Chapter 875 He Must Get Rid Of Her Suitors

"I still need to go to work today," she told Sean softly.
"The students have already left and you don't have anything else to do. It doesn't matter if you don't go to work today."
"Then I would have to apply for leave."
Sean smiled and said, "Give me a minute. I'll get you the phone."
Sean got out of the quilt immediately, put on a jacket, and went downstairs. He came back shortly with her mobile phone.
Eli was extremely touched that Sean was so kind to her.
She realized that her students had called her and left her countless messages. She immediately called the class monitor, saying, "I'm so sorry, something urgent came up yesterday so I didn't have the time to return your calls."
"It's not a problem, Miss Wayne, but you'll have to treat us next time!"
"No problem, I will treat the whole class to a meal once school reopens, alright?" Eli said.
"Thank you, Miss Wayne. Have you read the text message?" the class monitor asked curiously.
"Not yet. I returned your call first, in case you got worried."
"Well, okay, Miss Wayne, wishing you a Happy New Year in advance."
"Happy New Year to you too." Eli hung up the phone after that and proceeded to check her messages.
Many of her students wrote to her to express their thanks. One of them, Holland Turner, wrote a long, densely packed message that looked as though there were approximately 2000 words.
Eli wanted to swipe the message away after opening it as she thought it was sent to her by mistake. However, after looking at the first sentences, she was shocked...
"Eli,
Actually, I have liked you for a long time. From the first time I laid my eyes on you, I thought, how could there be such a beautiful girl like you in the world? From your figure to your smile, your aura to your personality, your temperament to your appearance, you are exactly the kind of girl that I liked.
I still remembered that time when I forgot to bring my wallet with me, but I still foolishly ordered a lot of dishes at the cafeteria.  Coincidentally, you were standing behind me, and you eventually paid for the meal. After flashing me a smile, you turned around and left.
At that moment, it felt as though I was possessed. I started to think of you day and night wherever I go. I would be ecstatic whenever I could catch a glance of you. If you glanced at me, I would be happy the entire day..."
Before Eli could finish reading, Sean took her phone from her and read the contents, his face growing paler.
Eli leaned toward him and continued to read.
She couldn't believe that she had received a love letter. She felt that this boy could write quite well.
"My name is Holland Turner. I am 21 years old this year. I am 1.92 meters tall and I weigh 71 kg. My father is Glenn Turner and my mother is Cindy Swan. I am the only child in my family. My father is a Captain and my mother is a Lieutenant. The amazing thing is that my mother is much older than my father. I love basketball and I admire Jasper Milton. I have always wanted to have a girlfriend like you..."
Sean deleted the message even before Eli could finish reading it.
Displeased, Sean looked at Eli and asked, "You bought drinks for him?"
Eli was baffled. She had not read that part of the message yet.
Seeing Eli's confused look, Sean reminded her, "It was when he was in a basketball competition during PE class."
"Oh." Eli remembered. "I bought a large box of drinks when I saw them on sale in the supermarket that day. I actually intended to leave them at the office and drink them slowly.
But I felt exhausted when I was carrying it on the way to the office. It was still quite a distance to get to the office, so I regretted buying all those drinks.
He just happened to walk past me that day. He was one of the students in my class. I saw that they were playing basketball and having a PE class, and they were sweating profusely, so I gave all the drinks to him and asked him to distribute them to the other students."
With Eli's personality, Sean thought that it was very much like her to do such a thing, "You might have made him misunderstand."
"I have to take a look at myself in the mirror quickly. A 21-year-old boy actually confessed his love for me. I couldn't find even find a boyfriend when I was younger. Am I at the peak of my life now?" Eli said jokingly.
Sean was not amused by her joke. He knew exactly how popular she was among the men when she was younger.
She did not know how difficult it was for him to get rid of her suitors.
Seeing his solemn expression, Eli stopped smiling and asked, "Are you taking this seriously? This may be just a dare after they drank too much last night. I'm already in my thirties, but this child is only 21 years old. It's simply impossible."
Sean held Eli tightly in his embrace.
She may be smart and talkative, the fact was that she was clueless when it came to relationships.
He had liked her for many years, but she did not believe him at all.
This boy liked her, this was described clearly in his detailed writing. These were clearly the struggles faced by a lovesick boy.
How could it be just a dare? Who would write a 2000 word message as a dare? Even a 200-word message was enough to make him upset.
"Don't get too close to him in the future," Sean grunted.
"We are not even close to begin with, so I believe that they were just joking," Eli assured him.
Sean frowned and said, "If he still pesters you, please make an effort to explain things to him clearly."
"Alright. I'll do that," Eli said cheekily.
Sean gritted his teeth and kissed her on the lips.
Eli closed his eyes while Sean turned her over, and everything else just happened naturally.
There was a knock on the door.
Sean frowned and ignored it.
The people outside were not dumb. Hearing the muffled noises in the room, they left the breakfast platter on the floor and left.
"What if they came over to discuss an urgent matter with you?" Eli asked worriedly.
"They wouldn't have stopped knocking at the door if it was urgent. Please focus on me," Sean said and lifted her by the waist.
"It's cold."
Sean was speechless.
After that, Eli snuggled in the bed while Sean ordered someone to send breakfast to their room.
She only got up when breakfast was delivered to the room. As she was putting on a down jacket, she felt as though she had gone back to the days when she was still staying at the President's mansion. "We left the mansion in a hurry years ago and left Hulk behind. Where is he now?"
Sean shook his head and replied, "We left in a hurry then. I didn't think of anything else except you. Someone in the mansion might have adopted Hulk and brought him back home. It's also possible that he is still in the mansion and became a stray dog. I'll send someone to check on it another day."
"Forget it. Maybe he has a new master now. After all, he was very young when we left at that time. I didn't take good care of him then, and we have been separated for five years."
"Do you still want to keep a dog?" If she did, he would ask someone to bring a dog over the next day.
Eli shook her head and replied, "I can't take good care of it. Besides, there are a lot of puppies at Stella's place. I could just go over to her place to play with the puppies. Do you know how Stella is doing in Country M right now? Did Natasha kill Weldon? I was actually thinking, what will happen if Natasha didn't kill Weldon?"
"Who else would have killed him if not Natasha? Where did she go during this period of time? All these indications suggest that Natasha was the one who killed Weldon."
"Why? I don't understand."
"Why don't you call Stella and ask her? She'll give you the most direct answer," Sean replied with a smile.
There was a hidden meaning in his smile. It was as though everything was within his control...
