Chapter 1101 I Know That You Will Have A Way

"Okay," Boris caught up with Waverly.
"Aside from you, there is Agnes who is also our ally. Do you know her?" Waverly asked.
"Yes, I know her organization. They contacted me before, but I refused to join. We used to have some contact. We are not friends, but we are not enemies either," Boris said.
"I'm in a complicated situation now. I'm working in the Department of External Affairs, but I'm always ostracized from them. I'm from the Mccarthy family yet I'm also excluded by them. The man who was in the same room with me just now is Joseph Mccarthy. He isn't like what you think. Whether he's a friend or a foe, I still can't tell," Waverly said.
"What do you want me to help you with?" Boris asked.
"In M Country, I have neither money nor military strength. I don't have anything useful. What I can think of is the method that Stella previously used. However, my case is more complicated than hers. She just wanted to deal with Christian and Quinn. In addition to dealing with the enemy, I have to go onstage," Waverly told Boris directly.
"The Mccarthy family is rich and has military power. If you can take charge of the Mccarthy family, you'll have everything," Boris gave a suggestion.
Waverly explained, "My grandfather passed away suddenly. He must have been set up by Beckham. We reckon that Beckham has a video that is able to prove the Mccarthy family's innocence. Beckham seems to have cooperated with Joseph before. However, for some reason, Beckham chose the Harington family again. It's hard to tell what actually happened at that time. Due to my grandfather's sudden death, the rights in our family have been divided vaguely. That's why Uncle Thomson and Joseph have the main rights to our family's wealth. They each have one of the Mccarthy family's weapon research laboratories respectively."
"It seems that the situation of the Mccarthy family is incredibly complicated."
"My grandfather left four keys. Each of these four keys were given to my two uncles, my mother and my aunt to protect them. If one person can have all of the four keys, they will have the management rights of the Mccarthy family. Due to my grandfather's sudden death, the Mccarthy family's power has been divided greatly beyond control, which gives the Harington family a window of opportunity."
"So, if you get the four keys, you'll be the leader of the Mccarthy family?" Boris asked.
"Here's the thing. This is one of the methods. The second method is that when I go back, I should have a title and will be able to enter the cabinet from then onwards. I have some say in this matter, so I want to make an issue out of it."
"There is one thing that I don't know if I should say," Boris wanted to say something but stopped himself.
"You can say whatever you want. Don't worry. We are allies," Waverly said.
"Your reputation is terrible internationally. If you want to do something, you might encounter obstacles from all directions. If you can prove yourself innocent, with your status as the previous legal wife of the President, you won't have to worry about resources," Boris said.
"Prove my innocence?" Waverly paused. It was as if a lightbulb lit up in her mind, "It was impossible to prove myself innocent, but that's not the case anymore."
"If you can prove your innocence, with your contacts in the Department of External Affairs and your identity in the Mccarthy family, you will be able to continue expanding your connections. The wider the social circle you have, the higher your status will be. It will be more convenient for you to do anything you want then," Boris said.
"You're right. Although the issue regarding my grandfather was not done by Joseph, those videos were made by him. However, the person recorded in the video isn't me. If that person comes out to clarify the truth, I will be able to clear my name."
"Joseph plays the most important role here. If you can persuade him to let you go, your future will be much easier."
Waverly was deep in thought. After breakfast, she went back to her room.
Joseph was still sleeping.
She laid next to him and looked at him.
Joseph slowly opened his eyes and they looked into each other's eyes.
"You're good-looking. You don't mind me watching you, do you?" Waverly said.
Joseph's eyes were fixed on her, "Who are you?"
Waverly copied the way he smirked and asked, "Who do you think I am?"
"Waverly won't praise me for being good-looking," Joseph said with drooping eyes.
"I'm not blind. I know when a person is good-looking."
Joseph turned over and placed his hands on both sides of her body, "Are you feeling better now?"
Waverly encircled the back of his neck and did not shrink back, "I got up in the morning. I don't feel dizzy or have a fever. I think I'm fine."
A smile appeared on Joseph's face as his eyes flashed with joy, "Are you inviting me?"
"I thought about it afterwards and realized that you did a good job. If I try, I'm sure it'll feel rather good," Waverly said.
Joseph smiled, lowered his head and kissed her on the lips.
Waverly closed her eyes and kissed him back.
Since this was the first time that she had kissed him this way, she seemed to have aroused his enthusiasm.
He had been holding himself back for more than 20 years, but she had always been unwilling to do it.
It didn't take long for Joseph to start.
Waverly let out a soft cry.
He frowned, "Does it hurt?"
"It's alright. I'll be fine soon." Waverly said.
Annoyed and anxious, he kissed her lips, neck and collarbone.
Time passed by in a gentle manner. After becoming more passionate and changing her perspective, it was as if something else was changing as well. The act became less repulsive, revolting and disgusting to her.
Waverly made a soft sound, following his actions and kissing his ear.
"Waverly," Joseph called her name. An unknown emotion stirred in his heart, full of emotions and he was overjoyed.
"Hmm?" Waverly answered him and circled her arms around his waist.
He kissed her again.
After doing it for a long time, the two of them finally calmed down.
In the past, he would instantly leave to take a bath, as if he didn't care at all. He would be unhappy either as she did not cooperate. He could feel her disgust, rejection and lack of compassion.
During moments like those, his heart would feel like it was suffocating, as if there was a stone crushing it. He disliked her actions, so he wanted to see the real her behind her mask.
He liked her behavior just then, as gentle as water.
"Why did you suddenly change?" Joseph asked. He was worried that it was just a dream. It was a bit unreal.
"Human nature is hard to change. Don't think that I will change for the better. That would be impossible," Waverly replied to him.
Joseph raised his smile and said, "Why do I like your egoistic character now? If you were a man, I would definitely beat you up. You should feel lucky that you aren't one."
Waverly rolled her eyes, turned around and turned her back to him.
She could never figure out the meaning behind his words, so she stopped guessing.
Joseph wrapped his arms around her waist and placed his lower chin on the top of her head, "Are you angry?"
"I'm thinking about when we can go back. Yasmine should've gone back at this time, but she didn't call me. That's unexpected," Waverly said and changed the subject.
"She wants to wait for you to make more mistakes and catch your wrongdoings. The more the time you take off work, the more she will be able to make an issue out of it," Joseph said.
"Can't you think of a way for me to get out of this?" Waverly looked at him disdainfully.
She was certain that he must have a way.
