Chapter 821 I Haven't Left But I'm Already Reluctant To Go

The minutes ticked by, and it became too cold for Stella to just sit there.
She went downstairs and started practicing the boxing techniques that Jasper had showed her before. She practiced for about three rounds until her face was drenched in sweat. Then, she went back in and headed for the shower.
"Stella, it's time for breakfast," Suzi said.
"Okay, thanks, Mom. I'll take a shower first. Is Sandro up yet?" Stella subconsciously looked towards his room.
"He slept very late last night, so he's still sleeping."
Stella smiled when she thought of just how adorable Sandro looked, and she went to take a shower.
She did not want to have another baby for the time being as she felt that it was too soon. Hence, she had to buy some contraceptive pills before getting on the plane.
Jasper had already come back when she came out of the shower. He put his arms around her waist and kissed her on the forehead. "Morning."
"What time did you wake up this morning? You were already gone when I woke up at 6.30 a.m.," Stella was curious.
"The soldiers have their training at 5.30 a.m., so I went over at 5 a.m.," Jasper entered the room.
"Do you have to do this every day?" Stella's heart ached for Jasper.
"The circumstances are rather peculiar, but I don't have to go every day. The soldiers are the ones who have it hard. I have a meeting later at 8.30 a.m. What time is your flight?" Jasper asked as he washed his hands.
"11.53 a.m., but I'll have to be at the airport two hours earlier. I'm going to pack my bags and head out after breakfast," Stella said.
Jasper was stunned, and he turned to look at her. "So soon?"
"It's more than an hour's drive from here to the airport. I'm already cutting it close."
"Don't go by car. Get the plane to send you there, it'll only take half an hour. I'll get someone to help you get your boarding pass first. That way, you would only need to reach the airport at 11 a.m. My meeting will take about an hour and a half. I'll send you there once I'm done. You'll definitely make it," Jasper wiped his hands and said.
"Just focus on your meeting. No need for the plane, that's a little too much. You could just get someone to send me to the airport. It's not like I'm leaving and never coming back. I'll come right back after I finish my business," Stella said with a smile.
Jasper held her arm and looked at her with burning eyes. He did not speak, but his gaze said a lot.
Stella looked at him quietly.
In the end, Jasper compromised. "Give me a call when you arrive in D Country."
"I will video call you," Stella said with a smile.
"Alright, let's have breakfast," He took her hand and led her down the stairs.
Suzi brought them two plates of pancakes. "I made these myself, have a try."
"Did you make them from scratch? Amazing," Stella praised.
"When Jasper was a child, he saw someone eating pancakes and he really wanted to try them. So, I learned how to make them," Suzi explained.
"You really are the best mom in the world," Stella said.
Suzi looked at Jasper.
He still looked indifferent and nonchalant as he lowered his head and ate his pancakes.
"I've also fried some bacon on the side. Take your time," Suzi brought over a plate of bacon.
The bacon was nice and crispy. It was a nice contrast to the pancakes and maple syrup.
"It's so nice to have someone taking care of us," Stella sighed.
Suzi smiled. "As long as you both don't mind, I will always take care of you guys."
"Mommy, Mommy," Sandro's voice rang out as he ran to Stella happily.
"Sandro, what about me?" Suzi bent down.
"Grandma, Daddy, Mommy, Mommy," Sandro rushed towards Stella and wrapped himself around her leg.
Stella picked him up and fed him a small piece of bacon.
Sandro made cute little puckering sounds as he ate. His mouth was a little oily and red, and his face was soft and pink. Stella could not help but kiss him on his cheek.
Sandro kissed Stella back, leaving an oily mark on her face.
Stella was very happy. "Sandro, I'm heading out later and I'll only be back after a few days. What present do you want? I'll buy whatever you want."
Sandro looked at Stella and said, "I want to go too."
"You have to stay home. Your Daddy has built a playground just for you. I'll be back soon," Stella said as she rubbed his nose.
"Mrs. Milton, allow me to take care of Sandro," Anthea smiled as she picked Sandro up.
Sandro looked at Stella and stretched his hands out, indicating that he wanted Stella to feed him.
Stella did not have much time left as she still needed to pack her belongings. She looked at Sandro, unwilling to part with him. She planned to stay here and spend some time with her son after Sean's matter was resolved. Moments like this were so blissful.
"Be good, I'll go bring you some more bacon. Grandma cooked them herself," Stella stood up and walked into the kitchen without Sandro. She served another portion of bacon and put them onto the plate. Then, she went upstairs to pack up her suitcase.
After Jasper finished his breakfast, he came up to the room and hugged Stella from the back.
Stella looked at him and smiled. "I'll only be gone for a few days, it's not as though I won't be coming back. You're making it very hard for me to leave."
Jasper lowered his head and kissed her lips. Stella took a step back and said helplessly, "I really don't have time anymore."
"In that case, then let the plane send you there," Jasper said domineeringly. He held her chin and kissed her lips.
She couldn't resist him, so she eventually gave in. It was fine as long as she took the plan B pill within 72 hours. Anyway, she could always buy it once she lands in D country.
Half an hour had passed by the time they were done. Stella looked at the clock and found that it was already 8.30 a.m.
"Your meeting is starting, hurry up and go. Remember to get someone to take me to the airport," Stella closed her suitcase hurriedly.
"Do you really not need me to accompany you?" Jasper asked again.
Stella smiled. It seemed that Jasper really wanted to accompany her. There were times she felt that he was very mature, but other times, he could be just like a child.
"Wait for me to come back," Stella kissed him on the cheek.
Reluctantly, Jasper asked Elvis to send Stella to the airport.
On the way, Stella once again organized her luggage to make sure that she hadn't forgotten anything. She saw a pharmacy along the way and said, "Elvis, stop by the road, I need to buy something."
"Okay," Elvis stopped by the side of the road.
Stella quickly went to the pharmacy to buy a plan B pill and a bottle of water from a convenience store nearby. She got in the car and ate the medicine.
"Mrs. Milton, are you not feeling well?" Elvis asked worriedly.
"I'm fine," Stella said ambiguously. She looked out of the window and changed the topic. "How long will it take for us to reach the airport?"
"Don't worry. The Chief will arrange for someone to check-in for you. We'll be fine as long as we arrive by 11.20 a.m. He also said that the airline's food isn't nice, so he has instructed me to bring you to eat at 10 a.m. before sending you off."
"I just had breakfast an hour ago. It is still a little early to eat. I'm not hungry, so that won't be necessary. You can send me straight to the airport."
"The Chief said that I should go to the restaurant and get takeouts if you refuse. This is so that you could eat it on the plane."
Stella was speechless.
How worried was he that she wasn't eating enough!
