Chapter 141 Mary Checks the Balance

As soon as the text message was sent, William, who was sitting uncomfortably in the car, received it.

He glanced at it. It was from Lori. He ignored it.

But messages came in one after another.

William, feeling helpless, opened his text app and glanced at the messages.

[I'm not a scammer. My name is Lori. This is my passport and my address. Please lend me five thousand dollars for an emergency! I will definitely pay you back!]

Attached was Lori's ID, and the photo was quite beautiful.

William thought for a moment and suddenly wanted to mess with Lori. He replied: [Why should I lend it to you? What can you offer me in return?]

Lori was excited when she heard a notification telling her that she had received a reply. However, when she saw the message, she fell silent.

After hesitating for a long time, Lori bit her lip and replied: [If you lend me the money, I'm yours for a whole week. Every night, you can do whatever you want. I'll also pay you back next month.]

Lori had no choice. She was very angry, not expecting this rich guy to be that kind of man.

Seeing Lori's reply, William asked her for nude photos.

Although it was very vulgar, William just wanted to see what Lori was really thinking.

Lori hesitated for a long time before replying: [Okay, wait for me.]

Then, she ran to the women's restroom, closed the door, and after a lot of rustling, sent the photos over.

William received the messages and checked them.

Her body was amazing!

He hadn't expected Lori to actually do it.

Lori: [How about this? Is this enough? Please don't spread it around.]

William didn't hold back. After receiving Lori's photos, he asked for her bank account number and transferred ten thousand dollars to her.

When Lori received the notification, she was both excited and surprised.

Ten thousand dollars. She didn't expect the rich guy to be so generous.

Lori: [Thank you! I'll pay you back as soon as possible! If you ever want to see me, just let me know. I'm safe these days.]

Lori sent the message and then hurried to the bank.

When William saw her message, he only noticed the last word, "safe."

They were both adults, and William fully understood what that word meant.

Lori was really bold and open.

Thinking about it, William briefly felt horny, but he quickly dismissed the disgusting thought.

He couldn't betray Mary!

He couldn't be a jerk!

William sighed helplessly, quickly calming himself down. He closed his eyes, meditated for a while, and gradually regained clarity.

He almost made the mistake that all men could make.

Just then, they arrived in front of a mansion. There were more than a dozen luxury cars parked in front.

The cheapest model was a GTR.

William was dumbfounded. He turned to the purple-haired girl beside him and asked, "Who are you, and why did you bring me here?"

The purple-haired girl unbuckled her seatbelt, and the sight of her chest was alluring.

She turned her face to scrutinize William, then asked, "Are you William?"

William nodded, feeling helpless. This girl didn't even ask beforehand before letting someone into her car. What if she had gotten the wrong person?

"I got it right." Betty smiled, took off her sunglasses, and William was instantly amazed.

This girl was really beautiful, with a small face, big eyes, cherry red lips, and two cute dimples at the corners of her mouth. Her eyes were especially attractive, as they were clear and bright.

Betty got out of the car, and William followed.

She walked up to William, carefully scrutinizing him. She rubbed her chin, frowned, and shook her head. "My dad said you were special, but you seem very ordinary to me. You dress so plainly. There's nothing extraordinary about you."

William felt awkward being scrutinized by Betty. He shrugged. "Then your dad got it wrong. If there's nothing else you need, I'll be going."

With that, William turned to leave.

Kids these days. He couldn't understand what they were thinking.

"Wait a minute. Did I say you could leave?" Betty put her hands on her hips, pointing at William angrily.

Just as William turned around, a group of young men and women came out of the mansion. They were laughing and joking. They were all dressed very luxuriously and were clearly not from ordinary families.

When they saw Betty, they all smiled and waved. "Betty, we've been waiting for you. Where did you go? Didn't you say you were picking up a friend? Where is he? Introduce us."

"Betty's friend must be someone special."

"Could it be a boyfriend? That would break our hearts."

The group of people chatted and laughed, exuding a youthful and restless energy.

Betty glared at a boy with a yellow buzz cut and a lisp, cursing, "Milton, you're so annoying. You talk too much."

The boy with the yellow buzz cut shrugged and stuck out his tongue, not caring at all.

Next to him was a boy in a white shirt with two buttons undone, giving off a carefree vibe with his casually tousled, medium-length hair. His facial features were sharp, and he was very handsome.

He wore simple black cropped pants that looked expensive and a pair of white sneakers that were very fashionable, exuding youthful vitality.

On his wrist was a Cartier watch.

One had to admit, this young man was very handsome and clearly an heir to a rich family.

Similarly, he kept staring at Betty. His eyes were full of affection for her. He said with a smile, "Betty, you're back. Where's your friend?"

Perhaps feeling insecure in front of Betty, he quickly changed the subject.

It was at this moment that everyone's attention turned to William, mainly because he was dressed so plainly, making him stick out like a sore thumb among these rich kids.

At first, everyone thought he was a passerby picking up trash in the mansion area.

But seeing Betty staring at William, they suddenly realized.

"Damn! Betty, is he really your friend? So shabby?" Milton joked, circling William a few times and sizing him up, "Are you a trash picker?"

As soon as he said this, the other boys and girls also chuckled.

"Milton, don't say that. Don't you know that rich people enjoy being low-key nowadays?" said a seductive-looking girl who was standing with her arms crossed, her face full of arrogance.

Milton snorted and provocatively pointed at William. "Him, a rich person? What a joke!"

Then he turned to Betty and asked with a smile, "Betty, is he really your friend?"

Betty nodded, looking calmly at William. "Introduce yourself. We're going to race at Dragonstone Mountain later."

Race?

William looked confused. He was completely out of the loop and said helplessly, "Sorry, I have something to do. I'll leave now. You guys have fun."

William wondered, 'What's up with Betty? Is this how Alan brought his daughter up?'

"Stop! Who said you could leave?" Clarence said coldly. Clarence was very displeased with William's attitude towards Betty.

Even he didn't dare to be so indifferent to Betty, and this poor guy wasn't showing her any respect.

He was looking for trouble.

Clarence walked over. He glared at William and said, "Hey, watch your attitude. Betty asked you to introduce yourself, and yet you're leaving?"

The reason Clarence was upset with William was also because Betty had personally picked him up. Could there be something going on between them?

In Clarence's eyes, William was a rival.

But William was too ordinary, exuding a poor vibe from head to toe.

William looked calmly at Clarence and said, "Sorry, I have nothing in common with you guys, and I don't know her. If you're trying to impress her, you've got the wrong person. I'm just an ordinary guy. I won't bother you anymore."

With that, William turned to leave again.

But Milton, with a mocking smile, ran over and blocked William's way, teasing, "Don't rush. Stay and play with us. Since Betty brought you here, if you leave, it would make us look impolite."

As Milton spoke, he winked at Clarence. They had grown up together and could guess each other's thoughts easily.

They were planning to mess with William.

Betty watched coldly. She didn't want to help William. She just wanted to figure out what was so special about him.

So far, he seemed like just an ordinary person. She couldn't understand why Alan wanted her to be nice to such a person.

Disgusting!

Meanwhile, Mary arrived at the bank and went to the ATM to check how much money was in the card William had given her.

She inserted the bank card and entered the password.

William had said it was her birthday, which made Mary very happy.

She clicked to check the balance...
