Chapter 269 Biological Daughter

Anna lunged forward, clamping her hand over Olivia's mouth. "Mom, shut up! Are you trying to get me killed?"

But no matter how hard Anna tried to stop her, Olivia's words had already been spoken, and there was no taking them back.

Henry and Sophia, standing in the hospital room, heard everything loud and clear.

So that's why Anna had plastic surgery, why she didn't look like Sophia, why she was always scheming to steal their wealth. The truth was, Anna wasn't their child at all.

Anna was a fraud.

Sophia felt a metallic taste in her throat, and blood spurted from her mouth again, splattering the floor.

Henry gently wiped the blood from Sophia's lips, his heart aching for her. They clung to each other, both devastated.

But they couldn't understand—if Anna wasn't their biological daughter, then what about the DNA test?

Anna must know their real daughter!

With this realization, they found new resolve.

Henry called out, "Patrick, get in here."

A burly bodyguard entered the room. "Mr. Stuart, what's the matter?"

Henry said seriously, "Get some more men and bring those three people outside in here."

"Yes, Mr. Stuart."

Before Patrick could make the call, several bodyguards in different uniforms entered the room, forming two lines. Emma walked in between them, smiling. "Need some help? I brought plenty of people."

"Thanks, Ms. Taylor," Henry replied.

Sophia remained silent, her feelings toward Isabella complicated. She used to purely dislike her, thinking she had stolen George, Anna's love. But after getting to know Isabella, she realized she wasn't so bad. Still, because of Anna's strained relationship with Isabella, Sophia couldn't get too close to her.

Now, after everything, Sophia felt a deep mix of gratitude and guilt knowing that Isabella had donated blood to save her.

Sophia deeply regretted not believing Isabella's repeated warnings about Anna's true identity.

If only she had trusted Isabella a bit more, would things have turned out differently?

Sophia couldn't help but wonder if her prejudice against Emma, who looked just like Isabella, had also been manipulated by Anna.

Emma, unaware of Sophia's inner turmoil, was simply there for the drama. She feared Henry's bodyguards might be too slow, allowing Jerry and Olivia to escape, so she offered her own men.

Today, Emma was determined to reveal Anna's true colors to Sophia and Henry.

She had waited too long for this moment.

As Emma's bodyguards surrounded them, Jerry and Olivia, who were clueless about what was happening, stood stunned with Anna.

However, Anna knew she was about to lose the Stuart family's support.

The door to the hospital room opened again, and a team of burly bodyguards escorted the three inside. They were forced to the ground, and the atmosphere in the room grew tense and oppressive.

Jerry, his face twisted with rage, struggled to stand. "How dare you treat us like this! Let me go!" His voice was defiant and angry, but the bodyguards mercilessly pinned him down.

"Don't move!" one of the bodyguards barked coldly, delivering a heavy punch to Jerry's gut. Jerry groaned in pain, collapsing to the floor, his face a mix of despair and fury.

Olivia wept silently, filled with fear and anxiety. She knew how dangerous the situation was for them.

"Pull up Anna's shirt," Sophia commanded from the side of the room, her voice cold and authoritative, leaving no room for disobedience. The bodyguards immediately complied.

They pulled up Anna's shirt, exposing her waist. Sophia's eyes bore into Anna's skin.

"Don't look!" Anna's voice trembled with fear as she tried to cover herself, but the bodyguards held her firmly in place.

Sophia scrutinized the area, noticing that the birthmark, which should have been prominent, was barely visible.

"You've been lying to me!" Sophia's voice was filled with anger, her eyes wide with disbelief. She finally understood that the mark on Anna's waist was a tattoo, meant to deceive her.

"Yeah, I lied to you!" Anna dropped the pretense. She was never Sophia's daughter. If it weren't for the money, who would want to be her daughter?

Every day, Sophia controlled her, forcing her to study design and learn about jewelry, even restricting her from going out.

She had long grown tired of such a stifling life!

"Where is my daughter?" Sophia screamed.

"Her?" Anna glanced at Emma. "She's been dead for a long time! You'll never see her again! Here's a little secret: you tortured her to death with your own hands!"

Anna's voice was like a devil's whisper, and Sophia felt as if her heart was being torn apart.

At that moment, everything clicked for Sophia.

The necklace that had fallen from Emma, which Anna had taken as proof of identity; Emma's natural design talent, dismissed because of Anna's slander; the constant conflict between Anna and Emma, despite being sisters.

It all made sense now—Emma was their real daughter.

No wonder Anna never allowed them to get close to Emma.

No wonder they felt an inexplicable connection when they first met Emma.

No wonder Anna could produce a convincing DNA test—she used Emma's belongings for it!

"Curious about who your real daughter is? If you do, send me abroad. Otherwise, you'll never find out!" Anna continued to threaten through gritted teeth.

"Anna, there's no need for this charade. I already know who my daughter is." Sophia said in complete despair. "You're right; I was one of the people responsible for her death. I don't deserve to be a mother."

"Emily!" Another mouthful of blood splattered on the floor, and Sophia's eyes finally closed.

"Mom!"

A soft voice called out in Sophia's ear, and she managed a faint smile.

Sophia thought, 'Emily, you won't be alone. I'm coming to join you.'
