Chapter 630 Congratulations

As the tension in the room escalated, George's face darkened. "Mom, if you're here to cause trouble, then please leave."

Scarlett looked at George in disbelief. "You're kicking me out for this, Emma?"

Jack quickly grabbed Scarlett's arm. "Alright, alright, the pastor's waiting. Let's just get on with the ceremony."

Scarlett shook off Jack's hand and shot Wanda a fierce glare. "We'll see about this!" She turned to leave.

At this critical moment, Michael, seated elegantly in the last row of the church, crossed his legs and gently swirled his champagne glass. Dressed in a perfectly tailored dark gray suit, his eyes behind gold-rimmed glasses sparkled with amusement as he watched the drama unfold, a scene he had orchestrated.

As Scarlett stormed off, Michael's lips curled into a pleased smile. He set down his glass and stood up, walking towards the couple.

"Congrats, George," Michael's voice was smooth, with an undertone only Wanda could decipher. He extended his hand to George, a perfect smile on his face. "You finally got what you wanted."

Despite his pounding headache, George forced a handshake. "Thanks."

Michael's gaze shifted to Wanda—no, now she was "Emma." His eyes lingered on her face for a few seconds, filled with a mix of admiration and amusement. "The bride looks stunning today."

Wanda's heart skipped a beat under his gaze, but she quickly composed herself and gave a shy smile. "Thank you, Uncle Michael."

The title deepened the smile in Michael's eyes. He leaned in slightly, speaking in a voice only the three of them could hear. "Well done, Wanda."

Wanda's pupils contracted sharply. He dared to call her by her real name in such a setting! But George, preoccupied with his headache, didn't seem to catch it and just rubbed his temples.

Michael straightened up and pulled a small velvet box from his suit pocket. "A little something to wish you a happy marriage."

He opened the box to reveal a pair of black diamond cufflinks, gleaming coldly under the light. Wanda recognized them immediately as one of Michael's most prized possessions.

"This is too much," she feigned reluctance.

Michael, however, pressed the box into George's hand. "Take it, as a token of my blessing for your love." He gave Wanda a meaningful look. "I hope you two stay as loving as you are now, forever."

To Wanda, his words were a clear warning to play her role as "George's wife" properly and not cause any more trouble.

Michael stepped back and raised his champagne glass, his voice loud enough for the nearby guests to hear. "Let's all toast to the happy couple! May they have a long and blissful marriage!"

Despite their earlier confusion, the guests raised their glasses in congratulations, and the church's atmosphere returned to one of celebration.

Michael took a sip of champagne, his eyes narrowing slightly behind his glasses. He looked at the "newlyweds" before him, already planning his next move. Once the wedding was over, he could rightfully take Emma back to his side.

After all, she was now "single."

The thought almost made him laugh out loud. He was the true winner of this game.

But just as Michael was basking in his triumph, the church doors suddenly burst open, and an unexpected figure appeared at the entrance.

Sophia stood there, pale-faced, holding an unconscious Lucas. "George! Lucas's condition has worsened! How can you think about getting married?"

The room erupted in shock. Wanda's face turned ashen; she never expected Sophia to crash the wedding with Lucas in her arms.

George was the first to rush over. "What's wrong with Lucas?"

Tears streamed down Sophia's face. "He's been unconscious since last night. The doctor said it's drug poisoning!" She glared at Wanda. "If it weren't for you, he wouldn't have missed his treatment!"

The guests began to murmur, their pointed stares making Wanda's skin crawl. She forced herself to stay calm and stepped forward. "Mom, don't get upset. I'll go to the hospital with you."

"Don't call me Mom!" Sophia suddenly shouted. "You're not my daughter!"

The words hit like a thunderclap, silencing the room. Wanda's pupils shrank. Had she been found out?

George stared at Sophia in shock. "What are you saying?"

Sophia, tears streaming down her face, held Lucas tightly. "George, she's not Emma! I know my daughter! This woman is an impostor!"

Scarlett was the first to react. She quickly stepped forward and grabbed Wanda's wrist. "Who are you really?"

Wanda panicked and struggled desperately. "Let go of me! I am Emma!"

"Really?" Scarlett sneered and suddenly yanked down the back of Wanda's wedding dress, exposing her lower back.

"How dare you!" Wanda screamed, pulling her dress back up.

"Emma has a butterfly tattoo on her lower back. Why don't you?"

The room was in an uproar. George's face turned ashen, and he grabbed Wanda's shoulders. "Who are you? Where is Emma?"

Realizing the game was up, Wanda burst into maniacal laughter. "You just figured it out? Too late! Emma's been dead for a long time! I threw her into the sea to feed the fish!"

The revelation hit George like a sledgehammer. Memories flashed before his eyes—seashells on the beach, the sweetness of cotton candy, and that heart-wrenching embrace.

"Emma," he murmured, his headache intensifying.

Wanda took advantage of the chaos to break free and run. But she only made it a few steps before security tackled her to the ground.

"Call the police!" Jack shouted. "Arrest this murderer!"

The scene descended into chaos. Sophia collapsed to the ground with Lucas, sobbing uncontrollably. George fell to his knees, clutching his head in agony.

"Emma. My daughter," Sophia's voice trembled, her eyes red with tears. "Where did you go?"

If it weren't for Lucas insisting that the woman wasn't his mother, Sophia wouldn't have barged in.

Who could have imagined that Emma had been replaced?

Where was the real Emma?

The church was in disarray, guests scattering in panic. Wanda was pinned to the ground by security, her meticulously styled hair in disarray, her wedding dress covered in dust, her makeup smeared from tears, looking nothing like the elegant bride she had been.

"Let me go! Do you know who I am?" Wanda screamed hysterically, struggling wildly.
