Chapter 359 Watch Your Mouth

Natalie saw Harrison's business card, and her face suddenly changed, looking at Harrison in disbelief.

Natalie asked, "Are you the famous top lawyer, Harrison?"

Harrison still had a serious look on his face, and answered, "If you doubt my identity, you can search my information online. There should be my photos there. Even if my identity is fake, my appearance can't be fake. After all, I don't have time to undergo plastic surgery."

Others were just bystanders, and they all started searching for Harrison on their phones.

Reese wasn't in a hurry; the excitement always comes later.

When these female colleagues found out, they were shocked.

Somebody stated, "Oh my, what's going on? This Harrison is indeed a top lawyer in the industry, well-known, and he has never lost a lawsuit since he started working."

Someone praised, "So impressive! Not a single loss."

Another remarked, "Exactly, Harrison is now the most sought-after lawyer in the market, and he looks as young and handsome as in the photos."

One questioned, "The key is, how can such a capable man, a top lawyer in the industry, help Reese?"

Someone added, "Reese probably can't even afford someone else's appearance fee. For such a trivial matter, she called Harrison over, making a big deal out of it."

Sophia never expected that Reese would have the ability to invite Harrison.

Sophia actually sided with Reese because Reese was the only one who dared challenge these women. Sophia had never had that kind of fighting spirit but had always longed for it.

Suddenly, Sophia spoke up for Reese, "You don't have the ability to invite Harrison, but Reese does. What's there to be jealous of?"

Natalie found it amusing and poked Sophia's head with her finger.

Natalie scoffed, "Sophia, are you stupid, or is she stupid? Everyone here knows that Reese is just an ordinary employee who got in through the back door. Harrison is a well-known top lawyer in the industry. Unless someone powerful can afford him, do you think he's a charity?"

Reese didn't like Natalie pointing fingers at others.

Reese stated, "You don't need to worry about why I invited Harrison. What's important is the responsibility you're about to bear."

She said to Harrison, "You can start drafting the complaint now. You saw Natalie's behavior earlier."

Harrison respectfully replied to Reese, "All right, Reese."

Somebody said in disbelief, "Am I seeing things? Why is Harrison so polite to Reese?"

Another doubted, "Yeah, what makes Reese, a nobody, deserve such respect from a top lawyer?"

One added, "Are we blind? Could Reese be some important figure?"

Someone questioned, "What kind of important figure can she be? Previously, people were wary of her being the heiress of the Brooks family, but now the Brooks family has issued a statement saying Reese is not their biological daughter, and she doesn't even have a home now."

Upon hearing her colleagues' comments, a cold indifference swept over Reese, a glint of frost in her eyes.

Her colleagues were quickly silenced by Reese's gaze.

Harrison directly gave Natalie a final warning, "Natalie, in a couple of days, you will receive the documents."

"This..." Natalie could barely complete her words. She was completely dumbfounded this time, genuinely scared, saying, "Harrison, I..."

Harrison interrupted, "If you have any questions, talk to Reese."

After that, Harrison politely said to Reese, "Reese, I'll take my leave now."

Reese replied, "All right."

After Harrison left, Natalie was completely at a loss, surrounded by fear. If Reese really sued her, what would she do?

She wasn't married and didn't even have a boyfriend. If she were sued for defamation, even if she didn't go to jail, she would have to compensate the other party for their losses.

With her meager salary, she relied on credit cards for her luxury expenses. She was in debt, and now this, pushing her to the edge.

The more Natalie thought about it, the more frightened she became. Now, she didn't care about her pride and quickly softened her attitude towards Reese.

Natalie pleaded, "Reese, please, it's my fault, I shouldn't have said those things about you. Actually... it's not just me, everyone in the company talks like that, I just happened to voice it out."

Sophia looked down on Natalie's behavior. She sneered beside her.

Sophia said, "If you had known earlier, this wouldn't have happened. Those people had opinions about Reese, but they didn't speak out. You did. It's your own fault."

Natalie had no choice now. Seeing Reese's lack of response, she turned to Sophia for help.

Natalie urged, "Sophia, you have a good relationship with Reese. Can you help me plead with her not to sue me? Can you help me this time?"

Previously, Sophia thought Natalie was worthy of sympathy, considering they all worked in the same office. It would be awkward if things got too ugly and they had to face each other every day.

But with Natalie constantly causing trouble for Reese and often speaking ill of her behind her back, only without telling Reese, Sophia no longer felt sorry for her.

Sophia decisively refused her, "Sorry, I'm not Reese. If you have any issues, go talk to her."

At that moment, Justin walked in from outside. He had heard about the situation here and had just reported to Mr. Flynn.

Everyone knew Mr. Flynn. If anyone dared to provoke his wife, it would be a dead end. Unfortunately, someone was walking right into trouble, and Justin couldn't do anything about it.

Justin informed, "Natalie, Mr. Flynn has ordered that due to your disruption of company order, affecting the relationships between colleagues, and inciting conflicts among colleagues behind their backs, you don't need to come to the company tomorrow. Let this be a lesson to others."

Upon hearing this, Natalie's legs went weak, and she sat on the floor, her face full of shock and disbelief.

Justin glanced at everyone, and said, "What are you all still standing there for? Don't you have work to do? If anyone behaves like her in the future, as Mr. Flynn said, get out of the company. This is a workplace, not a café!"

After speaking, Justin left, leaving everyone in shock. They quickly returned to their positions, not daring to make a sound.

Those who usually supported Natalie now remained silent, no one dared to speak up for her.

Seeing everyone silent, Natalie felt completely shattered.

Natalie said in disbelief, "You all used to talk about Reese even worse than me. Why are you all silent now?"

Before, they didn't know Reese had such power. Now that they knew, wouldn't it be foolish to challenge her further?

Having one fool was enough; they didn't want to risk leaving the Flynn Group.

Reese watched Natalie screaming in the office like a shrew. Self-awareness is crucial for a person, especially knowing what they are doing.

People like Natalie, wherever they go, will be despised.

Reese returned to her work, not even bothering to look up. Even if Natalie was extremely dissatisfied with her, she didn't dare to cause trouble again.

In a few minutes, people started to drive Natalie away.

No matter how much Natalie caused a scene, she couldn't change the fact that she was about to be fired. However, after this incident, the office atmosphere seemed to improve significantly.

Reese knew that firing Natalie was definitely Malcolm's doing. Although she could handle it herself, having someone to deal with these unpleasant matters for her was quite enjoyable.

At least for now, she had someone standing in front of her to protect her, which was a good sign.
