Chapter 254 Revocation of Protection

"Hey, Mr. Grant, should I get a driver to take Mrs. Stuart home?" a young officer asked, his voice tinged with caution.

Dominic smirked and said, "Yeah, you make sure she gets home safe. She needs a good night's rest."

The officer nodded and quickly arranged for a driver. Sophia, sitting in the backseat, headed home slowly, but she couldn't shake the feeling of anxiety. Something about Dominic's behavior just felt off.

As Sophia's car disappeared into the night, Dominic's smile faded, replaced by a cold, ruthless look.

"Put Lyanna and Anna in the same cell," Dominic ordered, his voice dripping with authority. "Anna's protection is off the table."

He muttered to himself, "Anna might think she's in hell now. No, she hasn't seen the horrors of Lakeside Haven Women's Penitentiary yet. Since Sophia doesn't have good judgment, Anna will pay the price."

"Yes, Mr. Grant," the officers quickly moved to place Lyanna and Anna together at Lakeside Haven Women's Penitentiary.

A sinister grin spread across Dominic's face. He needed to vent, and Anna was the perfect target.

"No one at Lakeside Haven dares to defy me," Dominic's lips curled into a cruel smile. He was the puppet master, and everyone else were just pawns in his game.

Late at night, the prison corridors were eerily silent, with only the occasional sound of footsteps and the dull clang of iron doors. Lyanna was sound asleep in her cell, dreaming of Molly's adorable childhood.

But her peaceful dream was shattered by a rough shout.

"Lyanna! Wake up!" The guard's voice jolted Lyanna awake. She rubbed her eyes and saw the guard standing at the cell door, looking impatient.

"Where are you taking me?" Lyanna felt a pang of unease.

"Shut up and follow me!" the guard snapped, dragging Lyanna out without mercy. Knowing she couldn't resist, Lyanna obediently followed the guard through the dimly lit corridor.

'What is this about? Where is the guard taking me?' Lyanna wondered to herself.

The guard led her to an iron door. As soon as it opened, she saw the figure inside the cell—it was her enemy, Anna.

"It's you!" Lyanna's eyes flashed with anger and satisfaction.

She never expected to see Anna again.

"From now on, you'll be staying here," the guard said, stepping back and motioning for Lyanna to enter the cell.

Lyanna instinctively lunged at Anna. "You bitch!" Lyanna roared, her fist landing hard on Anna's face. Anna, caught off guard, stumbled back, her cheek instantly swelling.

"Lyanna? Why are you hitting me? What are you doing here?" Anna asked in terror, disbelief written all over her face.

She didn't understand. Wasn't Lyanna the housekeeper at The Stuart Villa?

Why was she in a cell?

And why did she attack her on sight?

"Why am I here? You dare ask?" Lyanna's fists continued to rain down on Anna, her anger and hatred blinding her to reason.

Anna tried to dodge, but Lyanna's attacks were relentless, like a storm she couldn't withstand.

Lyanna shoved Anna, causing her to crash into the cell wall. Pain surged through Anna's body, and a groan of agony escaped her lips.

"You bitch, it's because of you that Molly died! If you hadn't shown up and taken Molly's place, she wouldn't have died! You're a murderer!" Lyanna screamed, kicking and punching Anna without mercy.

Her heart was filled with hatred for Anna, as if she could blame Molly's death entirely on her.

"Molly wasn't killed by me! It was Emma! If you want revenge, go after her! Why are you coming after me?" Anna finally realized what was happening, panic rising within her. She tried to shield herself from Lyanna's blows, but it was futile.

Did Lyanna already know she was the real killer?

But Lyanna was just a housekeeper. What did Molly's death have to do with her?

"Emma will die eventually! And you won't live either!" Lyanna's voice was filled with madness. "Molly was happily living as the Stuart family's daughter, and you had to show up and ruin everything! If you had died sooner, Molly wouldn't have been in trouble!"

Her fists kept landing on Anna, as if she wanted to break her completely. A heavy punch to Anna's stomach made her double over in pain, clutching her abdomen and whimpering in agony.

"You made Molly suffer, so now you'll suffer too!" Lyanna kicked Anna's legs, causing her to lose balance and fall heavily to the ground, her face full of fear and despair.

"Please, Lyanna, stop hitting me!" Anna's face was streaked with tears and pain. She desperately tried to get up, only to be kicked back down by Lyanna, writhing in pain.

At that moment, the guard stood at the door, watching coldly. He didn't intervene immediately, just frowned slightly.

"Don't kill her, Lyanna!" he finally spoke, his tone dripping with disdain. "If she dies, I'll be in trouble."

A crazed look flashed in Lyanna's eyes. She understood the guard's meaning.

As long as she didn't kill Anna, she could torment her as much as she wanted.

It seemed the guard knew she hated Anna and had deliberately put them together so she could torture Anna. A cruel smile curved Lyanna's lips. Whoever made this decision must hate Anna too.

She would gladly accept this favor and thought, 'Rest assured, kind stranger, I will seize the opportunity to torment Anna thoroughly.'

With the guard's tacit approval, Lyanna's attacks on Anna grew even more frenzied.

She grabbed Anna's hair, yanking her up, and her fist landed heavily on Anna's face again.

Anna's face was covered in blood, her painful moans echoing in the guard's ears.

"Enough!" the guard finally decided to intervene. He stepped forward, forcibly pulling Lyanna away, and shouted angrily, "Didn't I tell you? No killing!"

"Sorry, got carried away," Lyanna sneered, apologizing.

Though the guard had stopped her, she felt no anger. The guard was right; she couldn't kill Anna. She needed to keep her alive, to play with her slowly.

Like a cat playing with a mouse, Lyanna would wear Anna down until she lost all hope and fight, then devour her bit by bit.
