Waverly followed Ronaldo to the government cabinet. He dismissed everyone and asked her, "Joseph wishes to be the king, am I right? I've actually been a little suspicious about what had happened in Z Country."

Ronaldo's eyes widened in shock, "You're talking about Gollin Harington? But that's impossible! He does not have the capability."

"Is it not Joseph Mccarthy?"

Waverly sat across from him and said, "The Harrington family was originally the royal family. Ever since a few years ago, they were always suppressed by the Mccarthy family. Furthermore, they have always felt that you were incompetent and wanted to replace you. If they didn't think so, why would they open fire in your palace? Won't it become a disadvantage to you?"
"Do you really have the evidence?" He asked.
"I indeed have the evidence, but..." She paused.
"But what?" He asked in a hurry.

"The problem is, the assassination of the President has been raised to state affairs. This is definitely not something that he can solve alone. I think the reason Bellamy came to you in the first place was because he had already regarded you as a friend. I think this has already become a national issue and you, as the king, should know."
"What do you mean by national issue?" He asked, but in fact, he was already aware of it.

Waverly asked deliberately in order to convince Ronaldo that the Harington family was no longer loyal to him.

She analyzed and said, "Just like how the Mccarthy family are rivals with the Harington family, the rival of Bellamy is Beckham. If Gollin rises to power, he will definitely support Beckham as well. Therefore, Beckham would not want to settle the case."
Ronaldo was pondering the issue. He was pacing back and forth in the room.
Waverly was aware that he was deep in thought, so she didn't bother him. She had said and done whatever was necessary. As for now, all that's left was for him to figure out all the possible solutions.
On the other hand, if she continued to speak, people might think she had ulterior motives. In the end, the loss would outweigh the gains.
He looked at her and asked, "What do you think we should do so that A Country would not pursue the case?"
She replied, "This depends on how the two countries plan to coordinate and settle it. If A Country does not pursue the case, the loss that you, my King, might suffer, will be greatly lowered."
"I'll let you handle this case. If you succeed in convincing Bellamy to not pursue the case, you will be of great service to M Country and I shall grant you the title of being the Peace Lady," said Ronaldo.
In the past century, there had only been two Peace Ladies in M Country. One of them was the wife of the Minister of External Affairs, Madam Lenny. This was basically the chance to enjoy an official's salary, "I'll do my best."
"Will you be meeting Joseph before leaving?" He asked.
She shook her head. Then, she bowed her head, "I'll take my leave, Your Majesty."
He nodded, "Be careful. I'll make sure that I'll arrest the person that tried to assassinate you earlier."
"I would have been able to guess who the culprit is even without their arrest. Even with their arrest, the situation would still be ambiguous. Just as Uncle Thomson has said, what we want to see is peace, not a civil war. Thus, I hope Your Highness can remain in power for a long time as this will be the safest and the firmest plan," she said.
"I understand. I won't arrest that person. I'll deliberately free them now," he commanded.
Waverly's expression stayed the same, but her heart dropped in relief. It was also considered the first victory of the long battle.
"Could you also please issue a formal document to the Ministry of External Affairs? If possible, I would like to leave for A Country as soon as possible," she requested.
"Yes, I understand. I'll give Madam Lenny a call now," he nodded.
Waverly nodded as well and said, "I will now take my leave and patiently wait for the update."
On her way back, she received a call from Madam Lenny.
"Waverly, you truly have amazing skills. I can't even catch up with you," Madam Lenny said with a profound smile, as if she knew something. However, she didn't say it clearly. Instead, she used a smile to conceal her emotions.
"I just hope that the country will be peaceful and I will do my best to help with all humble effort. But whether it will succeed, I am not sure." Waverly did not disguise herself as putting up a fake front with a smart person would only make her seem hypocritical and cunning.
"You will definitely succeed. I have already completed the procedures for you and I have also sent an assistant for you. She should be able to help you plenty. You can also go ahead with the documents. I have already contacted A Country and also booked an eight o'clock flight tonight for you," Madam Lenny said in a strict business tone.
She didn't need an assistant. The assistant whom Madam Lenny provided was basically for keeping an eye on her. However, if she refused, it would mean that she was on guard against her. "If only my daughter Yasmine could learn to be as steady as you are, I won't have to worry about anything. Your resourcefulness has once again shocked me. I wish you a safe trip. When you return, I'll have you retained," Madam Lenny said courteously and hung up the phone.
The word "worry" was superbly used.
She was hinting if Yasmine was involved in, she would intervene.
