Chapter 900 She’s Not Wrong, He Doesn’t Want A Divorce Too

Powerless, Bellamy could only look at her. He picked her up and placed her on the bed. "I'll check on your knee later. Are you hurt?"
"No. I'm wearing such thick trousers, how can I get hurt? Bellamy, you should go first. I'm going to take a bath. I stink of barbecue smell," Waverly said with a smile.
"Can you really do it alone?" Bellamy was worried.
"Do you want to help me with the shower?"
"Stop joking." Bellamy's face stiffened.
"I can do it alone." Waverly tried to convince him by smiling.
"Alright. Shout at me if you need anything."
Waverly nodded and agreed.
Bellamy then left her room. She was so weak that she could not stand up, her head heavy. She wanted to just sleep, but she still managed to sit up. Even so, she did not want to walk at all.
She took off her down jacket and tossed it on the bed before taking off her sweater. The only piece of clothing left on her was a black camisole. She slowly stood up and swayed toward the bathroom, holding the door as she walked.
Being alone was not that much of a big deal. She would slowly get used to it, and after that, she would be fearless.
She turned on the shower, the water splashing on her body. It was cold.
Startled, she shrank her neck and immediately turned off the water. After that, she sighed.
The more she wanted to be better at something, the less she could do it. She stopped taking a shower, sat down, and turned on the faucet of the bathtub.
The water was cold at first, but it soon turned warm.
Lying in the bathtub as she rested, she thought how that day was in fact, quite a happy day for her.
Bellamy had never accompanied her for so long before. She was content and satisfied.
She accidentally dozed off...
However, she did not sleep for long, for the floor was too cold. She was jolted awake by the chill. She casually took off her clothes and climbed into the bathtub. Closing her eyes, she slid into her slumber...
Bellamy, too, had finished his shower. He was too worried about her, so he went downstairs.
There was light coming out of her room. It seemed that she was not asleep yet.
He pushed the door open and took a glance at the bed, only to find that she was not there.
There was water seeping out of the bathroom, and his heart tightened. He immediately ran over and knocked on the door. "Waverly, are you in there? Waverly!"
No one responded. Anxiety kicking in, he opened the door and saw Waverly lying in the bathtub.
She had a good figure, her body curvaceous and well-proportioned. Her skin was as fair as cream. Amid her sleep, she was completely defenseless, like a soft baby.
He deliberately averted his gaze and took a bath towel in his hand, lifting her from the bathtub. He put the bath towel around her, carried her out, and placed her on her bed.
She was still fast asleep.
Bellamy looked at her, his gaze was incomprehensible. She was strong, studious, hardworking, and determined, but she did not know how to take care of herself.
Distress washed over him when he looked at her, then he stroked her cheeks gently with his fingers.
She was too young, and there were still a lot of possibilities. Back then, Stella liked Frederick. She only knew Jasper when she got older. He believed that she would one day get to know a man who would suit her just right, a man whom she really loved.
Meanwhile, he was too old, and his life was too complicated. There were many things he had to resolve. Maybe he would be dragged down by Sean and be ensnared in a dark prison without daylight someday. When the day comes, she would be implicated by him.
He was hoping to end it before there was any chance of it happening. He would not give her any false hope, nor would he give one to himself.
He covered her with the quilt, then he entered the bathroom to turn off the faucet. Only then did he leave her room...
When Waverly woke up, it was already past 10 a.m. She had a headache. When she got up, she found that she was cold and naked. Hence, she burrowed herself in the quilt once more.
She seemed to have taken a shower and fallen asleep. Bellamy was probably the one who had carried her to bed. They were the only ones at home.
She was not wearing anything. Did he not have any feelings for her? Even if he had treated her as his sister, he should still realize that she was a woman! Or did he treat her as a man?
Waverly smirked at herself. She got up, went to the cabinet, took out some clothes from it, and put them on. She washed up, went out, and headed for the study room. She knocked on the door, but there was no response.
She pushed open the door, but Bellamy was nowhere to be seen.
"Bellamy," Waverly called.
No one answered.
She went to Bellamy's room; he was not there either. His quilts were neatly folded.
Waverly walked to the window and looked outside. As far as the naked eye could cover, Bellamy was not to be sighted.
He probably had gone out. He did not tell her where he went, when he left, when he would return, or even what he would be doing.
She was a little disappointed. She went downstairs and to the kitchen.
The kitchen was still the same as yesterday, and because she woke up late, Bellamy had skipped breakfast.
She saw that there was still some bread left, so she immediately made a sandwich. She cut the potatoes into slices and made a side salad. After devouring the hearty breakfast, she went to feed the dogs. Then, she sat on the chair beside the lake, quietly waiting for Bellamy to come back...
Bellamy had gone to Sean's place. He knocked on the door, and he was met with Eli who opened it.
When Eli saw Bellamy, she was slightly stunned. She stayed rooted on the ground as she beheld him. She couldn't yet tell if this was Jasper or Bellamy. Her mouth was trembling as she stammered, "Why are you here?"
"Where's Sean?" he asked.
As soon as he spoke, it was clear to Eli. He was Bellamy.
Bellamy was more easy-going than Jasper, and Jasper was colder than Bellamy.
One was like the sun in the winter, and the other was like the frost in the summer. These twins had completely different personalities.
"Ah, he's playing games inside. You... you're not here to catch him, are you?" Eli asked with worry and fear.
"If I wanted to catch him, I would have done that yesterday. There's no need to wait until now," Bellamy said as he walked inside.
Sean's gaze was fixed on the computer. "Give me five minutes. I'll be done in a while."
Bellamy left the room and sat on the sofa.
Eli's nervousness was gnawing at her when she stood opposite Bellamy. "Would you like some water?"
Bellamy smiled and said, "No, thank you. Go on with your games. I can wait."
Eli also wanted to go to the room, but her legs were still trembling, let alone walking. As if she was rooted on the spot. "I went to see Stella's child a few days ago. The child is a real beauty, and she looks very much like Jasper."
Bellamy let out a chuckle.
He felt that Eli was smart. He knew that bringing up Stella at this moment could alleviate the beef between him and Sean. "Their children are all beautiful. Angela, Sandro, and even Dante from before. Now that Dante is already a young man, he inherited their strengths, and he is very handsome."
"That's great. We'll be old when these children grow up. In the future, they will be the ones to rule," Eli rambled on.
Anything that was in her mind, she would unspool them into words. Old habits die hard, after all. After she chewed on it for a while, she realized that it might have been a thing too overzealous to say that those children would be the ones to rule.
Sean came out of the room, his gaze caught Eli's face. "It was very tiring for me to control two players on my own. You should play alone first. Mr. Chuck and I have something to discuss."
