Chapter 1044 If It’s Yours, It Will Be Yours

"Are you really going back on your words? You promised to cooperate with me first," Waverly said. Without Bobe, it was like losing her arms and legs in M Country.
"Calm down, calm down. Why don't you ask around? For me, Bobe, going back on my words is a common trait I have. I am a contract terrorist, not a hot-blooded soldier. Also, don't feel wronged. I often go back on my words. You are not the only one I've cheated," he comforted her.
She was at a loss for words.
All she wanted to do now was to pour a bowl of soup on Bobe's head, "Why don't you think about it clearly? In the future, Joseph may not even have much power. If this hearing succeeds, Ronaldo will grant me the title of Peace Lady and my power in the Mccarthy family will be immense. I might even become the leader of the Mccarthy family."
"How can I consider? I also want Joseph to give me a chance to consider, but he has access to a list of my own men, including my hideouts all over the world. The moment he becomes upset with me, these lists can be exposed in just a second. My people will be dead meat and I'll be dead meat as well. He even knows the exact number of lairs I have around. Now tell me, how am I supposed to consider?" He became more agitated as he spoke.
Waverly was silent. Joseph definitely had this ability.
What she didn't expect was not only was he able to directly pinpoint the weaknesses of official bodies, he was able to do the same to contract terrorists as well.
Joseph was really a scary person. Even terrorists were afraid of him.
Could it be that he found out about Waverly's connections with Bobe, so he kept his eyes on him?
"You should stay calm," she said.
"I want to stay calm, too. I never had to follow anyone around so I just did whatever I pleased. If I see someone needing a little push, I'll gladly do so. I was free and living leisurely. Now, I am being suppressed. Do you know how miserable that makes me? This isn't some ordinary targeting either; it's crushing. I didn't even dare to utter a single word. In my entire life, this is the first time I am completely silenced. This is pissing me off! I feel like crying!" Bobe was sobbing and choking with emotions.
Waverly had nothing to say.
In her mind, she could only imagine a broad man with a height of 1.9 meters and weighing 200kg sobbing and wiping his tears.
She didn't know what to say.
"That Joseph boy is only 26 years old, isn't he?" He suddenly asked.
"Yes," she answered.
"I'm six years older than him. In my eyes, he's just a little boy. I am so embarrassed. This old man is completely mortified. I am so frustrated. Is Joseph a psychopath? Escaping the prison just to find me. This is making me so annoyed. Argh!" He continued to rattle on with his complaints.
The shadow of his psychological trauma could probably cover the entire earth.
"You're not the only one who is suppressed by him. There are many others as well," she said.
"Who are they? Right! There's Bellamy Chuck." Bobe loosened up, "Now that I think about it, I seem to be in a much more comfortable position. After all, Bellamy is a pretty great person."
She was dumbfounded.
She didn't want to talk to him anymore. He turned the tables on her, betrayed her, went back on his words, and he still wanted her to comfort him, "I'll hang up now."
"Don't! I'll say one last thing. When he found me, he was covered in blood and looked disastrous. However, his eyes were full of care and concern for you. I'm 32 and according to my calculations, he likes you."
Waverly lowered her eyes and calmly said, "You said more than one sentence."
"The first few sentences were all nonsense. The last sentence is what I really wanted to tell you. This is definitely the end. I think that you should stop fighting with Joseph. He does have a chance at becoming the king. When that happens, you can continue to be the President's wife. Don't you think it's a great pla..."
Before he could finish, Waverly hung up the phone.
The chef came in to deliver the meal.
Hayley noticed that Waverly's expression was not that pleasant. Hence, she didn't speak and was cautious.
During the meal, Waverly didn't eat much either. This could be because she was starving for the past few days. She felt as if her appetite became smaller. After just a few bites, she walked over to the window and looked outside.
The sky was dark. The street lights were gleaming.
The Spa Club was already empty. Hence, the darkness of the night only made everything seem even more pitch black.
Seeing that Waverly didn't eat anything, Hayley didn't eat much either. She stood behind Waverly and whispered, "Madam."
"I'm fine," Waverly said. She sat back in her chair and made a video call to Bellamy.
After three rings, he answered the phone.
He looked at her worriedly. His eyes were burning, and he did not say a single word.
She smiled, "There was a small accident, so I had to hide first."
"I understand. Yasmine is still here. She's refusing to leave. I'm afraid that as long as the negotiations don't go well, she won't leave," Bellamy figured.
"Now, there isn't any news about Joseph's death. I think he was able to live, but they will have a heated discussion about this soon and this matter will continue to develop. The contradictions will continue to intensify. However, it won't do us any good if we continue to wait. Hold on for one more day. I'll come by the day after tomorrow and discuss this matter with you. It's best to also think of a way to make Yasmine leave A Country as well," Waverly said rationally.
"I've already used different ways to make her leave over the past three days. She just doesn't want to leave. I'm afraid that Madam Lenny has already warned her that no matter what happens, she can't leave."
The corner of Waverly's mouth was pulled up and her eyes burst out a cold light, "What if she gets into trouble in A Country?"
Bellamy paused, nodded and also smiled, "I'm already making arrangements, but we can't be too deliberate. Otherwise, we'll end up having Madam Lenny as our enemy."
Waverly looked at him through the screen. For some reason, an oddly sorrowful feeling started to slowly creep into her heart, causing her blood to become as cold as ice.
He had been able to drive Yasmine away long ago, but he was worried that Madam Lenny would become his enemy, so he didn't do so.
"Bellamy," she shouted.
"Yes?" He replied as he always did.
She smiled gently, "If your negotiations with Yasmine are a success, that's equivalent to letting Madam Lenny win. She should be thankful to you then. Why don't you just hand over the credits to her? Madam Lenny is a smart woman. No matter how flawless your plan is, in this crucial moment, she could probably guess if you were deliberately forcing her away and it will still offend her."
"What nonsense are you spouting? If it's yours, it will be yours. What are you thinking?" He asked with a frown.
If it was hers, would it be hers too?
Unfortunately, there was nothing in this world that belonged to her.
After countless suffering and disappointment, her heart was just slowly becoming colder.
Joshua said that if Bellamy really loved her, he would not divorce her.
She knew that he did not love her. Hence, when she heard Joshua say those words, she did not feel sad. Instead, she felt dismal.
