Chapter 1071 If Everything Has A Purpose, Life Would Be Too Boring
"Joseph, you are so childish!" Waverly scolded angrily.
"I'm childish? Fine, let's do something mature then!" A cold gaze flashed through Joseph's eyes, and he tore off her clothes in the next moment. Without a second of doubt, he had directly overpowered her.
Waverly's entire body trembled because of the pain. And she struggled desperately to escape. However, his weight was as heavy as a mountain and she couldn't move at all.
She could only bear it. Feeling helpless and furious, she wanted to bite his neck.
But Joseph grabbed her face as if he knew what she was going to do.
Then, Waverly tried to bite his hand but failed. After more than ten minutes, he got what he wanted, thus he sat up and switched on the lights.
Meanwhile, Waverly's heart was ranging in burning anger. Having been freed from his grasp, she lunged forward to attack his neck once again.
Joseph dodged to a side, and she seized the chance to bite him on the shoulder.
He looked at her calmly. She had bitten him on the same spot where she had left a mark previously. He smirked and asked, "Do you not want to get some information anymore?"
Hearing this, Waverly let go and glared at him.
At that moment, she was in an utter mess. The disheveled wig on her head was tilted in another direction, while many of her buttons were undone. Her clothing was wrinkled and her eyes were red.
Joseph tore her wig off and threw it aside.
Instantly, Waverly appeared to be much fresher.
He stared at her quietly. The short haircut looked quite beautiful on her.
He felt that it suited her wild temperament more. After that, he smiled again and asked, "Don't you want to know what I've done to Bellamy?"
"I know you've released venomous snakes into the mansion. How vicious could you be? Do you think this is amusing?" Waverly gritted her teeth as she retorted.
"What venomous snakes? Do you really think I'm that childish?" Joseph asked in return.
"You even brought me to the wolf's den last time!" Waverly reminded him.
Joseph replied with a strange expression on his face, "I didn't do it. Snakes are more timid than cats. They wouldn't even bite anyone if they are released. Besides, the venomous snakes would be hungry and lazy in this season. They wouldn't even want to move. Why would I release them?"
Waverly frowned. "It wasn't you?"
Joseph looked at Waverly expressionlessly as if he didn't want to explain any further.
After giving it a thought, Waverly believed him.
He was the kind of person who would admit his misdeeds and feel proud of himself.
"Besides you, who else could secretly release the venomous snakes into the President's Mansion? Would he also know about the secret passage?" Waverly asked on purpose.
"There are many people who knew about the secret passage in the President's Mansion. Sean doesn't live there anymore, and it's impossible for him to stay there any longer. He could have spread the words to many other people and they would spread to even more. The only one who doesn't know is Bellamy," Joseph's smirk grew wider as he spoke sarcastically.
"That's also thanks to you, right?" Waverly deadpanned.
He smiled and leaned lazily on the bed, saying, "Of course, it's my pleasure. There's no need for me to keep secrets for someone I don't like. I'm not stupid."
Waverly knew it.
By the way, what was the object she had stepped on earlier?
She looked under the bed and was stunned.
There was a flower bed made of three big tires on the ground, and the tires were filled with Schlumbergera truncata.
Not only on the right side of the bed decorated with the cactuses but also on the left side and the front.
"You..." Waverly was puzzled. She frowned and looked at Joseph. "Why did you do this?"
"I thought you like this kind of cactus?" Joseph glanced at her indifferently.
"Since when did I say I like them?"
"Oh well, I guess that farmer is going to be in trouble. He told me that you were looking at the flowers for a long time. Perhaps he doesn't need his useless eyes anymore."
Waverly's heart skipped a beat. She suddenly remembered and said, "I was looking at them. Don't simply kill innocent people."
Joseph revealed a toothy grin. "You finally admit it."
"You are really silly!" Waverly cried.
Joseph's gaze turned cold as he uttered, "It's romantic when he sends you flowers, but it's silly when I do it. Waverly, what's with your double standards?"
She argued, "I would also feel very annoyed when he sends me flowers, so I never asked for much."
"You call two trucks of flowers not much?"
"I didn't know he would buy it with the trucks," Waverly replied.
"You keep saying you don't know about this and that. I think there are too many things you aren't aware of." While speaking, Joseph turned over and pressed her down on the mattress.
Waverly's whole body tensed up in an instant. "You got what you wanted just now."
"Exactly, that was just now." Joseph kissed her ear.
Waverly pushed his face away. "What was it that you wanted to tell me? What about the information? You haven't told me yet."
Joseph put his hands on both Waverly's sides and gazed down at her with a sarcastic look. "There was no reason for them to hurt you, yet they got away with it easily. Waverly, you are so fierce with me but become a coward when you're facing them. Is it because I look like a pushover?"
"What? What do you mean?" Waverly couldn't understand his words.
Joseph smirked and explained, "Yasmine asked one of her girls to sleep with Bellamy's men and then said that she was r*ped. Yasmine threatened Bellamy with it and he had no choice but to cooperate with her. I'm sure you knew about this."
Waverly nodded. "That subordinate has been working for Bellamy for many years, even way back when he was not the president yet. That guy was Bellamy's confidant. It is only normal for him to make some sacrifices for Bellamy."
"But he sacrificed you. I made you come here so that you could become the Peace Lady. Once you succeed, you would have a higher status and your life would be better," Joseph said. His gaze was very deep, and Waverly could not tell what he was thinking.
"This is my life. Didn't you know everything about it? Don't tell me that you don't know anything about Madam Lenny's plan. I even thought that it was your idea," Waverly said defensively.
"I'm not involved in this at all. If I didn't want you to become the Peace Lady, I wouldn't have let you out. However, since Yasmine did that, there's no reason for me to let her get away easily. I'm going to teach them a lesson," Joseph replied with a smile.
Waverly was even more puzzled. "You want to teach Yasmine a lesson?"
Joseph chuckled and answered meaningfully, "This is called the emperor's strategy, it means that he will not let anyone become spoiled. It would be a big problem in terms of management. I have already posted their video on the Internet. It will make a huge headline tomorrow morning, and it'll be a great show to watch. Anyway, you won't be affected this time."
"What is your purpose?" Waverly asked skeptically.
Joseph kissed her ear and whispered, "If everything has a purpose, life would be too boring. Waverly, you should let go of your purpose. It's good to catch some breath."
Waverly was deep in thought as she pondered his words.
No one could ever tell whether he was telling the truth.
If she believed that he had no purpose, she would be too innocent.
While Waverly was deep in thought, Joseph continued to ravage her effortlessly.
