Chapter 462 Dismissing Malcolm

Jason panicked. "Mr. Flynn has passed out."

Justin was extremely anxious. How could something go wrong at this critical moment? What should they do now?

Forgot it, there was no way to rely on Mr. Flynn at this point.

Justin said, "Mr. Tartt, call an ambulance and get Mr. Flynn to the hospital."

Jsaon said, "Alright, you figure out what to do about the company."

Jason was at a loss as well. He had no idea what was going on. Mr. Flynn's health had clearly been improving recently, so why did this happen all of a sudden?

Could it be something wrong with the medication he'd been taking?

For now, he had to get Mr. Flynn to the hospital first.

Justin hung up and hesitated for a moment, especially seeing the shareholders heading towards the conference room. He felt a sense of foreboding. The only person he could call was Mrs. Flynn.

He quickly dialed Reese's number. Reese hadn't even finished dealing with her matters when she saw Justin's call.

Reese asked, "What's wrong, Justin?"

Justin said anxiously, "Mrs. Flynn, it's bad. Vincent is leading some people towards the conference room, seemingly to remove Mr. Malcolm Flynn from his position. What should we do now?"

Reese asked, "What did you say?"

Reese almost thought she was hearing things. Vincent was leading people to the conference room to remove Malcolm? Was he dreaming?

She had investigated Vincent. At most, he was just a shareholder. How could he possibly threaten the position of the president of the Flynn Group?

Justin patiently repeated, "It's true. It looks like he's been preparing for this for a long time."

Reese's mind worked quickly, and she immediately realized. "It seems this trouble was indeed caused by Vincent."

Justin said, "You mean..."

Reese said, "You should understand what I mean. There's no need to investigate further. The person who reported issues with the Flynn Group is very likely Vincent."

Otherwise, how could they explain his sudden move of bringing so many people to the conference room and request Malcolm's removal? The inside story here was probably only known to him.

Justin certainly believed Reese. After all, the timing of this incident was too coincidental. If it had nothing to do with Vincent, he wouldn't believe it.

Clearly, Vincent was aiming for the position of president of the Flynn Group.

However, the point was, even if they knew, what could they do? There was no way to solve it now.

Justin asked, "Mrs. Flynn, Vincent is already here. He must have come prepared. What should we do now?"

Reese said, "Stall him. Even if he wants the position, the shareholders won't agree immediately."

Justin asked, "And then?"

Reese said, "I'm heading back now."

Justin was surprised. "Can you make it back in time?"

"I should be able to." If Reese hurried, it wouldn't be a big problem.

This was the only way now, to delay as much as possible.

Justin said, "Alright, I'll try my best."

Reese had one more thing to remind him. "Vincent must have already colluded with those shareholders by giving them benefits in private. If he gets too aggressive, remind those shareholders to think about who brought the Flynn Group to where it is today. If they follow Vincent, can they guarantee the same dividends every year? And can Vincent's abilities match Malcolm's?"

People always fought for their own interests, and the shareholders were no different.

Justin immediately understood. "Mrs. Flynn, I got it."

By this time, Vincent was already in the conference room, and the shareholders were all present.

Vincent said, "Fellow shareholders, given my brother's recent condition, he is no longer fit to be the president of the Flynn Group. Moreover, he has plunged the company into such a crisis, which is his dereliction of duty. Even if he could return, I believe you would no longer trust him. The financial loophole in the company is no small matter."

The other shareholders knew this was no small issue. Even if Malcolm could eventually clear his name, his position in the Flynn Group would no longer be secure. After all, this was a stain on his record.

One of the shareholders said, "I think Vincent should temporarily take over the position. At least the Flynn Group would have someone to manage it. We can't be without a core leader. Look at the mess the company is in now."

"I agree. After all, they are all from the Flynn family. It doesn't matter who holds the position; as long as they can bring stable profits to the company. That's the most important thing."

"That shouldn't be a problem. Vincent studied this field. He only switched to medicine because Malcolm took the position."

"But if you say that, can Vincent's abilities bring the same benefits to the company?" Justin happened to hear this and immediately stepped forward. "You've been with Malcolm for many years. You should be very clear about how much profit he has generated for the company and how much you have received."

Vincent told his assistant, "Escort this man out."

"Yes." The assistant quickly approached. "Please leave."

Justin found it amusing. "This is the Flynn Group, not your clinic."

Vincent's eyes had a sinister glint, completely different from the doctor who treated patients. His current goal was clear: to become the CEO of the Flynn Group and ensure Malcolm could never return.

With Malcolm detained, many things were out of his control. As long as Vincent came up with other plans, Malcolm's fate would be sealed.

Vincent said, "Justin, let me remind you, this is the Flynn Group, our family's business. You're just my brother's assistant. My brother is under investigation, and your job is to cooperate with the company's arrangements."

Justin showed no fear, saying, "For me, I only follow Malcolm's orders. I'm still Malcolm's assistant, and we haven't received any notice from above about removing Malcolm. Even Aiden hasn't said anything. Vincent, you're just a shareholder of the Flynn Group. Don't you think your actions are excessive?"

Vincent's eyes were sharp. "We are all from the Flynn family. It's you who are being excessive. I'm at least a shareholder, and you're just an assistant. How dare you speak to me like this!"

Vincent didn't want to waste more words with Justin and directly addressed the shareholders.

Vincent uttered, "I believe you all know what to do. There's no need for me to say more. Let's start the vote."

The shareholders, already colluded with Vincent, naturally all voted for him.

Vincent's eyes gleamed with satisfaction. "Since the votes are in, I declare that Malcolm is no longer the CEO of the Flynn Group."

Justin, standing nearby, was furious but didn't care if Vincent would come after him later.

"Do you think following him will bring you the same profits as Malcolm? How much do you know about his abilities?"Justin asked.

The shareholders hesitated again. They did trust Malcolm's abilities. As for Vincent, although his abilities in this field weren't bad, he couldn't compare to Malcolm.

Seeing the hesitation, Vincent added, "We don't know when my brother will be released, whether the company will be found at fault, or who will take over. Do you understand the severity of the predicament the company is in right now?"
