Chapter 1063 Everything Will Be Fine When You're Used To It

Bellamy bought too many flowers, and it was impossible for the two of them to plant all of them in a day.
The servants got to work as soon as Waverly told them where to plant the flowers.
At ten o'clock, Bellamy's phone rang.
After he answered the phone, he looked at Waverly and said, "My mother urged us to go over to her place. Let's go."
"I want to buy her some gifts at the mall first," Waverly said.
"I've prepared it. It's on the plane. I'll tell you in detail when we get on the plane," Bellamy told her.
As Waverly was tired and sleepy, she simply replied, "Okay then."
As soon as she got into Bellamy's car, she closed her eyes and fell asleep.
Bellamy looked at her tired face and his eyes darkened.
He wanted her to stay in A Country if possible. After all, the media had settled down and everything was going smoothly. Besides, the public thought that the video was fake and they were even moved by the couple's feelings for each other. Therefore, Bellamy believed that they would get together in the near future.
After a while, they arrived at the airport.
Bellamy carried Waverly who was still sleeping
She opened her eyes slightly and looked at him.
"Go back to sleep. I'll wake you up when we arrive," Bellamy said softly.
Thus, Waverly closed her eyes and fell back asleep.
When she woke up again, Bellamy was lying beside her inside an RV. He was watching her.
Waverly was startled and she quickly sat up, asking, "What time is it?"
He glanced at the watch on his wrist as he replied, "It's almost 12 o'clock. You woke up on time. We only need a few minutes to get there, so there's no hurry."
"Have I been sleeping in the car all this time?" Waverly noticed that she slept so soundly that she didn't even remember getting off the plane.
"Hmm. Take a look at the gifts I prepared. This one is for my mother." While speaking, Bellamy handed her a jewelry box.
Inside the jewelry box was a pearl necklace.
"You've prepared everything, and yet I've done nothing to help. It's quite embarrassing." Feeling somewhat guilty, Waverly expressed her gratitude.
"We're family. Don't worry about it."
"Stella's son is called Sandro, right? I have forgotten her daughter's name..." Waverly then asked. She remembered Stella mentioning it before, but at that time, Waverly's mind had been too preoccupied that she could not recall.
"Her name's Angela. She inherited the good bits of both Stella and Jasper. Her eyelashes are long and she looks like a doll." When talking about the children, Bellamy revealed a kind, fatherly smile on his face.
Waverly knew that Bellamy liked Sandro much. The boy was Stella's youngest son.
She also knew their story. Back then, they were uncertain if Jasper was dead or alive, and they feared that Stella would commit suicide. Therefore, Bellamy pretended to be Jasper and stayed by Stella's side. During those days, Stella was pregnant with Sandro and so Bellamy always regarded himself as Sandro's father. He had a special bond with the child.
Thus, Sandro acknowledged Bellamy as his godfather.
"Stella and Jasper are a good looking couple. Their children will look good no matter who they take after," Waverly remarked with a smile and then looked out of the window.
An image flashed across her mind and she saw Jasper's soldiers training under the sun. The air was filled with strong male hormones and passion.
Jasper was a good soldier and the soldiers he trained were also among the best.
Those glorious days were now just a memory of the past.
After a while, the car entered Jasper's yard.
Waverly heard the dogs barking and she looked over subconsciously. There were a few military dogs that looked spectacular. Elvis, one of Jasper's men, had married one of Stella's subordinates and the couple had a child. Now, Elvis was working for Stella while living a happy life with his wife.
For some reason, it seemed to Waverly that she had slipped into a different world here.
The atmosphere was bustling and warm. She did not feel alone. Neither was there conspiracy or danger lurking around, but there were only genuine people who cared for each other.
Suzi came out of the room, and her gaze shifted from Bellamy's face to Waverly's. She then smiled and said, "You're back."
Waverly had used to address Suzi as "Mom". Suzi was a warm-hearted person. She was gentle, educated, and knowledgeable. She was a real lady from a respectable family. Unlike Melinda, who was nothing compared to Suzi.
"Auntie," Waverly greeted. She and Bellamy had divorced, hence it was inappropriate to call her mom.
Suzi paused for a while and said, "It's good that you're back. Come in and have a seat. It must've been tiring to take the plane."
"Thank you. This is a gift for you." Waverly handed the gift to her.
"I'm happy as long as you're here. You don't have to bring a gift," Suzi said kindly as she received the gift.
She was fond of Waverly and was also aware of Bellamy's lingering feelings for the latter. She couldn't help but think that it was a pity.
After Waverly entered the house, Sandro ran out with a gun while shouting, "Uncle Bellamy, you are finally here! I've missed you so much!"
Sandro threw himself straight into Bellamy's arms.
Bellamy laughed as he replied, "Why did you miss me? Do you want me to play games with you again?"
Sandro scratched his head in embarrassment as he said, "You're the only one who's good enough to play with me."
Bellamy stroked Sandro's head, teasing, "Why do I feel like you're flattering me just to get me to play with you?"
Sandro pouted. "Dad and Mom only care about Angela. They feed her and carry her all day. So I only have you, Uncle Bellamy. Please take me to the President's Mansion with you. I want to live there."
"What nonsense is that? We carry Angela because she is still a baby. She doesn't know how to eat yet so we need to feed her," Jasper explained as he walked out of the study.
"Don't lie to me. You value girls more than boys. Grandma told me that I have two brothers, but they are nowhere to be seen," Sandro argued haughtily.
Jasper frowned. He was a man of few words, and he looked stern and serious whenever he fell silent.
Seeing this, Sandro hid behind Bellamy in fear.
Bellamy said, "Children's words carry no harm. Sandro is still young. You and Stella should put more effort into taking care of him. Both of you have been away for many years and he grew up alone. Now that you're finally back, you should treat him better."
"You're right, Bellamy." Just then, Stella came out with Angela in her arms. She placed Angela into the cradle as she added, "We'll be more attentive in the future."
While saying that, Stella's gaze fell on Waverly's face and she said with a smile, "You are back."
Waverly looked at Stella. It had only been two months since they last met but Stella was much chubbier than before.
She felt that Stella looked much better now. Stella appeared to be more comfortable and motherly. Even though she had put on weight, she was still beautiful.
"This is for you," Waverly said. She took the shapewear which Bellamy had bought and handed it to Stella. She said to her, "I heard that it'll help speed up your recovery after childbirth."
"Thank you. It just so happened that I wanted to get one too," Stella said with a delighted smile.
Waverly's eyes dimmed.
She realized that Bellamy would always put in the effort to get what Stella wanted.
Despite what she wanted, he had provided her rival with them.
It must be because Bellamy and Stella were closer...
Waverly thought to herself that everything would be fine once she got used to it.
