Flynn and a girl named Grace Flynn. Malcolm held Reese's shoulder, contentedly looking at their children.

With tears in her eyes, Reese said, "Honey, my life is finally complete."

Malcolm kissed Reese's forehead and sighed, "Having you and our two children in this life, I feel the same way."
