Chapter 986 Could It Be You?
Hayley pursed her lips and looked at Waverly with concern.
Waverly smiled. "I'll be fine. I know what I'm doing."
Hayley could only nod and watch Waverly leave.
Waverly arrived at the gate. After a while, Bobe's friend came driving a Maserati. He stopped in front of Waverly and got out of the car. Then, he opened the door and said with a smile in A Country's dialect, "Please enter."
Waverly nodded politely and got in the car.
He was quite the talkative one. While driving, he said, "My name is Hanold Fellow and I'm Bobe's friend. Yazoo is my senior. When I was in Y Country, he helped me out a lot. However, something happened, so I came back first. Later onwards, I went to A Country with my father to do some business. I often saw you on TV, and you look much better in person."
Waverly wasn't a friendly person, so she had no idea how to reply him. She only said two words, "That's nice."
"When Bobe said that you would attend the dinner. I was so happy that I would finally have a chance to see you in person," Hanold had been so busy looking at Waverly with a smile in his eyes and was not driving carefully.
"Um...you should look ahead," Waverly reminded him.
"Oh, you have a nice voice too," Hanold said with particular joy.
Waverly could see that there was no malice in his eyes and calmly looked forward.
"I watched your live show in A Country last time, the one where you believed that someone had framed you," Hanold said.
Waverly raised the corners of her mouth slightly and looked at Hanold, "Thank you for trusting me."

Hanold was quite cute when he smiled. He looked naïve, flirtatious, cheerful, yet handsome. Hayley would be a good match for him when she grew up.
"Tell me more about Yazoo. How much do you know about him?" Waverly asked.
"Yazoo is a kind person. When we were in Y Country, he was like a big brother to us. He took care of us and was generous. Every time we went out to eat, he would treat us. His equestrian skills were also really good. He was like a professional. We all went to see him. At that time, he opened a horse track in Y Country, which was an especially incredible feat. He likes red wine. He had two girlfriends when he was in Y Country. He dated one of them for two years and the other one for three years," Hanold told her everything he knew about him.
Waverly was quite fond of this carefree boy and she got along well with him.
Their conversation felt simple, direct and relaxed.
She had experienced too many schemes and calculations within these past 5 years of her life.
More plots and schemes would fill up her world in the future.
In the beginning, she had always wanted to treat people with sincerity and honesty.
"Does he have a girlfriend now?" Waverly asked.
"He's been a bachelor for more than a year. He dotes on women too much. Those girls didn't know how to cherish him. His first girlfriend in Y Country was discovered fooling around with another man and then broke up with him. His second girlfriend went too far. She got a lot of money from Yazoo through trickery and then also went on to do the same to other men. In the end, she got pregnant. They were about to get married, but Yazoo found out that she lied and broke up with her," Hanold said.
"Do you know him very well?" Waverly asked.
"Of course, we are like brothers. Although I came back earlier than Yazoo, I've been keeping in touch with him ever since," he said.
"Why did you come back from Y Country so early?" Waverly asked on a whim.

"December," Waverly answered.
"Oh my God, you are younger than me," Hanold said joyfully.
Waverly glanced at him and said, "Did you think that I was older than you?"
"No, you are just too mature for your age. Every time I saw you on TV, I always felt that you were sophisticated and graceful, yet you looked so young. It turns out that you really are younger than me, hahahaha!" Hanold said with enthusiasm.
Waverly chuckled. When she was with Bellamy, she would ignore her age and try her best to follow in his footsteps.
Although she was only twenty-six years old, it was as if she was already a thirty-six year old woman.
The car stopped at the Celestial Aroma Restaurant. There were lots of cars parked in front of the restaurant. It seemed that business was booming.
This restaurant had been opened within the past five years. It was bright and magnificent, just like the royal palace in Ancient Rome. There was a strange totem carved on the doorpost.
She remembered that it used to be a barbecue restaurant, but it only had two stories back then. However, it had been renovated and now had five stories which stood out in this street.
It also showed that the identity of the owner of this restaurant was quite special. Otherwise, it would be impossible for him to have the right to renovate and make houses.
Hanold took Waverly inside.
More than a dozen people had gathered inside to play cards, so no one noticed their entrance.
Hanold proudly brought Waverly to the crowd. "Yazoo, I'm here. This is my friend, Waverly," he introduced her to Yazoo, who was playing cards.
Yazoo stopped and turned upwards. He then looked in Waverly's direction.
Waverly also looked at him. After all, she had only seen him when she was still a child, so she had forgotten what he looked like.
However, when she saw his face, she felt like she was about to suffocate!
