Chapter 930 Who Said So?
Waverly was worried that this was going to be a trap. She had to be careful.
She gave Joseph a call and asked, "Where are your people taking me to? Are we not going to the villa from the last time?"
"Why? Are you afraid?" Joseph teased.
"Of course. I only have one life. Why would I get into your car if I wasn't afraid?" Waverly huffed.
"It's a relief to hear this coming from you. If you could stay this obedient from now on, it'll save me a lot of trouble."
"You shouldn't have to worry about that, yes? After all, do I even have a place in your heart?" Waverly looked out of the window and said.
Her breath formed a thin layer of fog around the window, and she drew a sad face on the window.
"Are you trying to go against me?" Joseph's voice was low.
"I wouldn't have gotten into your car if I was going to go against you. Where are you taking me?" Waverly returned to the topic.
"You will know when you get there. Don't worry. No one is going to take your life if I want you alive. No one can save you either if I decide to take your life. Remember this well." Joseph then hung up.
Waverly wiped off the tears on her face in annoyance. She took two deep breaths to calm down her raging mood. She was so calm that she could feel her body cooling down. She closed her eyes and leaned on the chair to rest.
They reached an enclosed area about an hour after. The car passed through the security check and continued driving. Waverly opened her eyes and looked out of the window.
It was dark outside and there were streetlights among the trees. Waverly could see a huge ball bearing in a distance, rotating in a larger water tank.
She opened the car door and got out.
Another bespectacled man stood in front of her and said, "Miss Martell, please come with me."
Waverly could only follow him obediently. They passed through a bamboo forest and came to the front of the villa.
There were a few pairs of shoes at the entrance of the villa. The bespectacled man ushered her in and stood guard at the door.
Waverly took off her shoes and walked in. Two usherettes stood respectfully at the door and said, "Miss Martell, please come with us."
Waverly couldn't help but roll her eyes. Joseph wasn't a king, yet he was living like one.
She followed the lady into a room, who then handed her a set of clothes.
"I don't need it," Waverly refused.
"There is a hot spring inside. Everyone needs to change out of their clothes," The usherette said respectfully.
Waverly understood. She took the clothes from her and went into the locker room to change. Sensing a strange vibe around her, she turned around and saw Joseph leaning against the cabinet, looking at her.
"Get out," Waverly said rudely.
"What's wrong? I've seen every part of your body. What else is there to hide?" Joseph was smirking.
Waverly frowned. That was the biggest shame of her life. She hated Joseph more than she hated Lenold, "Don't ask what you already know. I'm changing. Please get out."
Joseph raised his eyebrows, but he eventually turned around and left. Waverly quickly changed her clothes.
The clothes were made of loose materials, covering her chest marginally.
Joseph was not there when she came out of the changing room. The usherette was waiting for her, "Miss Martell, please come with me."
Waverly followed her into the hot spring room.
The hot spring was huge and the winding creek was steaming. It was indoors, but the top of the hot spring was made of glass, and there were artificial hills, fake trees, real fruits, and desserts. There was no one else there.
She didn't like crowded hot springs. She preferred to have her personal space.
It was snowing. It felt good to soak in the hot spring on a cold day.
She closed her eyes and rested quietly. The more she rested, the lazier she became.
"Did you fall asleep?"
She heard Joseph, but she didn't want to talk to him, so she didn't open her eyes.
Joseph sat beside her and suddenly turned around. She was caught in between him and the rock wall.
Waverly slowly opened her eyes. It might have been the heat, or maybe it was because she had just closed her eyes. Her eyes were bloodshot, but her gaze remained still.
Joseph smirked as he sized her up, "Your eyes are so beautiful. Do you know why?"
"Because you are blind," Waverly said bluntly.
That did not wipe the smile off Joseph's face, but instead, it became even more sinister, "Because, at this moment, I'm in your eyes. If I'm not in there, you might as well dig them out."
Waverly turned her face away and wanted to stay away from him.
Joseph held her hand and refused to let her go.
Waverly decided not to leave and looked at him coldly.
A light flashed in Joseph's eyes. Suddenly, he pulled off Waverly's clothes.
Waverly was scared. She covered her chest; her entire body tensed up. Her voice was piercing, "What are you doing?"
"I'll let you know what it means to prey on the weak. Aren't you afraid of me seeing you naked? I want to see everything and eat everything. You don't have to maintain this nobility and reservation with me," Joseph said evilly.
"Joseph, you're despicable," Waverly said, aiming to slap Joseph's face.
Joseph was quicker. He got hold of her hand and pressed it on the wall, "Didn't you say that I'm despicable. In that case, I should live up to that trait of mine, yes?"
"What are you trying to do?" Waverly's back tensed.
"What do you think?" Joseph retorted as he unbuckled the clip on her back.
She was relieved once she realized what he was going to do. She was in such a panic that she could not think properly, "No, Joseph. You've already taken it from me."
"Who told you that I'm allowed only once a day? As long as a man wants to sleep with you, he could have sex with you how many times he wants," Joseph said, trying to remove her belt.
Waverly struggled desperately to not let him succeed.
Joseph held her other hand and also pressed it on the rock wall. "Waverly, your IQ may be higher than mine, but your physical strength is no match for me. Even if you use all your strength, it's nothing to me. Are you stupid? What's the point of struggling?"
Waverly knew that she was no match for him, but she was too angry. She opened her mouth and bit his arm.
It hurt, but Joseph didn't move. He allowed her to continue biting it, and blood flowed down from the corner of her mouth. However, she refused to let go.
He held her chin as if he wanted to crush her face. It hurt and she could not exert any more strength. She loosened her mouth, but before she could catch a breath, his lips landed on her hard.
Waverly waited for his tongue to slip into her mouth. She was going to seize the opportunity to bite his tongue off. However, it seemed that he had seen through her. Instead, his hand went down along the edge of her trousers.
