Chapter 814 Don’t Take Advantage of Her

Bellamy and Jasper looked nearly identical. Stella felt like she was in a trance as she looked at Jasper.
Jasper held Stella's hand and replied to Bellamy, "You're back."
Bellamy's face lit up with a smile. Between his brows, his charming spirit was no less noticeable than before. "Congratulations. Every cloud has a silver lining, and your dark days are over."
"All the best to you too," Jasper stood on ceremony and said formally.
Bellamy's eyes dimmed, and his gaze fell on Stella's face. "If I had listened to you back then, perhaps the outcome would have been different."
Stella did not understand what he was saying.
Didn't Jasper say that he listened to her and married Waverly Martell?
"There is no turning back in life. There is no space for regret since you have chosen to live your life that way. Instead, you must enjoy each day of your life," Stella advised.
Bellamy smiled bitterly and did not continue to chat with Stella. He looked at Jasper and said, "I have something to discuss with you."
"Let's go to the study," Jasper said.
Suzi looked at Bellamy with a smile and said, "Are we having lunch here later?"
Bellamy nodded slightly. He didn't look friendly at all.
Suzi didn't care. She went to the kitchen and continued to wash the crabs.
Stella followed her into the kitchen and opened the fridge. There were a lot of ingredients in it. "Mom, what are you going to cook for lunch?"
Suzi put the washed crabs into a pot, closed the lid, and walked toward the refrigerator. "A tomato omelet, which is Sandro's favorite. Chicken soup with french onion, beef stew with mushrooms, and fried broccoli. Do you think these are enough? We have 20 crabs. The crabs are huge, and each of them weighs at least five or six pounds."
"That's more than enough. I'll help you with the cooking," Stella said.
"I can do it alone. You should accompany Sandro. It's also my wish to cook for you all," Suzi said with a smile.
Stella could not insist anymore. "Thank you for your hard work, Mom."
When she went out, she saw Anthea accompanying Sandro, whereas Lynette sat there in a daze, looking anxious and preoccupied.
"Are you still thinking about Elvis?" Stella sat beside her and asked.
Lynette came to her senses and said, "I wanted to forget about him. My godmother introduced a few people to me, but I don't click with any of them. I don't know what to do now."
"You still miss him, which means that he hasn't hurt you enough and this situation isn't disappointing enough for you. You still maintain one percent of hope for him. In a relationship, things will keep on dragging and you would trouble yourself unnecessarily if you don't end it quickly. Either you confess to him and be with him, or you will be rejected, and then you can completely give up," Stella suggested.
Lynette shook her head and said, "He won't agree."
"Why are you still so obsessed with him then? You said that he wouldn't agree, but it's just your cowardice. In fact, you still have hope of being with him, which is even worse. You have already walked into the troubles that you created yourself," Stella said cruelly.
"I just want to accompany my godmother. I'm not interested in relationships. I'll just take it one step at a time," Lynette lowered her head and said.
"Then don't let yourself be in a daze nor let your thoughts run wild. Don't let him affect all of your emotions. Also, Elvis isn't young anymore. He's been following Jasper for so many years. Now that Jasper's career is stable, it's time for him to find a partner for Elvis. I'll arrange a blind date for him. Should I give you a chance?"
Lynette looked at Stella in surprise and murmured, "Mrs. Milton, are you going to arrange a blind date for Elvis?"
"I do have such plans. I want our people to be happy," Stella said lightly.
Lynette's eyes turned red and she lowered her head.
She could neither refute Stella's decision nor say a word about it.
Stella looked at her and said, "Your self-pity is useless. On the contrary, it's a burden for others and makes other people worry. If you give up decisively and look for your happiness, then I'll arrange a blind date for you. Otherwise, you could try to fight for it, keep on forcing it, and complaining about it in such a peculiar manner. You're not Juliet, and the one you love is not Romeo. You don't have to be so sentimental and dramatic like her."
"What if Elvis still doesn't like me?" Lynette asked worriedly.
"You are not worried that he doesn't fancy you, but it is your poor self-esteem that makes you afraid that you will end up embarrassing yourself. The reason why he doesn't fancy you is not because you are not good, but because you both are not destined to be together. Do you understand? Don't be afraid of embarrassing yourself because of your low self-esteem," Stella made it clear.
She had never felt so self-abased before she was disfigured. However, she became especially so after picking up hints of Elvis's rejection.
"I'll be on my own," Lynette said, lowering her head.
Stella was disappointed as Lynette did not turn out the way she'd hoped. She then said, "That's fine. Anyway, the Milton Family will always consider you one of theirs. I'll go see Sandro."
Stella got up and went to Sandro. "Mommy will take you out for a walk, okay?"
"Let's go, let's go, let's go," Sandro asked for Stella's embrace with his arms wide open.
Stella picked him up and walked out of the door.
There was a very big courtyard outside the door.
She had directly followed Jasper into the room when they arrived. Then, the President came, so she hadn't taken a good look at the courtyard yet.
There were ivy tendrils on top of the walls of the yard. Since the ivy had been planted a long time ago, it had blanketed the wall.
There was a small orchard beside the house inside the courtyard walls. It was not big, but there were several fruit trees, such as tomato, pear, blueberry, apricot, apple, and orange trees.
These trees had been there for a very long time. Their trunks were very thick, and the trees were tall.
Now there were no pears left, neither were there blueberries. The oranges looked very good, especially the bright red tomatoes. Because they were not plucked, the tomatoes had fallen to the ground, and there was not much left.
Tomatoes and crabs could not be taken at the same time, so she didn't pick them up.
They went around the orchard and reached the back of the house. There was a high wall, but there was also a large open space. The wall was twenty meters from the house. Such a long distance was enough to build a small playground for a little child. They could dig a small pond to rear fishes and plant all kinds of flowers. Then, they could also take Gracie back and bring her a partner to mate, then she would give birth to a lot of little Gracies.
"Sandro, how about I build a playground for you?" Stella asked Sandro.
Sandro pointed to the window upstairs and opened his small mouth, "Daddy."
Stella followed Sandro's line of sight and looked upstairs.
Bellamy smiled slightly at Stella. His smile was very polite and he slightly nodded.
"He's not Daddy. He's your Uncle. Call him Uncle," Stella corrected.
"Uncle," Sandro corrected himself, confused.
Hearing Stella's voice, Jasper also walked to the window.
Seeing two fathers, Sandro was stunned for a moment. He looked at Jasper and then at Bellamy. He pointed at Bellamy and shouted, "Daddy."
Bellamy's heart melted because of Sandro's cuteness. He beamed, and his eyes were filled with gentleness. "She could still differentiate me from you with a single glance."
"Bell, don't take advantage of Stella," Jasper growled in a low voice.
