Chapter 198 Aphrodisiac
"I said I don't want to drink." George remained indifferent.
Anna showed a sad expression. "George, I know you hate me because of what happened recently. I know I'm not worthy of you anymore, but we did love each other once, and we have Lucas. You just drink this last glass of wine with me, and I won't bother you anymore, okay?" her eyes filled with tears.
"Fine, I'll drink it. I hope you keep your promise." George finally took the glass and drank it in one gulp.
As the wine entered his mouth, Anna quietly observed George, silently praying that the drug would work as she hoped.
Soon, George's expression began to look slightly dazed, his eyes showing a dreamy glow.
He suddenly looked at Anna and smiled, with a sense of intimacy.
"Emily, is that you?" he asked softly, his tone carrying a hint of tenderness, seemingly the drug's effect.
He began to approach her actively, his hot hand caressing Anna's cool cheek.
"Emily, you look so beautiful tonight," he said softly as if he had forgotten his previous coldness.
Anna felt a wave of sweetness in her heart, as if this was everything she had ever dreamed of.
"George, let's go for a walk outside," Anna suggested.
But George was not satisfied. He used his slightly rough fingertips to stroke Anna's smooth earlobe, lowering his head, his lips brushing against Anna's cheek.
"Outside? I have a better place..." Anna gently took George's hand and led him to a quiet guest room in the estate.
As they entered the guest room, Anna's heart raced. The soft lighting in the room created a warm and intimate atmosphere. She gently closed the door and turned to George.
"George..." she called softly, her voice tinged with a hint of seduction.
George's gaze wandered over her, as if searching for something. His eyes were filled with a dazed longing, and he moved instinctively closer to Anna. She could feel the warmth emanating from him, the intimacy she had longed for.
"I've been waiting for you all this time." Anna unbuttoned George's shirt, pulling his tie to bring him closer.
"Waiting for me?" George's voice was deep, tinged with a hint of confusion and intoxication. His fingers lightly brushed Anna's arm, sending a warm current through her.
"Yes, I've been waiting for you to fall in love with me." Anna smiled slightly.
"I've been in love with you for a long time." George cupped Anna's chin, staring obsessively at her red lips.
"Me too." Anna's voice was as sweet as honey. She gently took George's hand, slowly guiding him to sit on the edge of the bed.
"You're so beautiful." George's gaze lingered on Anna's face, as if trying to recall something.
"Thank you, George." Anna felt a surge of satisfaction, knowing her plan was going as intended.
She pushed George onto the bed, straddling his legs, and provocatively rubbed his penis with one finger.
"Emily..." George suddenly grabbed Anna's hand, calling out a name that didn't belong to the woman in front of him.
But Anna had already claimed that name for herself.
She didn’t care what George called. The person sitting in George's lap now was her, and the one about to make love to him was also her. That was enough.
"I'm here, George." Anna gently cupped George's face, slowly leaning in to touch his lips with hers.
Just as she was about to move closer, the door to the room suddenly opened, and a waiter hurried in.
"Sorry!" The waiter's voice carried a hint of false apology, but his actions were clumsy. He deliberately quickened his pace, causing the tray of drinks to wobble precariously, as if it might spill at any moment.
As Anna and George's attention was drawn to him, the waiter intentionally tilted a glass of water towards George, the liquid instantly soaking him.
George's white shirt was immediately drenched, clinging to his body and making him look particularly disheveled.
"Sorry! It's all my fault!" The waiter hastily apologized, but couldn't hide the smug look on his face.
The sudden splash of cold water jolted George awake, his eyes flashing with anger and disgust. He looked up at Anna, a hint of suspicion in his expression.
By now, he understood everything.
It must have been Anna who drugged him, trying to take advantage of him so that he would have to take responsibility for her.
Anna's image in his mind grew even worse. How could Anna have such a drug? If she could use it on him this time, did that mean she had used it on him before?
Just like that night he accidentally had sex with Emma. Initially, he always thought she had set him up, so he humiliated her to the extreme. But in all these years of marriage, he had never seen Emma use such a drug again. Instead, it was Anna who had the same drug.
George still remembered the feeling in his body. A few years ago, he had been just as out of control, leading to a one-night stand with Emma.
Emma had repeatedly mentioned she didn't drug George, and she was a victim too.
But George didn't believe her and kept hurting her.
How much pain had he caused Emma!
Of course, it was also Anna who kept saying that Emma had seduced him on purpose. Why hadn't he investigated back then and just blindly believed Anna's lies!
Thinking of this, George became even colder towards Anna.
"What are you doing here?" George's voice was cold, devoid of any warmth.
Anna's heart tightened, realizing the shift in the situation. She forced a smile, "George, I just wanted to talk to you."
"I have nothing to talk about with you." George's attitude became resolute. Anna's presence made him feel repulsed.
"But we have many things to resolve between us." She tried to persuade him, but inwardly she was anxious.
"There is nothing to talk about." George's voice was low, carrying a hint of disdain.
"George, I..." Anna's words were cut off as George stood up.
"You need to leave."
"Why?" Anna felt a wave of panic, trying to hold on.
The waiter, pretending to be concerned, asked, "Do you need my help? I can get you a towel." His tone carried a hint of mockery, as if deliberately deepening George's embarrassment.
"Get out!" George roared, his eyes flashing with displeasure, as if he found the waiter's presence intolerable.
The waiter quickly hid his smugness, turned and walked away. George also immediately left the room.
