Chapter 416 Not Even Worth a Finger
"Come out and meet me." Alexander said directly, showing he wasn't one for small talk and got straight to the point.
Reese's tone was as cold as an ice cellar. "You want to meet, so I have to meet you? Why?"
Hearing that arrogant tone and attitude, Alexander changed his face. He had never been refused before, and now he was rejected by a girl in front of his assistant, feeling his pride was insulted.
His attitude didn't soften a bit, but he was still very assertive. "You took my project, and you don't even dare to meet me?"
Reese sneered disdainfully. Why wouldn't she dare? "I just don't want to meet you."
Such a straightforward refusal was the first time Alexander had been rejected so bluntly, and for a moment, he couldn't handle the psychological gap.
"What if I insist on meeting you?"
Alexander didn't give up just because Reese didn't want to see him. She had taken his project, and he had to meet her. He wanted to see who dared to do this.

The female colleague sneered and said, "Do we need to know? Isn't it obvious? You must be out of your mind to follow her. If she doesn't give you any benefits, what's the use? Is it worth becoming enemies with so many colleagues for her? You should join us. Maybe Reese will come back begging you one day."
Sophia couldn't believe these words came from a person's mouth.

Other female colleagues started mocking Sophia too. "You're like Reese's dog, useless, just following her around."
Sophia felt incredibly hurt, almost leaving but then returning. "Stop talking nonsense. Reese really considers me a good friend."
"A good friend? Sophia, are you out of your mind or just naive?"
"Yeah, how could the Flynn Group president's wife be friends with an ordinary person? Aren't there enough rich friends outside? You're overestimating yourself."
Sophia, eyes red, couldn't do anything against them. What could she do alone?
