Chapter 1011 Would You Rather Be Childish Or Foolish

"Yadriel, let her go," Joshua said as he returned from outside.
"You're going to go against his wishes again?" Yadriel frowned.
"I'll take responsibility for all of this, so let her out," Joshua said.
Yadriel pondered for a moment and frowned. However, he still stood aside.
Seeing this, his men also stood aside.
Waverly rushed out.
However, after Waverly got out, she had no idea where she should go.
The sound of gunshots had long disappeared and she was not familiar with the place. Even if she wanted to escape, how could Joshua let her go as she wished?
She had to calm down.
Although someone had just been killed, it was useless for her to check the victim's identity.
What Waverly should do at the moment was to tell Bellamy that Joseph was going to kill him in the cooking competition and to let him be wary of Joseph's conspiracy and stop him.
"What's wrong? Aren't you going out? Why aren't you leaving?" Joshua asked.
Waverly turned and walked towards the villa without saying a word.
Joshua held Waverly's hand and said, "No matter how tough one looks, they will also have their moments of weakness."
"That's right," Yadriel affirmed.
Waverly failed to understand their words. She looked at Yadriel coldly and arrogantly, "My heart is made of flesh and blood, but I don't feel any warmth from him. He's a cold-blooded animal. If you criticize me now, it's because your heart and eyes are blinded."
"You don't feel the warmth? You said you wanted the Thunder Gun, and he gave you his most precious Thunder Gun. When we were in Z Country, we could have killed Bellamy. Mr. Mccarthy cancelled his plans for you and let Bellamy go. When you wanted the car, he bought two of them for you without a word. You mentioned that you liked roses, and he planted a field of them for you by himself. So, is it that you're unable to feel his warmth, or are you just refusing to do so?" Joshua asked angrily.
"You've painted Joseph as a good man with an infatuation with me. Don't forget that he is going to marry Yasmine. If he really liked me, he would marry me instead."
"Did Bellamy marry you because he liked you?" Yadriel furiously asked.
Waverly was stunned and walked back inside.
Joshua followed, but Yadriel held onto his arm and said, "Don't say anything else. If Mr. Mccarthy finds out about what you've said, he'll definitely get angry. Forget it, she is heartless. Sooner or later, he will lose his patience and give up on her. Just let her do as she pleases."
Waverly frowned and looked at the two men behind her.
Did Joseph like her?
Five years ago, Joseph had confessed to her, but she had failed to believe him. She hadn't liked him back then as well. He had been her rival since childhood. Since she had been proposed to by the president of A Country, his sudden confession was as if he had been planning to bring her down.
She had reckoned that he couldn't bear to see her live a happy life, so he had deliberately pretended to like her.
Before the divorce, she had called Joseph and said that as long as he was willing, she would marry him.
She thought that it would ruin Joseph's marriage since her reputation was already in tatters. No matter where his reputation stood, she would tarnish it along.
Joseph couldn't ascend to the throne, so naturally, he failed to compare to Bellamy's power.
However, Joseph had refused her offer without a second thought.
The relationship between them was no longer like what it used to be.
She wasn't even related to the Mccarthy family.
Did Joseph like her?
No matter how she thought about it, it was impossible!
Since every room looked the same, she casually entered one of them. She sat on the couch and stared at the vase of flowers in a daze.
The door was pushed open.
Joseph walked in with a frown and asked, "Why are you in my room?"
Waverly was dumbfounded.
"I'm leaving now," she stood up and walked towards the door.
Joseph held her arm and looked at her earnestly, "What did you want to see me about?"
How could she tell him that she had only randomly entered a room? She had no idea that it was his bedroom.
"I heard gunshots," Waverly said.
"I fired them. What's wrong?" Joseph asked.
"Who did you kill?" Waverly asked worriedly.
"Bellamy, Yazoo, Hayley, Melinda, Yasmine and the rabbit that you saw on your way back today. We'll have the rabbit for breakfast tomorrow morning," he said in a casual tone.
As Waverly heard him speak, her heart jumped with fear.
However, the more she listened, the more she failed to think that he was being serious.
Bellamy was still in A Country. He had not yet ascended the throne, so there was no need for him to kill Yasmine or Melinda. She accused, "You're lying to me."
The corner of Joseph's mouth twitched, "It depends on whether you're a gullible person or not. You came to me because you wanted to ask me who I killed. Don't worry. I didn't kill anyone today, but I will do so the day after tomorrow. By the way, when Bellamy dies, are you going to commit suicide? When he falls dead, I will send you to see his body, watch you commit suicide, then send him back to A Country and bury you here. I've just asked someone to dig a hole here, not in the field of roses, but beside the toilet."
"You're so childish."
"At least I'm not foolish," Joseph replied firmly.
She wanted to leave his room, but as soon as she took a step forward, she was pulled back by him. He said domineeringly, "Since you're already here, you won't be able to leave."
He picked her up and laid her on the bed.
Waverly was unable to break free at all.
His actions towards her were of rage. He was not gentle at all and would not let her get up until she was badly worn out. He looked down at her and locked her in his arms. His eyes were deep and penetrating, seemingly staring into her soul.
Waverly looked at him. Due to the fact that she had struggled all the while, her face was covered with sweat. She did not relent, but chose to stare straight back at him.
Their battle of stares lasted an hour.
Waverly felt her body going numb as she continued to struggle.
Joseph's body reacted again. Without waiting for her permission nor consent, he took her again.
This time, he took a longer time than the last, so long that she no longer had any strength left to struggle against him.
The longer the time passed, the more the suffering intensified. Every sensation had become pure torture instead of pleasure.
"When will you finish?" Waverly finally asked angrily.
Joseph frowned, "I don't want this to end."
"If you continue to fight like this, your stamina will drain too quickly and you won't even have to wait until the day after tomorrow before you die at dawn," Waverly said sarcastically.
"Don't worry. My health is good. You're like a corpse, so I don't feel anything," said Joseph coldly.
If so, then he should have hooked up with Yasmine instead!
Before she could say that, Joseph lowered his head, kissed her on the lips, and her body was turned over.
Waverly got up in a hurry but was pushed down by him once again.
