Chapter 1115 You Were Bound To Divorce Him

Joseph became serious and his gaze sharpened, "When you married Bellamy, I was upset. I went to find you, but you didn't want to see me. You were bound to divorce him. It didn't matter if I was right or wrong. I couldn't watch you and him being together happily, getting along well and loving and respecting each other."
"It's because you didn't like it that you slandered me so much that I was humiliated and insulted by all the people in the world, making me go down in history for thousands of years?" Waverly asked in return and her heart was cold again.
"What I didn't like was you marrying Bellamy. Clearing your name was originally part of my plan. It was as easy as lifting a finger. Simply a word from me and it would be done. It was just a matter of my mood," Joseph teased.
Waverly pursed her lips and did not speak.
Boris had warned her before that her name must be cleared for her to be able to carry out a lot of things. Only in that way could she become the best in the world. Moreover, if she wanted to prove her innocence, she had to start from the person who framed her.
She calmed herself down and asked, "Then, how is your mood now?"
"Absolutely terrible," Joseph said.
Waverly had already been accustomed to his temperament.
It was normal. However, when she thought of all the slander she had faced in the past, all her emotions exploded in an instant.
"Enjoy your meal. I'll go back to my room to rest," Waverly stood up.
"Take your medicine," Joseph coldly spat out the three words to Waverly.
Waverly took the ointment on the table and went to her room.
Enraged, Joseph threw the bowls on the table to the ground. His eyes were sharp and there was a sense of frustration in them.
"She doesn't know what's good for her," Joshua took the opportunity to say.
Joseph got up and walked out.
Waverly was lying on the bed. When she heard the sound of the car leaving downstairs, she sighed.
She still had failed to retain her composure. Some questions were like land mines, ones she shouldn't ask.
However, the same question still remained in her heart, like a thorn that had pierced into her heart and buried itself in there.
Although she knew that it would not do her any good, she still wanted to challenge Joseph's patience.
It was truly a blessing that she had been able to be alive.
She was a little tired, so she closed her eyes and had a rest.
After some time, she heard the sound of the door opening. She opened her eyes vigilantly and sat up while covering herself with the quilt.
Joseph came in with a poker face, threw a box on the sofa and went to the bathroom.
Waverly slowly laid down again. After a nap, her mood had become much more stable. She seemed calm on the surface, but there were thousands of waves crashing in her mind.
She must fight for a better future and change to survive.
Joseph came out of the bathroom with a towel around him.
He glanced at her coldly without saying anything. Lying next to her, he turned off the lights and closed his eyes.
Waverly turned to face him.
With the moonlight shining in through the window, she could clearly see his outline and facial features.
They were both silent for three minutes.
"Are you going to sleep?" Waverly asked.
Joseph's eyes did not open and his voice sounded a little tired. He answered in a hoarse voice, "What else would I do?"
Waverly remembered the doctor's words. Last night, in order to take care of her, he had not slept.
Without saying anything, she turned around and turned her back to him.
After another three minutes, he turned over, put his arms around her waist and pulled her into his arms, "Sometimes, I really want to kill you so that I won't be annoyed anymore."
Waverly's back tensed up.
Even if she had an agreement with Joseph, her life might not be guaranteed as it was always in someone else's hands. That thought was terrifying to her.
"You're afraid now? Why weren't you afraid of dying when you were angry at me?" said Joseph.
Waverly was silent.
Whenever she got angry at him, she had no idea how to be rational.
He turned her face over so that she could face him directly.
In the darkness, his eyes were like the abyss.
The sight of them would make people feel a little dizzy.
"Do you still hate me?" Joseph asked coldly.
Waverly fixed her eyes on him.
If she said she hated him, he might strangle her the next second.
However, if she said she didn't hate him, he wouldn't believe her.
She turned around and said to him, "Joseph, I used to think that it was a lucky thing to marry Bellamy. However, in the face of reality, that lucky thing became my misfortune. A long time ago, there was a person who raised a horse. The horse disappeared for several days and everyone felt sorry for him. They were all worried about it, but that person merely smiled and said that it may be a blessing in disguise.
"Sure enough, not long after, the horse returned with another horse."
"Others praised him for his good luck."
"However, he became worried and said that blessings and disasters are two sides of the same coin."
"Soon, the officials came to him and said that he had stolen someone else's horse. He had to pay a fine to avoid imprisonment."
"So?" Asked Joseph.
"I've almost forgotten the things of the past, whether it's about my feelings, love or hate. However, as soon as I think of those videos that had nothing to do with me, I still feel wronged. It was still my first time doing it with you, but people in the world thought that I was being shameless. If you were in my shoes, would you be angry?" Waverly asked softly.
"I'll find an opportunity to help you clear your name," Joseph promised.
"Okay," Waverly answered. She needed to prove herself innocent.
"You woke me up just now. What's the matter?" Joseph asked.
Waverly looked up and kissed him on the lips quickly. She silently looked at him.
"You want to do it?" Joseph asked, his eyes filled with lust.
"You seem to be exhausted," Waverly said.
"Whether I'm tired or not depends on what you want to do," Joseph kissed her on the lips.
Waverly felt like she was floating up and down, confused and in a daze.
During their second round, she felt something cold around her neck, but he didn't let her see what it was. He was like a storm with lightning and thunder.
The next day, she slept until she woke up naturally. When she opened her eyes, Joseph was still sleeping beside her.
She felt lazy and was reluctant to get up. She closed her eyes again. Feeling dizzy, she fell asleep again.
The next time she woke up was when she was awakened by Joseph.
He got up and put on his clothes.
Waverly fixed her eyes on him.
He had a good figure. When he took off his shirt, he looked muscular but when he wore his shirt, he looked thin. His abdominal muscles were usually partly hidden or partly visible, but whenever they did it, those lines could be clearly seen.
Joseph liked the way she was looking at him, "What are you thinking about?"
Waverly looked away and noticed that there was something on her neck. She took a look at it. It was a black stone. The unknown metal was simple and rough with a metal chain passing through it. It did not look good. She asked him, "What is this?"
"Californium," Joseph said.
"Californium? What's that?" It was the first time Waverly had heard such an ore, "A rare metal?"
"Sort of," Joseph said.
Waverly frowned.
Truth be told, Joseph was a person with good tastes. At the very least least, he was incredibly rich. If it were just a piece of ordinary rare metal, he would not have turned it into such a small stone and hung it around her neck.
"It looks like a dog chain," Waverly said bluntly.
He flicked her forehead and said, "Go and find out what you're wearing by yourself. Don't lose it. It's noon now. Get up and have lunch. There's still something we need to do."
