Chapter 126 Abandoned Again

"That's Anna, Mr. Russell's fiancée. He was supposed to propose a few days ago, but it never happened!"

"Did Mr. Russell cheat? Didn't you hear her? He got seduced and had an affair at the hospital."

"Seriously?"

"If my fiancée was like her, I'd cheat too."

"Do you think she might've gone crazy from trauma?"

"Who knows? Someone online said she killed Mr. Russell's ex-wife. Maybe she's got some serious mental issues. I'm staying far away from her."

As soon as Anna's identity was revealed, everyone started giving her weird looks. Her madness and despair became the hot gossip.

"What are you all staring at? I didn't kill Emma!" Anna yelled, furious.

But no one cared about her defense; they were even more freaked out.

The security guards dragged her away, her screams echoing down the hallway. Patients woke up, peeking out of their rooms to see what was going on.

No matter how much of a scene Anna made, George and Isabella never showed up.

"Let me in!" Her voice echoed, but the security guards kicked her out of the hospital without mercy.

The cloak of night enveloped the city, the dim glow of streetlights casting long shadows. Anna, disheveled and frantic, stood at the entrance. Her voice, raw and relentless, sliced through the quiet night, drawing stares from passersby.

"Isabella, you bitch! Think kicking me out will make me give up? You'll always be the loser!"

Just then, Emma walked out of the hospital. She looked at Anna with pity. "Ms. Stuart, calm down."

"I can't calm down!" Anna lost it and lunged at Emma.

Emma didn't back down. She shoved Anna hard, sending her to the ground.

"How dare you!" Anna clutched her wrist in pain, roaring at Emma with pure hatred.

"You're just a lunatic," Emma said coldly.

"You bitch, how dare you hit me! I won't let you get away with this!" Anna struggled on the ground.

Passersby stopped, whispering and curious.

"What are you all looking at? Get lost!" Anna shouted, but they just got more curious.

"Anna, calm down. If you keep cursing, I won't tell you where George is."

"You wouldn't dare."

"George got drunk and called me, not you. You should know what that means. Are you still fooling yourself?"

"I don't believe it!"

"Believe it or not, he's at Mystic Moonlight Bar. Go find him." With that, Emma turned and left.

She was going home to be with Seraphine and would never set foot in that wretched Mystic Moonlight Bar again that was a place steeped in bitter memories for her. Three years ago, Anna tricked Emma into thinking Douglas was seriously ill, forcing Emma to work at the bar to make money. That's where she met George, who humiliated her every chance he got.

Emma would never forget that place. If Ethan hadn't paid off her broken liquor debt, she would've been in debt forever.

Anna wasn't sure if Emma was telling the truth, but she had to try.

She had put a tracking system on George's phone before, but George figured it out, got a new phone, and never let Anna near it again.

So, Anna lost track of George. If he hadn't been so careful, she wouldn't have caused a scene at the hospital.

The tracking system had been on George's phone for ages, and he never cared. Now, thanks to Isabella, he wouldn't let Anna know where he was.

When Anna got to George's private booth at the bar, Joshua had already given up. He watched George down drink after drink.

The bar's lights flashed, and the music was deafening. George was so drunk, the world was spinning.

Joshua wanted to call for help, but George wouldn't let him. He could only wait for someone to show up.

Just then, the booth door opened, and Anna walked in. Joshua saw her as a savior. "Ms. Stuart, please help. Mr. Russell's had too much. Get him to go home!"

"Okay. George, don't worry. I'm here to take you home," Anna said gently.

In his drunken state, George mistook Anna for Emma. A wave of warmth surged through him, and he held her tightly, whispering, "I've always wanted to tell you, I like you."

Anna felt a surge of joy, but George's next words shattered her fantasy. "Emma."

"That bitch again!" Anna was so angry she wanted to push George away, but then she thought about seizing this chance to sleep with him and get pregnant. Then they'd have to get married!

With that in mind, Anna suppressed her anger.

But when George wrapped his arms around Anna, he suddenly realized the scent was wrong! She wasn't Emma!

George sobered up fast. His eyes fixed on Anna's face, and anger and disappointment surged through him. He pushed her away forcefully, his voice cold and filled with disgust. "You're not Emma! Who are you? Get away from me!"

Anna stumbled back. "George, how can you treat me like this!"

"You're not Emma. Get away from me!" George's voice cut through Anna's heart. At that moment, his heart was filled with longing for Emma and disgust for Anna.

He turned and ran towards the bar's entrance without hesitation, only thinking about finding Emma. The bar's door slammed shut behind him, leaving Anna standing alone.

She had been abandoned by George once again!
