Chapter 1104 You Care So Much For Me, What Should I Do?
No wonder that Raven boy had fallen in love with her at first sight, even going as far as to having a big fight with Yasmine for Waverly's sake.
When he first found out about the matter, he only felt a little irritated and did not have any other feelings.
However, seeing how beautiful she was, he felt unhappy.
Waverly put all her cosmetics into the bag again and ignored Joseph. She said, "You seem to like me better when I don't put on make-up. Let's go."
She stood up. Joseph grabbed her hand and pulled her to his side. He pinched her face and locked her in his gaze, "You are my woman now. Don't betray me or I'll kill you and your entire family."
Waverly looked at Joseph calmly.
Men's minds were a bit strange. They could marry a woman while sleeping with countless others.
Women who slept with them before became their property. If they found out that those women were sleeping with other men outside, they would kill them.
She imitated his actions and cupped his face. She approached him and stopped around three centimeters away from him, "You are now my man. If you cheat on me, I will kill you and your family too."
Joseph smirked.
Due to the fact that she was too close to him, Waverly could not see his expression clearly.
He kissed her harshly on her lips, sucking and nibbling on her lips.
Waverly was frightened by his kiss. She wanted to step back. However, the more she pushed him, the more he pressed the back of her head to prevent her from struggling.
She was angry. After all, she had already come to this point and there was nothing else for her to lose.
She kissed him back. Like what he did, she sucked and nibbled on his lips.
More than ten minutes passed when the kiss ended.
Waverly looked at the corners of his mouth and her lipstick stain on his face. For some inexplicable reason, she felt overjoyed and took a deep breath.
Joseph was not satisfied. He kissed her lips again and didn't want to let go of her easily. He became addicted to her taste and wanted to kiss her again.
The clothes that she had just worn were all thrown to the ground again. Once again, she felt like she was strolling in the clouds. She sweated buckets and was in ecstasy.
By the time they finished, it was already an hour later.
Waverly was resting with her eyes closed.
He looked at her makeup.
He thought that he had strong self-control and was a person who would not be easily confused by his own feelings, but everything had become a mess.
Other men, who were lesser than him, would be worse.
He didn't want her to have anything to do with other men.
"I'll go take a shower first. Then, you can come over later to wash up and remove the makeup on your face. You don't need to put on makeup in the future," said Joseph as he went to the bathroom.
Waverly opened her eyes, a cold gaze radiated from her.
Being with Joseph, she no longer even had the freedom to put on makeup. In the future, her freedom would diminish even more.
She didn't want to be controlled by others!
After Joseph came out from the bathroom, she took her bag and went inside to take a bath. She washed off her makeup, but re-applied it and came out of the bathroom.
He frowned and said, "Didn't you wash it off?"
Waverly sat on the sofa and was annoyed, especially in the face of Joseph's constant pressuring.
"I washed it and applied it again," she took out a pack of cigarettes from her bag and lit one. She puffed out a thick cloud of smoke. Before she could take a second puff, the cigarette was taken away by Joseph and stumped out.
"Since when did you have such a strong addiction to smoking? Girls don't look good when they smoke," said Joseph.
"Do I look ugly when I smoke?" Waverly asked back while leaning lazily on the chair. Her eyes drooped as she looked at him charmingly.
Joseph squinted his eyes and said, "Do you want to let loose?"
"Can't I?" Waverly asked.
"Why would I need a good-for-nothing like you?" Joseph stood up and walked towards the door.
Waverly lowered her eyes and her long eyelashes blocked the rollercoaster of emotions in her eyes. She stayed still.
Joseph turned to look at her and said, "It's time for dinner. Hurry up."
Waverly stood up slowly, picked up her bag and walked towards Joseph, "Are we eating in the hotel?"
"I'll take you to meet a friend," Joseph said. He took a few steps before looking at her.
Her eyes were too charming and too captivating, making him very annoyed.
"Take out your contact lenses," Joseph ordered.
Her father had never even cared about her like that, even when she was in her rebellious phase.
The fact that Joseph was controlling so many aspects of her life made her feel incredibly uncomfortable.
"I don't want to take them off. I think I look good with them," Waverly refused his request.
Joseph's face darkened a little, "Who are you dressing up for?"
"You. Who else do you think all this is for?" Waverly answered him with no expression.
"You don't need to do that. Take them off."
"I don't want to," Waverly insisted.
Joseph smiled wickedly and warned, "This is the last time I warn you. Take it off. If you don't take them off, I'll do it for you."
Waverly didn't bother to change her expression and said in a deadpan way, "Help me remove them, then."
Gritting his teeth, he said, "I'm afraid of dirtying my hands. If you don't remove them, you can't go out."
He went out and slammed the door behind him loudly. Seeing Boris standing outside the door, he said in a strange tone, "You are quite dedicated to your job."
Boris lowered his head and said nothing.
When Joseph saw that Boris was silent, he did not lose his temper. He kicked the trash can, making a loud noise.
Waverly heard the sound outside.
She knew that she should obey his orders.
If he said to go east, she would go east.
If he said west, she would go west.
She should obey all his orders and try her best to please him, so that he would let his guard down.
However, the pride in her bones and the temper in her blood could not be erased in such a short time.
She curled up on the sofa and closed her eyes. She was already tired. After sleeping for a while, she was awoken by a knock on the door.
"Who is it?" Waverly asked.
"Madam, it's a doctor. He was sent by Joseph. Do you want him to come in?" Boris asked.
"Got it," Waverly came over and opened the door.
The doctor stood at the door while trembling with fear and said, "Mr. Mccarthy asked me to come over and ask if your contact lenses had been taken out yet."
Waverly rolled her eyes, "Isn't he tired with this matter?"
"Mr. Mccarthy said that if you don't take them out, I should do so and hand them over to him," the doctor said with his head down. He begged for mercy, "Madam, please don't make things difficult for me. If I don't do this, I won't be able to become a doctor for the rest of my life."
"I'm confused. He's like a dictator implementing fascism. Why do you listen to him? Why do you work for him? He's so unreasonable," Waverly said with a frown.
"Since the hospital director asked me to come, I have to come. I don't want to come either, but I don't have a choice," the doctor said helplessly.
Waverly understood the circumstances.
Joseph's friend was a minister. Perhaps he did not only have that friend in Mexiland. His friends were all either rich or noble. If he were to give the director of a hospital, the director would have to obey him.
She didn't want to make things difficult for innocent bystanders, so she removed her contact lenses and put them in the doctor's hands, "Go fulfil your duty."
"Thank you, Madam. You really are a good person. Last night, you had a high fever and I was the one who came over. Your illness was caused by stress and your depression. You'd better go and see a psychologist to deal with it. Mental illness is a big deal and it's better to cure it before it goes out of hand. It's much more difficult to cure depression after bottling things up for a long time," the doctor advised.
