Chapter 1051 What Will You Use?
"You..." Waverly paused. She wanted to ask Hayley if she had feelings for Joshua.
However, when she thought about it, Hayley was still a sixteen-year-old child.
No, a sixteen-year-old girl could be looking forward to love, too.
"Do you like Joshua?" Waverly finally asked.
"Between Joshua and Yadriel, I like Joshua. However, I like you better than Joshua, Madam. But between Mr. President and you, I still like you the most," Hayley replied naively.
Waverly was relieved. Hayley did not have much contact with men. That was why she said this. She should not have any special feelings for Joshua.
"I see. Let's call it a day. I'll have dinner and sleep early. I have to get up early tomorrow and go back to A Country," Waverly said and hung up the phone.
She continued her meal. Fifteen minutes later, she came out of the room.
There was no one else on the mountain. It was so dark that one could not see very far.
The air was slightly cool and refreshing but it also felt lonely.
Bellamy did not call.
If things went as planned, he would have tricked Yasmine. Waverly hoped that Yasmine would be sent back to the country by the time she headed to A Country the next day.
"Are you done eating?" Joshua walked over and asked.
"Yes. You guys can go and pack up."
"Master Joseph asked me to take you to rest. He wants you to have a good rest and will come to you in two hours," he said.
Waverly frowned.
Joshua noticed it and said, "Master Joseph is ill. Can't you be nicer to him? Do you really have to anger him?"
"Is it me who angers him or is he the one who is forcing me? I should be the one who is angry," she said unhappily.
He complained, "What do you mean by forcing you? You don't know how lucky you are to have Master Joseph as your suitor. Other men aren't as successful as him but they still have many women around them. On the contrary, you're his only woman. Last time, Yasmine tried to seduce him, but he sent her back without touching her at all."
She was shocked, "I am the only woman of Joseph? Are you kidding me? I already know some of them."
"Believe it or not, it's up to you. If you make Master Joseph angry, I'll do the same to you. We'll see," he said as he led the way.
She followed him.
Her room was arranged next to Joseph's room.
Waverly went to bed and thought about how to escape what would happen. The more she thought, the more painful her headache got. She laid on the bed for more than an hour and fell asleep because she was too tired.
After some time, she felt someone lying down beside her and she alertly turned on the bedside lamp.
"You're awake?" Joseph asked while looking at her.
"You..." She was nervous and couldn't think of anything for a moment, so she just stared at him.
The corner of his mouth curled up, "It's 12 o'clock now. You rested for more than an hour. Is that enough?"
She was annoyed. She pushed her hair back and remembered that it was fake. She pulled the wig down and threw it on the sofa, "It's late now."
"Is your period irregular every time?" He suddenly asked.
She paused. She lied to him last time saying she was pregnant and she was forced to go for a check up, but it turned out that she wasn't pregnant at all.
However, she hadn't had her period yet, "Yes, my period is irregular. Why do you ask?"
He shrugged, his eyes locked at hers when he thought about something.
Being stared at by him, Waverly had goosebumps. She asked, "Why are you looking at me like this?"
"I didn't know that your hair was this short. You look like a man."
She was bewildered.
His topic of conversation was getting weirder and weirder.
"Do you mean that I look like a woman only when my hair is long? If so, then many men can become women. Do you want to have a try?" She questioned.
A hint of coldness flashed across his eyes, "If I've become a woman, what will you use?"
She didn't want to talk about these topics with him in the middle of the night. She laid down and turned her back to him.
He approached her, put his arm around her waist and slipped his hands under her clothes.
She tensed up.
If she refused, people like Joseph would be more likely to go against her.
She didn't want to sleep with him. She felt irritated at the thought of it.
She really hoped that she would have her period right at this moment so that her crisis could be averted.
However, this world was not a place where whatever she wished would come true!
An entire night passed.
He didn't stop and she didn't sleep until dawn came. It was past 10 o'clock when she woke up.
She was annoyed and went out. There were two guards standing at the door.
"Where is Joseph?" Waverly asked grumpily.
"Master Joseph has gone back. This is your official document. He asked us to send you to the airport of the Department of External Affairs where there is a plane to send you to A Country," one of Joseph's men said.
She took the documents from the guard and flipped through them. It was an official document signed by the Department of External Affairs.
"What about the plane? What time is the flight? Will it be too late?" She asked worriedly.
"Master Joseph had contacted them. When you arrive depends on when the plane will take off," the guard replied respectfully.
"Where's Hayley?"
"She's still in her room."
Waverly called her.
"Madam." Hayley greeted her.
"We are ready to leave. You can come out." After saying that, Waverly hung up the phone.
She looked at Joseph's men and said, "Where is our luggage? It was in the car when we had the car accident."
"Don't worry, Madam. They are all in the car."
"Okay." She understood.
Since Joseph had promised to let her leave, everything was ready.
She got in the car. After a while, Hayley ran out carrying a plastic bag in her hand. The plastic bag was full of bread she had made that morning.
She sat down next to Waverly and handed her a piece of bread, "Madam, you haven't had breakfast yet. Have a piece of bread first."
Waverly took the bread from her and took a bite.
When the car left the mountain area, she called Bellamy.
Her call was declined by him.
She figured that he might be in a meeting at this time, so it was not convenient for him to answer her phone. Therefore, she did not call him.
Three hours later, she arrived at the airport. She looked at her phone but there was still no sign of Bellamy's call.
A meeting for three hours. Wouldn't he need to take a break?
She called him again.
Once again, he declined her call.
It had never happened before. Even if he was in a meeting, he would quickly call back after.
"Call Bellamy and tell him that I'll be there at about 4 o'clock in the afternoon." Waverly said to Hayley.
"Okay." Hayley made a phone call, "Madam, Mr. President declined my call. He may be busy."
Waverly thought for a moment and called Stella.
It rang three times before she answered the phone.
"Waverly, what's wrong?" Stella asked.
"Is Bellamy okay? I called him from 10 o'clock until now, but he still hasn't picked up," she asked worriedly.
