Chapter 1111 Feel It With Your Heart That He Genuinely Likes You

"His subordinates are looking for you from below. Did you see them?"
"Yes. They are trying to make things difficult for me, right?" Waverly guessed. She slowly laid down, put her hands behind her head, looked at the sky and asked softly, "Do you love your girlfriend?"
"I do," Boris said in a deep voice.
"Do you love your wife?"
"Yes, I do."
"You found a new girlfriend, though?" Waverly looked at him.
"When I love someone, I will try my best to love her. When I can't love that person anymore, my life will still continue on and there will be other people in my life. I still know how to love other people and that doesn't mean that I don't love my wife anymore anymore, but that I chose to continue living my life." Boris said.
"Who do you love more, your wife or your girlfriend?" Waverly asked in a different mood.
"I love them both equally. If my wife was still alive, I would not fall in love with other women. However, she died. The love I give to my girlfriend is no less than that to my wife, nothing more, nothing less. Both kinds of love are the same." Boris sat down, "What about you? Who do you love more, Lenold or Bellamy?"
"You know Lenold?" Waverly was curious.
"Many people knew what happened to you. If you pay attention to the news, one would know quite a lot of things about you," Boris raised his smile and looked into the distance.
Waverly recalled that she seemed to have loved both Lenold and Bellamy. When she loved someone, she did not hesitate to put her heart and soul into the relationship.
"Right now, my heart for Lenold is as tranquil as still water," Waverly said ambiguously, not revealing her feelings for Bellamy.
"I think that there is something like a bank which stores emotions in people's hearts. Usually, when other people are kind to you, those feelings can be accumulated inside. When you quarrel with someone, the emotions stored inside will be consumed. When the amount of feelings one accumulates becomes negative, it will be hard for you to fall in love. Perhaps no matter how hard you try, you won't be able to love that person again, for your love had all been used up. For example, you had once fallen in love with Lenold, but you've lost all of your feelings for him and won't love him anymore."
"If you want to say something, you don't have to beat around the bush with me. Just say it."
"We have to face reality, which is that you will still live under Joseph's control for quite some time. Just because you're staying in the woods for three days, does that mean that you are free? No, you're not. It's better to let Joseph think he has power over you. If so, whenever he wants to do anything to you, he will at least be a little merciful," Boris said.
"He doesn't need to be merciful towards me. Life and death are predestined. I don't have anything to protect in the first place anyway," Waverly gritted her teeth and said.
"Do you think I do?" Boris asked.
"You have one: your girlfriend," Waverly judged.
"When I found out that my family members were dead, I lost my direction in life. I could never handle those people who were pulling the strings. I once wanted to use Quinn's power. However, when I helped him, I realized something. What I was doing was no different from those I hated. Therefore, after I gave that thing to Stella, I thought of accompanying my family members."
Waverly looked at him seriously. Hearing what he said, she felt that the both of them were in the same boat, "Then, what happened?"
"I met my girlfriend. When I met her on the bridge, there was a woman who wanted to commit suicide. She went to save her and fell into the river. I jumped down and saved the two of them together. My girlfriend was comforting the person who attempted suicide because she had broken up with her loved one. She told her that there were many beautiful things in life. The rising sun, the blooming roses, the falling rain, the miracle of birth and the life of a person who helps others to live a happy life. Those are all the joys of life."
"Stella seemed to have said something similar once. Sentimental women have a lot in common," Waverly said.
"I know that the current situation makes you feel desperate and pessimistic. Furthermore, it might be making you lose your confidence in life. Stella had attempted suicide many times, but she is happy now. She has two children, friends and her husband to accompany her. As long as you live, there will be a turning point. Difficult times are only temporary. Once you live through them, you will become a better person. I think you will definitely have a good future," Boris comforted her.
Waverly's eyes turned red as she listened.
In the past, Joseph had also constantly tortured her. However, whenever she remembered that she must live and help Bellamy, no matter how intense the torture she put up with, it would all become insignificant when compared to her desire to protect him.
However, this time, she had been too aggrieved by Bellamy. She felt wronged and wanted to give up, especially when she saw Boris being beaten up. She felt guilty, helpless and small, only able to wail in despair inside her heart.
What else did she have? Nothing.
All those things she did seemed to have been in vain. She exchanged Hayley for Boris, but nothing had changed. All those who accompanied her would be unlucky as they would all be in constant danger.
She felt so worthless that she wanted to vent her anger.
When Joseph had asked her to get out of the car, she had actually done so. When she had climbed up the tree, she also thought that it might be a good thing if she died.
She wouldn't have to face Bellamy and Joseph again. After all, she had always been alone. If she was left to die alone, it didn't seem to be a big deal. She didn't mind.
"Will the future truly be better?" Waverly asked with uncertainty, but there was still a glimmer of hope in her.
"Five years ago, you were suffering from the death of your loved ones. You faced the betrayal of your lover and you married Bellamy who you didn't know. At that time, have you ever thought about how everything would unfold in the future?" Boris said patiently.
Waverly shook her head.
At that time, she had only wanted to leave that place.
"In those five years, you were happy, fell in love and even enjoyed supreme honor. As long as you work hard every day and don't give up, there will be a better tomorrow and more hope in the future. What we have to do now is store our emotions. If we store our love in our hearts, it's also considered preparing for the future. For the rest of our lives, we can't always think about the bad things in the past as doing so is useless. We should spend time paying attention to the good things in front of us. You can do charity and help others. You can also grow flowers, keep fish or raise birds."
The tears she had tried holding back rolled down her cheeks at the moment, but the corners of her mouth were raised.
There was a difference between Boris and Hayley. When Hayley was by her side, Waverly had only wanted to protect her from harm. After all, she was only a child.
However, Boris turned out to be someone who she could rely on.
"I know what to do now. Thank you," Waverly said.
Boris also raised his smile, "Joseph is smart. He can see a lot just from your expression and language. Only when you really set aside the prejudice in your heart and put down your sharp edges to make yourself mellow and gentle, will others let their guard down. You are too straightforward towards him and you don't know how to pretend."
"He can see through a lot of things. My skills aren't enough and I'm too lazy to pretend. It's too tiring and hard."
"No matter who it is, once they fall in love, their intelligence will diminish and they will be restrained by emotions and hope. He may not be able to see through your pretense. However, I hope that you can feel it with your heart that he genuinely likes you."
