Chapter 877 The Future Is All Under Your Control

In a daze, Stella was dragged to a small room near the hillside in the backyard.
"Why did you drug her?" asked Waverly, aghast.
"She was sneaking around in the backyard. I suspect she knows about our relationship. I can't let her live," Lenold replied sinisterly.
Waverly's face turned cold, and there was a sneer in her eyes. She looked at Lenold and asked him indifferently, "Is there anything between us that would warrant you to do such a thing? That you had to kill someone? Or is it just your sinister mind, fearful that your evil motives will be found out, therefore wanting to kill her?"
"Waverly, what's the matter with you? If she tells your husband about our relationship, neither of us will live."
"What kind of relationship?" Waverly furrowed her brows and asked, "My ex-boyfriend? My uncle-in-law? I don't think that we have an indecent relationship. So what if Bellamy knows about our relationship?"
"I love you, and you know that you are the only one in my heart. But you are married, and your husband is the President of A Country. What else could I do? Don't you know how difficult it is for me to not see you when I miss you so much?" Lenold asked as he locked his reddened eyes with Waverly.
Waverly snorted and said, "It was over between us the moment you hooked up with my aunt. Stop trying to make things right. It will only make me want to forget you and push you even further away. Uncle Lenold, if there's nothing else, I'm leaving."
"Waverly." Lenold held Waverly's hand and said, "It wasn't me. It was your aunt who seduced me, I didn't seduce her. But she didn't succeed."
"How did you end up sleeping in her bed if you weren't seduced by her? I believe you have sex with her multiple times, didn't you?" Waverly asked icily.
"I was drunk the first time we had sex. I mistook her for you. Later, she blackmailed me with this matter. I was afraid that you will know about it, so I was forced to have sex with her. But you shouldn't have gotten married on such a whim. The person you married is the President of A Country. If I didn't marry your aunt, how else would I be able to see you again?" Lenold asked, his voice rising in agitation.
"It doesn't matter whether I see you again. But after seeing you today, I rather that we didn't. The Lenold that I had rescued is dead to me. I have never changed, but you have, unfortunately, become a stranger," Waverly said as she turned around and suddenly remembered that Stella was still there. She turned and helped her get up.
Lenold grabbed hold of Waverly's hand and looked at her, flustered. "Do you have to be so heartless? Don't you know that I still love you? Waverly, you are the one who got married first. I have never thought about marrying anyone else apart from you."
"That's because I don't love you anymore," said Waverly coldly.
Startled by her words, Lenold said, "I don't believe what you'd just said. If you don't love me anymore, why haven't you slept in the same bed with your husband?"
Waverly's eyes turned red and she replied, "It's not that I don't want to sleep with him. It's he who does not want to sleep with me."
Lenold was humiliated into anger. He felt as though he had been cuckolded, and he slapped Waverly across the face. "Shameless woman."
Waverly turned her face away, and there were three bloodstains on her face. She stared at Lenold with icy cold eyes and said indifferently, "I'll be shameless as long as I am stuck with you."
She shook Lenold's hand away and helped Stella up once again.
"Waverly, you had better not regret it," warned Lenold.
Waverly left with Stella, her expression remained stoic.
What she regretted the most was rescuing Lenold, the son of the wealthy Langham family. She was once infatuated with him. She thought that she had found happiness, but because of this, she had killed her neighbor, the one who truly loved her. That was the deepest pain in her heart.
"Help, someone, please help," shouted Waverly.
Jasper was looking for Stella. She was nowhere to be found after he came out of the shower. When he saw Waverly helping Stella up, he immediately hugged her and asked worriedly, "What happened to her?"
Waverly shifted uncomfortably. After all, she was not good at lying. She replied vaguely, "She fainted. It's best to find a doctor to come over and check on her."
"Okay, got it," Jasper responded and went into the room with Stella in his arms. He immediately called the doctor.
Waverly was baffled when she saw Jasper's looks of concern.
Bellamy had never cared about her that much.
He was always distant and indifferent to her. Everything seemed fine because he had always treated her with respect, but it gave her a feeling that he would send her away at any time. Perhaps, that was why he refused to provide her with love and care.
Waverly's eyes were damp. It felt as if her parents had sent her away, leaving her alone in the world.
She turned around and went back to the room and continued to study Russian. This was the seventh language she learned. If she could not have Bellamy's love, then she would become the woman who could assist him.
Stella woke up and saw Jasper's worried face. He was holding her hand tightly as he was afraid that she had fallen ill.
"I was drugged while I was walking around. I'm fine now. I'm 9 months pregnant. If the baby is fine now after inhaling the drugs, I think it'll be fine," explained Stella.
"You were drugged? Who did it?" Jasper asked with furrowed brows. He became even more worried.
"I don't know," Stella answered skeptically.
"We can't stay here with the Mccarthy family any longer. I have already negotiated with their leader. They will start the trial of Natasha's case tomorrow. After the trial, we will go back home to celebrate New Years'. Now, I will take you to the hospital to get a detailed examination," said Jasper as he helped Stella up.
"I will know whether I'm alright. I'm really fine."
"Let's take a blood test then," Jasper said stubbornly. A long time ago, Stella had been injected with a fatal virus but he was not aware of it, leaving her to suffer alone.
"It's better to be safe than sorry," Jasper added.
Stella finally agreed. There were many possibilities in the future. She could predict a few of them, but at the end of the day, they were just speculations. The most important thing was to do it right now.
The next day.
Sean's eyes were locked on Stella, who appeared on the computer screen.
Although Stella was pregnant, she still looked elegant in a suit.
"Natasha killed Weldon, and she is pregnant with his child. The Griswell family and the Mccarthy family have always maintained a good relationship. If it wasn't r*pe, I am unable to figure out the reason why Natasha would kill Weldon. If any of you are aware of the reason, please tell me," said Stella with a smile.
Sean also smiled. Stella was helping him, and he will remember this friendship. In fact, he still had a backup plan to achieve his goal even if Stella refused to help him. However, that would hurt too many people's feelings.
His phone rang. It was Beckham. He picked up the call.
"You won. Congratulations," Beckham happily congratulated him. "You have my admiration and respect."
"I've only won the first step. After that, all the public opinion will be focused on attacking the Mccarthy family. The Harington family will do everything they can to intensify the conflict between the Harington family and Mccarthy family."
Beckham said happily, "Victory is just around the corner. In the future, even Country M will be under your control. I'm willing to admit my defeat and learn from you. This is a really eye-opening experience for me."
There was a dark glint flickering in Sean's eyes. His true motive was beyond their imagination...
