Chapter 804 Just Let Nature Take Its Course

Time passed quickly when one was having fun, especially with their loved ones. In a blink of an eye, it was the following Monday.
Stella and Jasper went to the airport to pick up Micheal and his wife.
Their flight arrived in Seattle on time.
Micheal had two pieces of luggage with him, a big backpack and a big luggage bag, while his wife pushed the stroller with the child.
Stella waved at them.
Micheal raised a smile, but he was stunned when he saw Jasper standing next to Stella.
It had been a few years since he and Jasper had last seen each other. Jasper had left a deep impression on him back then even though he had only caught a glimpse of him. Jasper was still breathtakingly handsome.
Furthermore, time had been very kind to the man. It seemed that his appearance had not changed at all. His face had not aged.
Stepping forward, he greeted Jasper first, "Nice to meet you."
Jasper responded coldly.
"Micheal, let's get something to bite first," Stella said as she took the luggage from him.
Jasper didn't want her to hurt herself, so he took the luggage from her.
With empty hands, Micheal proceeded to help his wife with the stroller, "Jasmine is suffering from jet lag. She is having a headache now. I think it's better to let her rest for a while."
"Okay, let's head back first and drop off the luggage," Stella said.
Jasper then started the car.
Jasmine was having a headache. She rested while Stella helped Micheal to carry the child.
His child was two years old and he was able to speak a little. He was shy but very cute.
"Hi there, I'm Auntie Stella," Stella said, "I have some yummy candies here."
"Auntie Stella!" The little fellow shouted.
Stella had prepared a gift for the kid. She took out a lollipop and gave it to him.
"He loves candies the most. The candies are like his lifeline," Micheal said helplessly.
"This candy is made of milk powder, so it's not very sweet. It's suitable for kids and it is rich in calcium." Stella explained.
Micheal took a glance at his child. The child had the candy in his mouth and was eating very happily. "You are so attentive."
"I will bring you to your future restaurant after Jasmine is asleep. The business should be good during nighttime. It is very stable and profitable now. You don't need to worry too much. There is a dedicated person in charge. You only need to go and check the accounts at the end of each month. If the profits are good, you could give the employees bonuses. They will be very happy," Stella said.
"I'll manage the restaurant for you and send all the profits to you," Micheal said.
"That's not necessary. You know that I'm not short of money. I will need you to help me to take good care of my house, particularly my flowers and plants," Stella replied.
"No problem. Jasmine loves flowers and plants too."
"As for the clinic, there is a psychologist and a newly recruited assistant who is also a psychology graduate. The assistant, Archer, is also from A Country. Your psychological skills are better than mine, so I trust you'll do a better job than me," Stella said.
"How could I be better than you? Your hypnosis is the best in the industry, and mine is far from yours. Moreover, it depends very much on reputation. The better your reputation is, the more the patient trusts you. The more the patient trusts you, the more likely the patient will be cured. I will try my best."
"There are many people with psychological problems here. In A Country, many people would think that a person is a psycho if the person were to consult a psychologist. So, in order not to be ridiculed by others, many people will not consult a psychologist even when they have a mental condition."
"Many cities in A Country are living at a fast pace now. As a result, many people are affected by all sorts of psychological problems, especially those who are born in the 80s and 90s. However, their ways of thinking are usually more open, so most of them would be willing to consult a psychologist. Unlike the United States, where people would even consult a psychologist when they have a breakup. People in A Country will only see a psychologist when they have been diagnosed with severe depression. Otherwise, they will not seek help at all," Micheal added, letting out a sigh.
"So, do your job well here. As for your reputation, I just need to hype it up. I will write a recommendation letter for you and find several media friends to promote your name before I leave. I think it should not be a problem then."
"Stella, I will never forget your kindness. If you need help in the future, just come to me. I will do my best to help you," Micheal said gratefully.
Stella smiled and replied, "Okay."
They soon arrived home.
Micheal woke Jasmine up.
Stella carried the child and told them which room they would be staying in while Jasper helped to carry their luggage.
After dropping off their luggage, Micheal's wife went straight to bed.
Micheal went out after that.
"Will she be okay?" Stella asked.
"She has jet lag and is suffering from a severe headache. She will need to get some sleep first. I'll buy some bread for her when I come back later," Micheal replied and closed the door.
"Oh, there is water in the refrigerator. You could put it by her bedside, so she could drink it anytime," Stella reminded him.
"Okay, but give me a moment. I need to prepare some milk for my kid."
Stella watched as Micheal prepared the milk bottle for his child. She visualized Jasper doing the same in her mind.
"Did you also take care of our child like this when I was not around?" Stella asked Jasper, who was beside her.
"I don't have much time to take care of Sandro. My mother has been the one taking care of him. There's also the girl whom you left behind. Luckily, that girl also helped to take care of our child. Otherwise, my mother may not be able to handle it since she still needs to manage the company," Jasper explained.
"A girl?" She could not remember about such a person at all.
"She has been helping us to take care of Sandro at the base since he was born. She is a medical student and she has done a great job taking care of our child."
Stella nodded, but she still could not remember. Anyway, she was not in a hurry. She would meet her when she returned to A Country.
The milk was soon prepared. Micheal gave the milk to his child after testing the temperature.
His child was very well-behaved. He held his own milk bottle and began drinking.
Micheal put his child into the stroller and said to Stella, "Let's go."
Stella then brought Micheal to the seafood restaurant.
His child fell asleep while drinking his milk.
Fortunately, he brought the stroller with him so that his child could sleep in it.
Micheal covered the child with a blanket.
They were chatting while eating.
"Stella, do you want to recover your memories?" Micheal asked.
"Hmm..." Stella thought about it seriously. "I feel that my life right now is very good. I may not have my memories but I have Jasper to remind me. But it's good for me to recover my memories too. At least, I would be able to recognize everybody else. After all, they were all my past experiences. It's a shame to lose them. Just let nature take its course. Who knows, maybe one day, I'll be able to remember them again."
Micheal had something to say but he hesitated.
"What's wrong? Do you have something to say to me?" Stella noticed his hesitation.
Micheal just smiled lightly. He had chosen to keep it to himself after seeing that they were so happy.
Just as Stella said, it was better to let nature take its course.
