Chapter 103: The Turner Family is Not Worthy Mentioning!

William sat next to Mary and noticed Wade and Daniel approaching with sinister looks on their faces.

"William, why are you sitting on the outermost seat? This used to be where I fed the dog," Wade said, looking at William with a cold smile and a mocking glint in his eyes.

Mary immediately turned flushed and tried to stand up, but a large and firm hand held her down.

William smiled calmly and said, "It doesn't matter where you sit. It depends on who is sitting and eating there. Besides, that's a spot for someone from the Turner family. I don't even care about that."

Having endured for so long, William didn't mind being arrogant for once. Wade was just too detestable, always looking for trouble.

"Wow, you can really brag now. Just being able to enter the Turner family home and sit at the table is a charity to you, understand? Loser!" Wade sneered.

Emily, who was sitting nearby, frowned. She could have sat in the innermost seat, but chose the outermost one to take care of Mary.

"Alright, Wade, can you speak less? Do you have to be against William?" Emily said with a slight frown.

Although she looked down on William, she was still Mary's cousin and wanted to help if she could.

Wade darkened his face as he glanced at Emily. He didn't dare to do anything to her. After all, she was David's daughter and a top student. Moreover, many prestigious families had come to the Turner family to propose to Emily. Her future was prosperous.

"William, are you planning to hide behind Emily all day like a coward?" Wade mocked.

"Wade, do you really look down on me that much?" William couldn't help but sneer. "If it weren't for Mary, I wouldn't even come to the Turner family. I advise you not to provoke me or offend Mary, or I will make you kneel and beg for mercy."

"What did you just say? Me, kneel and beg for mercy? Are you out of your mind, saying such big words!" Wade burst into laughter, his eyes full of ridicule.

‘William is really shameless to say such things. How dare him?’ Wade thought.

"Alright, speak less, and you shut up too!" Emily was angry, glaring at Wade and then at William.

Emily pondered, ‘William knows Wade is trying to humiliate him, yet he still talks back. Isn’t he just asking for trouble? As a useless son-in-law of the Smith Family, can’t he just sit quietly, eat, and leave?’

"Are you trying to make a fool of yourself?" Emily was filled with anger towards William. She even regretted sitting there.

"William is so arrogant for saying such shameless things." One said.

"Exactly, I didn't expect him to be not only useless but also a braggart," Wade added.

"I don't want to sit with him. Let's switch tables." Another guest continued.

The other guests from Yangville who came to the Turner family to celebrate the birthday looked at William as if he were an idiot.

They all got up and switched tables.

Soon, only Mary and Emily were left at William's table.

Wade, feeling smug, mocked loudly, "William, I don't like you. Trash like you doesn't deserve to sit here and eat. If you are sensible, get out of the Turner family right now, got it?"

He thought, ‘How dare William say such big words! Does he think he's Jonathan? People only believe what Jonathan says. After all, he has his own company and capital. But how dare William, a useless person, be so arrogant! If Roy knows about this, he will kick William out in public!’

Thinking of this, Wade gave Daniel a look. Daniel immediately understood, quietly walking away and running into the reception hall.

At this time, Roy was chatting with his children and a few good friends. As soon as Daniel entered, he put on an angry face and shouted, "Grandpa Roy, you have to come out and see. William is being extremely rude, not respecting the Turner family at all! He even wants to hit Wade!"

As soon as he said this, the entire reception hall erupted.

Dorothy lit up her eyes with excitement, eager to go out and watch the drama unfold.

‘Great, a fight would be perfect.’ Daniel pondered. ‘If that happens, William will be kicked out, and Margaret will be utterly humiliated.’

David and Andy didn't show much reaction because Roy was still there. But Margaret wanted to kill William at this moment. William couldn't sit still for even a minute without causing trouble! If a fight really broke out, Margaret would be kicked out of the Turner family!

Roy was furious and slammed his cane on the floor, with his face turning cold. "William is really bold!"

Instantly, the reception hall was in a chilling atmosphere. Everyone knew Roy was angry.

Margaret was extremely nervous, breaking out in a cold sweat, her legs trembling.

With that, Roy, supported by Daniel, left the reception hall and headed towards the outermost area of the banquet. A large group of people followed Roy, surging out like a tide.

