Chapter 600 Dare to Touch My Wife
"Yeah." Of course, she wanted to know about herself.
Sebastian raised an eyebrow. "Buy me dinner and I'll spill."
Alyssa felt like she was walking right into Sebastian's trap. "Then I don't wanna hear it."
"I can treat you a meal. By the time you drop me off, you probably won't have anything to eat when you get back." Sebastian was hell-bent on getting Alyssa to treat him today.
Alyssa checked the time. It was about that time. The Flynns never kept food at home; they mostly ate out.
Since someone was offering her a meal, it wasn't a bad deal. "Alright, but I get to pick the place."
"No problem." Sebastian agreed without a hitch.
They hit up a crawfish restaurant that Alyssa was crazy about. As they got close to the entrance, Alyssa gave Sebastian a heads-up. "Just so you know, the food here is super spicy. Can you handle it?"
Sebastian brushed it off, thinking it was just crawfish—how bad could it be?
He smirked confidently, "If you can handle it, so can I."
Alyssa shrugged, laughing to herself. "We'll see about that."
Once inside, Alyssa ordered a massive plate of crawfish, and Sebastian's eyes widened. "Can you really eat all that?"
He looked at Alyssa, who was pretty slim. Last time they ate together, she didn't seem to eat much.
Alyssa sat down. "Why not? Besides, it's not just me; it's us."
Sebastian glanced around. The place was kinda basic, with average decor, probably an old spot.
He dusted off his pants, "Didn't expect Ms. Flynn to come to a place like this."
Alyssa snorted, "Why not? I'm not the type to hit up fancy restaurants. I don't care about the decor, but I'm super picky about food."
Sebastian liked this about her. He hated pretentious women who relied on men to go to high-end places they couldn't afford themselves.
He hadn't really hung out with Alyssa before and thought she was just a spoiled rich girl. Alyssa did surprise him.
"Yeah, I also dig places like this. It might be not so fancy, but the food is legit."
Talking about food and seeing that Sebastian, just like her, wasn't into fancy places but loved the grub at these ordinary spots, made Alyssa like him even more.
Alyssa's eyes lit up, "Right? I think it's awesome. Can't believe you like it as well."
"Who can say no to good food?"
They found a common ground and after munching for almost two hours, Alyssa noticed it was getting late and stood up. "It's getting dark. Let me drive you home."
"No need, I'll just grab a cab. No need for you to make another trip." Sebastian was worried something might happen since she was a girl after all.
"No, I promised to take you home, so I will." Saying this, Alyssa grabbed her car keys, took his wrist, and walked outside.
As they headed to the parking lot, they were blocked by a few guys who had clearly been drinking. The strong smell of booze made Alyssa frown.
"Isn't this the chick who played dirty in the last competition, making us look like fools? Our coach chewed us out, and now the internet's roasting us, saying we bully women!"
"Yeah, is this even a woman?"
"You're unlucky to run into us today. We gotta settle the score for last time. How dare you do that to us!"
Alyssa recognized these guys from the last competition.
She hated people who sucked at their game but blamed others for their problems.
She never backed down from bullies and glared at them. "You suck. You insulted our team members during the competition and spiked our coffee with laxatives."
If it weren't for so many people being around that day, she would've slapped these jerks. With such poor character, they didn't deserve to form a team.
Among them, a guy in the red hoodie, with curly hair, drunkenly pointed at Alyssa. "So what? It's your fault for being stupid! But you do have some looks. How about this? Have a few drinks with us and we'll let it go?"
Alyssa, always proud and disgusted by these people, would never agree.
She gave him a disdainful look, "You wish!"
The guy in the red hoodie instantly got pissed, clenching his fist and ready to punch Alyssa in the face, but Sebastian grabbed his wrist.
Sebastian's face was dark, his brows furrowed, exuding a fierce aura. "Hitting a woman? You're a disgrace to men!"
The guy in the red hoodie, his wrist tightly held by Sebastian, kicked at his stomach.
The guy in red hoodie crumpled up on the ground, groaning in pain. "It hurts."
Seeing the guy in the red hoodie suffer, Alyssa couldn't help but say, "You asked for it!"
People who couldn't even talk properly deserved to be hit.
Seeing their buddy get hit, the others who were also drunk didn't stay idle. "You dare hit my bro? Let's see how we deal with you today!"
Saying this, the others surrounded Sebastian. Alyssa, never having seen such a scene, looked at them nervously. "What are you doing? This is a public place. If you dare mess around, I'll call the cops right now."
The guys exchanged glances and suddenly burst into laughter.
"Is this girl a bit dumb? Sure, call the cops. Let's see if you can call them here before we send this guy to the hospital!"
"But these two might be a couple."
"Then this guy has no taste, choosing such a fierce girl as his girlfriend."
Sebastian's face darkened, "You're wrong. She's not my girlfriend."
"Not even your girlfriend? Look, he doesn't even want you as his girlfriend. Why don't you come with us? We'll treat you well."
Saying this, one of them reached out to touch Alyssa. Sebastian's eyes turned cold and he grabbed the guy's arm, pulling and kicking, resulting in the sound of bones breaking and the guy's screams.
Sebastian sneered, "I forgot to mention, she's my wife."
So, if they wanted to mess with his wife, they'd have to see if they had the guts.
Someone cursed, "You dare mess with us! Get him!"
