Chapter 927 Try Dying

Waverly clenched her fists, her whole body shivering. She looked at the door.
Hayley could save her this time, but could she save her forever?
The moment she returned to the Mccarthys, she was like a fish on a chopping board, and everyone wanted to slice her with a knife.
However, in the end, she couldn't put down her dignity as she thought she could. She didn't want to give her first to Joseph. However, Bellamy didn't want her first either.
Damp air blurred her eyes, and her eyelashes were covered with mist.
With his head propped up, Joseph leaned to one side and looked at her with a mocking smile, "Are you afraid, or do you not want to? Didn't you say that you are very determined? Waverly, you all bark but no bite!"
She did not speak. She took a deep breath and looked at him, "If I don't want and dare not do it, will you let me go?"
Joseph stroked her face and said, "I wasn't planning on letting you go ever since you plotted against me. Although Qianna is stupid, she is stubborn. I can't let you destroy my plan. I must have you tonight."
"Tonight?"
He put his hand on her lips, and his eyes were filled with an inexplicable color, "Yes."
She put her hand on his chest, panicking. Her fingers were shaking as she looked at the door.
"You'd better hope that your maid doesn't come in. Otherwise, she won't survive. The villa is surrounded by my men. No one will be able to leave here alive once I give an order," Joseph said firmly.
There was no way out.
There was once when she and Bellamy went out for an interview and they encountered attacks from terrorist organizations on the way over.
He shielded her under his arm and said to her with a smile, "Don't be afraid. As long as I live, I won't let you die. If I die, at least someone will die with you. No matter how difficult or dangerous it is, you don't have to be afraid. As long as your spirit lives on, you will die a glorious death. If your spirit is gone, you will be no different than a living corpse."
She always remembered the way he smiled that time; it was loving and gentle. It was as warm as the sunshine in winter, warming her everywhere through her heart.
During the five years with him, even though they had never slept together, it was still the five happiest years of her life.
She held on to those memories, hoping they could support her forever until her very last day. She was unafraid because her faith was not dead.
Joseph was rash and unforgiving as he thrust into her.
The pain was her only memory. It felt as though another sharp knife was twisted in her body, leaving countless knife marks in her heart.
At this moment, all she could think of was if only she had given it to Bellamy. However, Bellamy didn't want it.
In this life, she could not have the love of her life, nor could she have another person loving her. The only thing she had was her sincere love for Bellamy. No matter what, this love could not be given up. Otherwise, just like Bellamy said, she would be nothing but a walking corpse.
Tears still flowed down her cheeks. It was not because of the physical pain but the pain in her heart.
Joseph did not stop kissing away her tears. A strange emotion flashed in his eyes, but it was deeply hidden.
He soon came and got some on her body. Panting, he pinched her cheek and kissed her on the lips.
He would never tell her that she was his first as well, that his memories had returned to when they were younger.
Waverly was very beautiful even as a child. Although they were of different classes, they were in the same grade, and many people pursued her. One of them was a smart and gorgeous boy, and he was also in the top three of the grade. He asked her to go to a movie together, and she agreed. He didn't let her go. He was so angry that he broke his Grandpa's favorite vase. However, he blamed it on her, and she was wrongfully accused of smashing it.
Sure enough, she did not watch the movie, but her grandfather also abandoned her.
She hated him. This hatred was engraved in her bones, and he knew it.
Therefore, she ignored him when he proposed to marry her and married the President of A Country instead.
From that day on, he swore that he would be the President of M Country and show her just how wrong her choice was.
He went into the bathroom and came out after taking a bath. Waverly was still lying in bed, motionless, with her back to him, looking out of the window.
It was already dark outside.
He sat by the bed and said, "Get up, let's go for dinner."
Waverly looked out of the window and asked thoughtfully, "Are you still sleeping here tonight?"
The corners of Joseph's mouth curled up, "Do you want me to sleep with you?"
"Okay," Waverly answered. Her voice was as calm as still water.
"You know that I like to go against you. First, ask Hayley to buy you some ointment to ease the swelling. You should rest today. I'll come and see you in a few days," He said as he observed her reaction.
Her face remained expressionless. "I won't have dinner with you then. It hurts. I don't want to get up."
With a flash of emotion in his eyes, Joseph sat on the edge of the bed, "Let Hayley bring you some food then. It's not good for you if you don't eat. What are you going to use to fight against me if your body is unwell? Isn't that right, Waverly?"
Waverly looked at him, covered herself under her quilt, and sat up with a cold look in her eyes, "Do you think you get to decide everything?"
"Yes," Joseph said confidently.
Waverly chuckled and said, "Qianna seduced my ex-boyfriend and became my ex-boyfriend's wife. She is also very loyal to my ex-boyfriend. I want to try him. I want them to pay me back for whatever they owed me. I really want to see the look on Qianna's face when she catches me in bed with him."
A murderous look flashed across Joseph's eyes, and he grabbed Waverly's thin neck.
She struggled to catch her breath. Her lips turned purple, but her lips remained shut. She would never beg for mercy, even if she would die.
"If you dare cheat on me, I will let you die a gruesome death. Also, you love Bellamy. I will make him lose everything and imprison him for the rest of his life. He will live a life that he wished he was dead," Joseph warned her fiercely and loosened his grip.
Waverly fell on the bed, gasping, and glared at Joseph. When she looked into his red eyes, the corners of her mouth lifted.
She wanted to live and watch the day Joseph, that fiend, fell.
She wanted him to pay for the pain he caused her this day. If he dared to hurt Bellamy, even if it would cost her life, she would kill him.
"I'll wait and see then, Joseph," Waverly said coldly.
Seeing the resolute look on her face, Joseph couldn't help but feel very angry.
She had been dissatisfied with him since she was a child, hadn't she?
He turned around, his eyes filled with coldness, "Keep your eyes wide open. It won't take long."
When he went out, he met Hayley, who was coming over.
Hayley was shocked and she immediately questioned, "Why are you here? Did I let you in?"
A murderous look flashed across the corner of Joseph's eyes. He was exasperated...