In the outer courtyard, Wade was screaming and arguing with William, even getting into a physical fight. William was extremely angry at this moment because Wade had poured wine on Mary and called her a slut!

"You're asking for it!" Grabbing Wade by the collar, William was frosty as he raised his fist, ready to punch Wade's already bruised and swollen face.

Suddenly!

"Stop!" A loud shout rang out.

Everyone turned to look in the direction of the voice.

Roy, with a cold expression and eyes fixed on William who was about to strike, was seething with anger. Roy shouted, "If you dare to hit him, get out of the Turner family immediately!"

By now, a crowd had gathered at the outermost area. They hadn't intervened or even tried to mediate. They were just standing by, watching the spectacle.

Seeing Roy come out, they all stood aside in fear, lowering their heads silently.

No one dared to provoke Roy. Angering Roy meant you would have no living in Lindwood City. William was done for!

Under the fearful gazes of the crowd, Roy, leaning on his cane, walked up, full of rage. He raised his cane and struck William's raised arm!

William winced in pain and his entire right arm went numb.

"How dare you lay a hand on Wade? Is this the good son-in-law of Margaret?" Roy glared at Margaret behind him and shouted angrily.

Margaret was now trembling with fear, not daring to look Roy in the eye.

When Roy got angry, no one could withstand it.

Margaret wished she could tear William to pieces. He was so embarrassing!

Mary stood up quickly, pulling William aside. Seeing the pain on his face, tears welled up in her eyes and started to fall uncontrollably.

After scolding Margaret, Roy turned his angry gaze to William and shouted, "William, do you even respect the Turner family? You even fight at my birthday banquet. Do you even respect me?"

Roy was furious now. ‘How dare this useless person fight against Wade?’ he thought.

William, wincing in pain, shook his arm and said coldly, "I came here to celebrate your birthday today, but Wade kept provoking me and insulted Mary. You didn't even ask about that and put all the blame on me. Isn't that too biased? Isn't Mary your granddaughter?"

Roy was taken aback, glancing at Mary standing next to William, drenched in wine, her eyes red.

Roy looked back at Wade who had a smug expression on his face. But as soon as he met Roy's gaze, he quickly lowered his head, pretending to be obedient.

However, could Roy reprimand Wade in front of so many people?

No, he couldn't.

Margaret was a married daughter, and Mary wasn't part of the Turner family.

Roy snorted coldly. "Everyone, disperse!" Just like that, the matter was left unresolved.

William, having been hit by the cane, sat down, with his entire right arm still numb.

Wade, from a distance, shot him a provocative look and even flipped him the middle finger.

Mary sat beside William and massaged his hand, tears falling like broken pearls with overwhelming grief.

"It's okay, Mary. Don't cry," William said, feeling heartbroken.

Mary, still sobbing, glared at William angrily and said, "Couldn't you just endure it?"

William grinned and said, "I can endure Wade humiliating me, but I can't stand him bullying you. The Turner family is nothing to me. If he doesn't know his place, I don't mind making the Turner family disappear from this world today."

Mary glared at him and pinched his waist. "Stop bragging. Your parents just run a restaurant. Roy is very powerful, and the Turner family is not a small family."

William touched his nose and said nothing more.

At this moment, Emily walked over, coughed, and handed over some ointment. She gave William a cold look and said, "Can you just sit here quietly? Do you have to make everyone unhappy? You got hit, and you deserved it!"

Emily had overheard the first part of William and Mary's conversation.

‘What does he mean? He is really good at bragging! Is Mary tricked by William's boasting back then? I should find an opportunity to talk to Mary about it.’ Emily thought.

William took the ointment, grinning and showing his white teeth. "Thanks for your advice, Emily."

Emily ignored him, pulled out a book from somewhere, and sat down to read it with great interest. The book was about memoirs and interviews of Bennett, the world's greatest stock market guru, admired by everyone!

But to William, Bennett was just his personal financial manager.

William thought for a moment and came up with an idea. He would find an opportunity to have Bennett come over and meet Emily. It would be a way to thank Emily for her help these two times.

"Hey, Emily, would you like to meet Bennett?" William suddenly asked with a cheerful smile.
