Chapter 817 Happily Getting Along

"I think what you said before is true. I grew up in a church, so I've only been exposed to one way of thinking. I've never experienced great love, loss, or happiness. I haven't been enlightened by life. So, I plan to explore the world and experience what other people experience. After that, I will return to become a priest again," Master Olgic said.
"You might not want to go back to that life anymore after experiencing the secular life. After all, you would have many more commitments and attachments in the world. Have you found a job yet?" Stella asked with concern.
"Not yet, it's not easy for me to find a job. I can't exactly list down 'being a priest' on my resume, could I?" Olgic said with a smile.
After all, his current state of mind was not even comparable to hers. He had no idea what would happen in the future.
"I have a suggestion. When people die, some families will hire monks and priests to release their souls from purgatory. It's different from what you do, and it's more of a business."
"I've done that before, but I usually don't charge for it because that makes the ritual lose its meaning. I don't really want to do something related to my past career. I was thinking of doing something simple like working as a waiter, a driver, or a cashier. I want to experience as much of the world as I can."
"Do you need me to introduce some people to you?"
Olgic chuckled. "There's no need for that. I called you to tell you about my decision, that's all. So, you won't be able to find me at the church for quite some time. I'll find a job on my own."
"Okay. If you need anything, let me know."
"Okay, sure. Then, I'll hang up first."
"Mm," Stella put away her phone and looked at Bellamy. "I'm sorry, Master Olgic has returned to his secular life now."
Bellamy laughed. "It's God's will. It seems that I'll have to rely on myself to understand my life in the future."
"Since he's no longer a priest, are you still planning on keeping in contact with him?" Jasper asked all of a sudden.
Stella was slightly taken aback as she looked at Jasper.
He took a sip of wine indifferently as if he hadn't said anything.
Bellamy's smile became even brighter. He looked at Jasper and said, "Aren't you the king of jealousy? What is there even to be jealous about? If I got jealous even over something like this, I'd be living every day in anger."
Jasper's expression became even weirder. Without saying a word, he poured himself another glass of wine.
Stella put her hand on his thigh.
Jasper's body froze as he looked at her.
Stella raised the corner of her lips, and there was a bright smile in her eyes. Her eyes were so soft that he felt himself melting under her gaze.
Jasper's expression lightened. He held her hand, clenched it tightly, and then let go.
"I'm really envious of you two. Meanwhile, I relieve my worries by drinking," Bellamy laughed and clinked his glass with Jasper's. "You rascal, you're not allowed to leave without saying goodbye in the future. You made Stella and I worry."
Jasper nodded. "When are you going to release Sean?"
Bellamy looked at Stella. "Give me a report on his mental state after you meet him. I don't want to take any chances. Otherwise, our family will be next in line to go to prison."
Stella understood what Bellamy meant, as well as his worries. "I'll go with you later today. I'll get back to you after I see him."
"Okay."
They chatted while eating, and the atmosphere was merry.
Suzi finished up her cooking. Meanwhile, Anthea had gone to ask Lynette to have her meal.
Bellamy's expression was especially gentle when he saw Sandro. "Sandro, call me Uncle."
Sandro stared at Bellamy's face. "Daddy."
Bellamy raised his smile. "I am your Uncle, not your Daddy. Call me Uncle."
Although Bellamy said that, he was extremely happy to hear Sandro call him Daddy.
When Sandro was still in the womb, Bellamy had been by his side and talked to him a lot. He truly treated Sando like his own child.
Sandro looked at Bellamy, and then at Jasper, "Two Daddys."
Suzi smiled. "Stop making things difficult for Sandro. He keeps following me, and he is distant from both Jasper and Bellamy. He can't tell which one is his father."
"Jasper, send Sandro to me, let him be my godson. I'm older than you anyway. Both your children are already so big, but I still have none of my own," Bellamy said pleadingly.
Jasper looked at Stella.
Stella nodded and agreed. She could see that Bellamy really liked Sandro. It was not a bad thing for him to have the President as his godfather.
"Alright."
"You two fools, you must hold a simple ceremony. Bellamy, you have to give the child a gold pendant, and Sandro has to serve Bellamy a cup of tea and call him godfather. Then, the ceremony will be complete," Suzi said.
"I don't have a gold pendant with me now. But we have a deal. Let's set a date. When I get back, I'll get someone to make some arrangements and give you guys a call," Bellamy said happily with his eyes fixed on Sandro's face.
Sandro was very good-looking. He got all the best qualities from both Jasper and Stella. His eyes were wide and round, and his cheeks were rosy. The more Bellamy looked at Sandro, the cuter he thought he looked.
"If you like children, then you should have one with Waverly," Suzi said.
Bellamy's face darkened, and a trace of sadness flashed across his eyes. "We'll see. There are still a lot of things I have to do now."
"It doesn't affect you from having children. Don't tell me you don't even have the time to do that," Suzi scolded.
"Mom, the dishes you've made are so delicious, I must learn from you next time. That way when you're busy, I could cook for Jasper instead," Stella intentionally changed the topic, so as not to embarrass Bellamy.
"The dishes you cook are obviously better than mine. Stella, why don't you start a business with me? With your brains, I'm sure that you will catch on quickly and excel. Milton Corp is back on track now, and there are always new projects available. We have professional investors as well, so you won't need to worry much," Suzi suggested.
"Well..." Stella paused. "I majored in medicine and I studied psychology for many years. I'm good at psychology, so I want to expand my research in that field. I don't think I'm suited for business, and I don't really want to pour my talents into something I'm unfamiliar with. Sorry, Mom."
"Oh..." Suzi was a little disappointed.
Stella looked at Jasper for help.
Jasper understood her gaze and said, "Elvis followed me around the country when I was a businessman before. He helped me a lot, and we secured many deals because of him. I trust him, and I want to put him into the company. He can help you take care of a lot of problems, Mom."
"That sounds good too," Suzi was happy.
In fact, she wanted more time to spend with her children and the family. Business had never been her interest.
Lynette lowered her head even lower. In the future, Elvis would become a core figure of Milton Corp.
The distance between them was about to grow even further...
Stella glanced at Lynette and saw the disappointment and despair in her eyes.
It was normal to be sad over some things. Everyone would feel that way at one point or another. However, being sad all the time meant that there was some deeper-rooted issue with that person's mental health.
