Chapter 820 Some Happy, Some Sad
"Alright, let's have dinner," Jasper picked up the tools on the ground and said to Elvis, who was still working, "It's time for dinner. Let's eat together."
"Okay," Elvis put down the tools in his hand happily, turned on the tap, washed his hands, and smiled at Stella. He did not notice Lynette.
Stella smiled lightly and took Jasper's arm.
He looked at her. A feeling of warmth and sweetness arose from the bottom of his heart. Just by looking into each other's eyes, he felt that life was so beautiful.
They entered the house. Suzi had already prepared dinner.
"Mommy, Mommy," Sandro ran over again and handed the toy car to Stella.
Stella's heart softened. She picked Sandro up and kissed him on his soft face. "Sandro, do you like cars?"
"Cars can bring Mommy around," Sandro said as he smiled pleasantly.
Suzi walked up to Sandro and held his hand. "What about Grandma?"
Sandro pointed at Jasper. "Daddy, Daddy."
He was trying to say that he wanted to bring Jasper along too.
The corners of Jasper's mouth rose slightly.
Sandro noticed that Suzi was disappointed, so he pointed to Suzi's nose and said, "Grandma, Grandma."
Suzi smiled as she kissed his hand. "I've made dinner. Let's eat."
Anthea came over and said, "Mrs. Milton, allow me to feed the Young Master."
"Okay, thank you," Stella replied.
Anthea carried Sandro and set him down in his high chair. Then, she picked up his bowl and started to feed him slowly.
Elvis' gaze fell on Anthea. He smiled and his face turned slightly red.
After dinner.
Stella was applying her skincare after taking a bath when Jasper walked in. He took a look at her, then grabbed his clothes and headed to shower.
Lying on the bed, Stella opened her travel app and checked for flights from A Country to D Country. She eventually decided on booking a flight for the next day at 11.53 a.m.
Jasper came out from the bathroom and looked at Stella with his eyes burning.
Stella noticed his gaze and placed her phone down on the bedside table. She thought of something and said to Jasper, "How old is Elvis this year?"
"28, why?" Jasper asked in confusion.
"He's at the right age to marry and have children. I think he likes Anthea, and she likes him too. We should matchmake the two of them together," Stella said with a smile.
Jasper sat next to her and said, "I want to give Elvis a villa when he gets married. He's been with me for a decade after all."
"Sounds good. How old is Lynette?" Stella asked again.
"A little younger than Elvis I think, I'll have to check. Why? Do you want to matchmake her too?" Jasper put his arm around Stella's waist.
She smelled nice, and it was a relaxing smell. He moved in closer to her and his breath fell on her neck.
Stella felt his breath tickling her and pushed him away. At the same time, she backed away from him.
Jasper held her hand and said softly, "Don't push me away."
His voice was so soft that it penetrated right through to her heart. She even felt butterflies in her stomach. Before she could think of how to answer him, he kissed her on the lips.
Jasper was so dominant and fierce that she could not resist. Soon, she felt her insides stirring up as her body started getting hot.
Jasper was about to go in when Stella said vaguely, "Jasper, I'm ovulating now."
"Okay," he answered as he lifted her waist and went in even deeper.
His love was sometimes soft like a drizzle of rain landing gently on her body. Other times, it was like a hurricane sweeping over her. He carried on and on until he finished, but he didn't pull out of her.
Stella came to her senses and was about to speak when Jasper held her face and said, "Stella, let's have a daughter."
"Hmm?" Stella was slightly taken aback.
Jasper raised the corners of his mouth and kissed her on the lips without saying anything.
She liked children and she had also thought of having more. However, she and Jasper had just gotten back together, and she wasn't ready yet. Plus, Sandro needed a lot of care. If she got pregnant, naturally she would not be able to pay as much attention to him.
She let her thoughts run wild until she drifted off to sleep.
She had wanted to say something about Lynette, but she got interrupted and forgot all about it.
The next day, she slept until she woke up naturally. It was six-thirty in the morning, but Jasper was already gone.
She brushed her teeth and went out. Suzi was busy in the kitchen.
She did not disturb her. She went out to the courtyard and subconsciously walked to the back of the house. Elvis was busy, but Jasper was not there.
Elvis saw Stella and said with a smile, "Mrs. Milton, are you looking for the Chief? He went to supervise the soldiers' training. He'll be back at around seven-thirty."
"I see," Since she bumped into Elvis, she asked, "Elvis, what do you think of Anthea?"
"Uh..." Elvis was stunned. With a blushing face, he scratched his head and said, "She's nice, gentle, and kind. She is also a doctor. I have seen her several times when I was with Madam Shine, so I have a good impression of her."
"Do you need me to help you ask her what she thinks of you?" Stella asked.
"Mrs. Milton, what do you mean?" Elvis' eyes sparkled.
"You have to get married at some point. You've been following Jasper, and Anthea has been following me. If you guys are into each other, it's not a bad thing. Plus, Anthea is good with children," Stella said meaningfully.
Elvis smiled and said, "I'm afraid that she won't fall for a guy like me."
Stella paused for a moment. "What about Lynette? What do you think of her?"
Elvis' smile froze. "I used to be her comrade-in-arms, but now, I'm a little scared of her. In her eyes, I'm a disloyal villain. I'm embarrassed to face her."
"What if she likes you, and all her criticism is just her way of caring?" Stella asked tentatively.
"I don't feel that way for her, I don't feel my heart race when she looks at me."
"Do you feel that way with Anthea?"
Elvis lowered his head, scratched his head, and nodded.
"I see. Carry on with what you're doing. When I get back, I'll ask Anthea what she thinks," Stella said gently.
"Thank you, Mrs. Milton," Elvis saluted.
Stella had wanted to go look for Jasper, but when she got to the entrance of the courtyard, she realized she did not know where Jasper was supervising the training. Furthermore, he was working, it might seem a bit inappropriate for her to go over.
Hence, she went back to the yard and sat on the swing.
It was a cold November morning, the air was fresh and cool. It was quiet all around, and a sense of loneliness slowly crept in.
Elvis liked Anthea, and Anthea liked Elvis. Lynette was doomed to be hurt.
Lynette would be hurt if she were to set Elvis up with Anthea. To be honest, she wanted Lynette to break free from her own suffering. She had missed her opportunity, but now, she had to move on so that she could start over.
When she returned, she would have to guide Lynette and help her find a suitable partner. Stella wanted everyone around her to be happy.
