Chapter 60 We Are Husband and Wife
Since she could remember, she has never been hit by anyone, especially in this manner. Is Malcolm going crazy?
Malcolm raised an eyebrow, finding it amusing, "I just gave you a light tap."
Reese was about to argue back when they heard a noise at the door.
"Malcolm, are you in here? I had the maid cook a bowl of soup."
Reese was still being held down by him and could only glare at him.
"Let me go quickly."
Seeing her so nervous, Malcolm suddenly became interested in teasing her.
"We're husband and wife, not having an affair. Are you afraid of someone seeing us?"
Seeing his slender eyes smiling like a fox, Reese knew he had something up his sleeve. She had never been this passive before, so that was simply impossible.
Her eyes were bright, sparkling with a glow, and she asked Malcolm again.
"So you want her to see, don't you?"
Malcolm raised an intrigued eyebrow, his voice slightly louder.
"Then I'll indulge you." But he would have to bear the consequences himself.
As soon as he finished speaking, Reese pushed herself up, smoothly turned around, and sat back on his lap, wrapping her arms around his neck and leaning in to kiss his lips.
Malcolm's brown eyes flashed with a moment of surprise.
"Well, I coming in."
Everly pushed open the door while holding the bowl of soup. When she looked up, she saw this embarrassing scene. Malcolm still sitting in the wheelchair, Reese sitting on his lap, her hands around his neck, and the two of them passionately kissing.
She was dumbfounded, her hand trembled and the bowl slipped from her hand, spilling onto the floor. She turned red with anger, walked over, and pulled Reese off Malcolm's lap.
"Malcolm, even when you're like this, you still let her seduce you!"
Everly raised her hand, intending to slap Reese, but Reese agilely evaded, causing Everly's hand to miss. She lost her balance and was about to crash into Malcolm.
But Malcolm was faster. With a swift movement of his wheelchair, he leaned to the side, and Everly fell onto the bed in an awkward position, her legs in the air.
Reese stood on the side, covering her mouth to hold back her laughter.
Everly struggled to sit up with a dignified but embarrassed expression. Seeing Reese laughing at her made her even more furious.
"You dare to laugh at me! Malcolm, don't you care at all?"
She grabbed Malcolm's arm and stomped her feet on the ground, her voice becoming coquettish and affected, which made Reese's skin crawl.
Damn it all.
With her own objectives accomplished, now Everly must have a good time bothering him.
Reese waved her hand at the helpless Malcolm, "Darling, I won't disturb you two in fostering your relationship."
She said that, like a triumphant fox, she even gave him an air kiss before taking the opportunity to slip away.
Malcolm wanted to call her back, but Reese had already disappeared.
He pushed Everly aside, "Stop it."
"Then tell me, why did that woman just kiss you? Doesn't she know about your condition? How dare she seduce you at a time like this."
"Everly!" Malcolm suddenly wore a stern face and spoke in a low voice, clearly unhappy.
Everly froze. Although she knew Malcolm was generally more gentle towards her and Alyssa, whenever she crossed his boundaries or stepped on his sensitive spots, he wouldn't let it slide.
She cowered in fear, shrinking her neck, "I'm just concerned about your health. Why are you angry with me? In the past, you never got angry at me for others."
"I've told you before, Reese is now my wife, which means she's your sister-in-law. Watch your words and show some respect, don't overstep."
He stared at Everly, his gaze deep and dark, lacking any hint of brightness.
Everly pouted, looking dissatisfied, "How is she even worthy?"
"If I hear similar words of you vilifying her again, then you'll face house rules punishment!"
The man's voice coldly interrupted Everly's words, freezing the air.
Everly's face turned pale, and she took a small step back, speaking with a trembling voice.
"You're punishing me for her sake?"
"She's my wife." One sentence summed it all up.
He actually admitted that this unpleasant girl was his wife.
She was unwilling to accept it and pointed at Reese, raising her voice, "When your legs get better, Grandpa will make her leave!"
Everyone knew that the mighty Flynn family would never truly let the daughter of a small family become Mrs. Flynn. Allowing her in was just a temporary strategy.
A coldness engulfed Malcolm's handsome face instantly, with raging anger visible in his eyes.
"Everly! Since she has married me, she is my legally wedded wife, even if my legs recover, I won't divorce her. If you say such things again in the future, don't blame me for disregarding our sibling relationship."
Everly was at the brink of madness but couldn't do anything to Reese. Malcolm was protecting her so fiercely that she couldn't even lay a finger on her.
In the end, all she could do was stomp her foot in discontent.
"Grandpa won't allow you to keep her."
Everly stormed out in anger, and the room gradually quieted down. Reese leisurely played with her own hair.
"I didn't expect your sister to be so deeply in love with you."
The gloomy expression on his face vanished without a trace when facing Reese, and his lips curved into a slightly joyful smile.
"Is my beloved wife jealous?"
"What's there to be jealous of? Only a boring woman would be jealous because for a man."
She joined the Flynn family not to be jealous of these little girls. She would rather spend her time buying stocks and making money. After all, money would always accompany her, as for men, they were useless.
Malcolm wasn't affected at all. His slender fingertips lightly grazed his lips, wanting more.
"The kiss just now was good. Can you give me another one?"
Reese suddenly had the urge to punch someone.
"Don't even think about it!"
With those words, she turned around, opened the door, and walked out. Malcolm's eyes and eyebrows were filled with a smiling expression. How could he enjoy seeing her wife angry so much?
She looked good no matter what.
Throughout the journey, Reese couldn't help but think of Malcolm's seductive appearance, coupled with his high attractiveness. It was really tempting, and if she couldn't control herself, she might not be able to escape a calamity.

"Yes, what can I help you with?" Reese tore open the coffee sachet and poured it into her cup.
Lilly didn't expect Reese to be so indifferent to her. Today, she came here and all the other employees were enthusiastic and welcoming, but this girl, a new employee, didn't even give her a proper look.
She felt a bit unfair in her heart and decided to reveal her true identity to gain a bit more respect from her.
