Chapter 388 Bar

Jack's anger flared up the moment Scarlett gave him the cold shoulder.

"I'm done with you!"

He quickly called up a few of his buddies. "We're hitting the town tonight! Usual spot!"

In the crowded bar, neon lights flickered and the music pounded. Jack raised his hand and shouted, "Tonight's on me!"

His announcement turned heads. His friends exchanged glances, smirking. Even though Jack's situation wasn't what it used to be, his partying skills were still top-notch, keeping his fame alive among his crew.

"Order whatever you want!" He ignored the stares, flashing a confident grin. "I earned this cash, and I'm blowing it all tonight! How dare anyone challenge me?" He spoke like he was still the big shot of the Russell family.

After a few rounds, the vibe got wilder, and Jack drank more recklessly. He started throwing money around, handing out cash to every table and every woman who toasted him.

"I want everyone to see I don't need the Russell family!" He yelled, trying to reclaim his status through this wild display.

Every bold statement he made was met with cheers, but his friends were secretly mocking him.

"Jack's still generous!" One friend laughed, shaking his head behind Jack's back.

"Yeah, blowing money like there's no tomorrow, real impressive!" Another friend added with a sneer.

They all knew that while they pretended to have fun with Jack, they actually looked down on him for his reckless lifestyle.

"You're really generous tonight!" Despite their inner contempt, they kept flattering him, enjoying the free drinks. As long as Jack was paying, they were happy to tag along.

Where Jack would get more money after this, they didn't care.

These days, who really cared about anyone else's fate?

So, surrounded by booze and fake praise, Jack naively basked in his own revelry, clueless about his friends' true feelings.

He wandered over to the bar, where the bartender gave him a once-over. Behind him, a few beautiful women whispered, "Check out that guy, he's really throwing money around."

One of the women, with a knockout figure, smiled slyly, her eyes gleaming with mischief.

She had already decided to seduce this foolish yet wealthy Jack.

"Are you alone, sir?" She approached him with a seductive tone, lightly teasing Jack's heart.

Jack looked up and saw Bianca's alluring face, feeling a rush of excitement. Come, have a drink with me!" He grinned.

"Of course! I love drinking with handsome guys!" Bianca responded happily, her big, sparkling eyes filled with a peculiar light. She poured Jack a full glass of liquor, the glass shimmering enticingly under the bar's lights.

As time passed, Bianca's enthusiasm for Jack became more apparent. She kept toasting him, subtly leaning closer, occasionally touching his arm shyly.

Jack was completely absorbed in the moment, forgetting all his fatigue and troubles. He started spending money lavishly, even handing out cash to the women around him, soaking up the attention.

Meanwhile, the cunning glint in Bianca's eyes grew sharper, and her accomplices silently watched, waiting for the perfect moment.

"Tonight's on me, enjoy yourselves!" Jack shouted wildly, wanting everyone to know just how wealthy he was.

The girls around him started to gather, vying for his attention, whispering sweet nothings in his ear, making him lose his senses.

"Make sure you finish this drink!" Bianca handed him another special cocktail, her smile sly. Jack downed it without hesitation, oblivious to its hidden secret.

As the night wore on, the bar's atmosphere grew even more electric, the music's rhythm pounding. Jack drank more and more, becoming completely hammered, while Bianca seized the moment. "How about we continue this at my place?" she suggested.

Under the influence of alcohol, Jack nodded eagerly, thrilled to have a beauty accompany him.

Bianca helped the drunken Jack into the hotel lobby. The front desk staff glanced up, their expression indifferent, as if watching a rerun of a movie.

"Another pair," the front desk staff silently noted, their hands moving swiftly. Such drunken couples were a common sight for the night shift staff.

"Room, please," Bianca said casually, winking at the front desk.

The front desk handed over the registration form skillfully. "King bed?"

"King bed," Bianca replied with a smile, already rummaging through Jack's pockets for his ID. He leaned limply against her, completely unaware.

The front desk processed the check-in quickly, not even bothering to give an extra glance.

They had seen this scene many times; it was nothing new.

Except, usually, it was the woman who was this drunk, rarely a man.

Would he even be able to get an erection?

Jack certainly couldn't get an erection.

Bianca helped Jack into the room, eagerly starting to search for his valuables. But after checking all his pockets and bags, her face grew increasingly grim—Jack didn't have much money on him! His extravagant display at the bar was all a facade.

"Damn it!" Bianca cursed, throwing Jack onto the bed angrily.

At that moment, Jack groggily woke up, seeing Bianca, a lecherous gleam in his eyes. "Bianca," he slurred, "come on!"

Bianca kicked him away. "Get lost!"

Jack, mistaking it for some kind of playful game, became even more excited and lunged at her again. "Stop playing, I'll show you something better."

Just then, the door was violently kicked open, and several burly men stormed into the room. The leader, a man in his forties with bulging muscles and a snake tattoo on his neck, had a fierce, oppressive look in his eyes.

"Found you!" The man roared, "Caught in the act!"

Bianca immediately put on a panicked look, instinctively shrinking into the corner, looking pitiful. Jack, still drunk, was confused, blinking blankly.

"Who are you guys?" Jack mumbled, his voice slurred.

One of the men stepped forward, grabbing Jack's collar and nearly shouting, "I'm Bianca's man! What are you doing? How dare you cheat on me behind my back!"
