Chapter 840 If You Die, I Will Bury Them All With You!

Pain. So much pain. Her whole body felt uncomfortable as if it had been shattered into pieces. The pain seemed to emanate from her bones.
Could it be that she had ended up in hell instead of heaven?
Even breathing hurt. She felt like there was something up her nose. It felt hot.
Eli opened her eyes, and there was a white light. The light was very dazzling. She closed her eyes again.
So, this was how it felt to die. There was pain all over her body. Could it be that her soul had burned along with her ashes? Or did she accidentally suppress her soul or something?
That white light should be the way forward. She struggled to open her eyes again but the light was too bright, so she closed them immediately.
"Mr. Yaleman, she is awake. Miss Wayne is awake!" Someone shouted excitedly.
Miss Wayne was awake?!
Was she not dead?
She jumped down from the 101st floor and didn't die. Was she being protected by an angel? She couldn't believe such a miracle. Did she teleport or something?
When she opened her eyes, the first person she saw was Sean.
His face was full of stubbles and he had lost a lot of weight. The dark circles under his eyes were heavy and he looked haggard.
Was this Sean from another dimension?
Otherwise, how could the man in front of her be so different from the Sean she knew?
Moreover, his expression was very strange.
Eli couldn't comprehend what was going on, nor did she have the energy to. She was in so much pain that she wanted to go to sleep. At least, in her sleep, she wouldn't be able to feel the pain anymore.
She closed her eyes again.
"Doctor!" Sean shouted anxiously.
A group of doctors rushed over.
"Why has she fallen asleep again? Heal her. If you can't treat her, I will bury all of you alongside her," Sean snapped.
Eli opened her eyes again and looked at Sean in confusion. She realized something was off when they were examining her. She couldn't move her right arm. Not just her arm, she couldn't move her fingers either.
She looked at her right arm. It was gone. She didn't have a right arm. Her sleeve was empty. She couldn't believe it. She reached over to touch her right arm. There was nothing but a stump there. It was really gone...
"Where's my right arm?" She asked Sean in a hoarse voice.
"I cut it off. Who told you to jump off a building?" Sean said coldly.
Jumped off a building?!
Could it be that this girl had jumped off a building too?
She was a little confused. "Who are you? Who am I?"
"Eli, are you playing memory games with me? I will not let you go even if you lose your memory. What you owe me can't be paid back with mere death," Sean said sinisterly as his red eyes locked onto Eli.
Eli slowly came to her senses. She was still Eli. The person in front of her was still Sean. She hadn't teleported anywhere. She just hadn't died. "I survived after jumping down from the 101st floor?"
Sean clenched his teeth. If it weren't for the fact that he had found out Eli went to Century Tower, and the fact that Stella had called him for help, Eli would have definitely died from that fall.
However, she didn't die. Her right arm landed on a cushion before hitting the ground. The bones in her right arm fractured completely and there was no way to save it. Her bones had splintered into her muscles and nervous system, so there was no choice but to sever it off.
Eli was quite calm.
She was ready for death after all. An arm meant nothing to her. She could always just try again. It wasn't a big deal.
She looked at how lightly the doctor was dressed and asked gently, "What month is it now? How long have I been in a coma?"
"It's July now. You've been in a coma for four months," the young doctor replied.
Sean frowned and said in a harsh voice, "Don't be so polite when you talk to her. She is a prisoner, not a VIP."
Eli looked at Sean and asked, "Where is Haward?"
Sean lifted the corners of his mouth. "He's already dead. He's been dead for two months."
Eli's heart missed a beat. Her eyes welled up with tears and they slowly trickled down her face.
In the end, she didn't die before Haward.
Alas. Although she loved to eat a lot, and sometimes she liked to play pranks, she had never done anything inherently bad. Why did God want to continue to punish her so? She had lost her arm, and she was in so much pain, yet she still had to grieve over her friend's death.
She knew that she would not be alive much longer either, but she still mourned Haward's death.
There was no point in being sad.
She was useless. What else could she do apart from being sad?
Sean smiled sarcastically. "I didn't see you shedding so many tears for me when I was caught."
Eli was too lazy to explain. In her sorrow, she closed her eyes.
A long time ago, she had analyzed what kind of man she liked.
Mature, steady, considerate, understanding, open-minded, and tolerant. He didn't need to be rich or powerful. She didn't mind as long as they got along well.
Later, she inexplicably fell in love with Sean.
In actuality, she liked being with Haward. From the beginning, Sean had never been her cup of tea.
Oh, right, she had been moved by Sean's passion.
Now, that passion was gone and she was no longer moved. The only thing she knew firmly was that it was her who caused him to lose his position as President. She was obedient because she owed him.
Time passed by in a daze. She slept and woke up and repeated the cycle. Eventually, they removed her oxygen tube.
She vaguely felt that there was someone beside her bed, but it didn't matter. Once she was able to walk, she would go kill herself again.
She felt very annoyed. When she was alive, all she had was feelings of suffering and loneliness. She didn't have the courage to live on. After she died, would Haward's parents come to receive her?
Eli was most afraid of being alone.
In the morning, she woke up and sat up on the bed. Her whole body was still sore and weak.
Fortunately, there was no one in the room.
She looked at the window, which was closed.
She struggled to get up. She wasn't used to not having her right arm. Subconsciously, she would use her right arm to do things. However, because it wasn't there, she would use too much strength and lose her balance. Without her right arm to catch her, she could only fall onto the floor with a bang.
Sean rushed in and saw Eli on the ground. He roared, "What are you trying to do? Where is everyone? Didn't I tell you guys to watch her 24/7? Get in here!"
A nurse came in immediately and helped Eli up.
Eli raised her head and met Sean's eyes, which were bloodshot from anger. She felt uncomfortable so she looked away.
"Are you trying to kill yourself? Fine, but if you die without my permission, I will destroy everyone you hold dear. Stella will be the first person to taste my wrath," Sean warned.
Eli turned around and looked at Sean irritably. She said angrily, "Do you still have any conscience? When you were imprisoned, Stella saved you. But now you want to take your anger out on her!"
"But, it was her brother-in-law who took everything away from me. What she did for me doesn't even make up for one-tenth of what they owe me. Why shouldn't I take my revenge on her? I'll let the two of you be buried together. Aren't you guys good friends? You should be very happy to see her," Sean said maliciously as he glared sharply at her.
